Members amybrickwallace
Question: Who was your favorite of Jody's boyfriends - Kelly, Gavin or Preacher? I understand Lori Loughlin and Mark Arnold were an item in real life for awhile as well.
Members slick jones
I liked her with Preacher. Gavin was on his way out when I started watching. Kerrie Emerson's Jody didn't really work with anyone they paired her with. Lori Loughlin had chemistry with everyone.
Members danfling
What about Robbie?
Members applcin
I liked Gavin, mainly because I always had a preference for dark over blond. Don't forget Jeremy, that was who she got shipped off with when the show ended. I'm tempted to relive the Jeff Brown saga on youtube but then I'd want to see more episodes. I wish someone would upload them as a series the way they do Ryan's Hope. My teenage self totally crushed on Larkin Malloy and I cried when Jeff got his comeuppance because I didn't want Larkin to leave the show. Plus, Raven's reaction just killed me. Needless to say, I was thrilled when he came back and even more thrilled when they did a Sky & Raven redux. Members amybrickwallace
Was he the one played by Willie Aames? I didn't know he was with Jody. How long was he on the show?
Members danfling
Yes, Willie Ames played Robbie Hamlin. I am not sure how long he was on the show, but it was less than a year. It was during the Isis storyline.
Members amybrickwallace
OK, thanks!! Who else did the character of Robbie interact with?
Members robbwolff
Willie Aames was only on Edge for about 13 weeks. He debuted in mid-August and was last seen in mid-November when the ISIS story wrapped up. Robbie Hamlin was mainly involved with Jody, Preacher, and Louis Van Dine.

Members amybrickwallace
OK, thanks. I figured it had to be after the 1980-81 season, after Eight is Enough ceased production.

Members robbwolff
It was a storyline that started around May 1983 and ran through November and dealt with a plot to use subliminal perception to control the people of Monticello.
Members danfling
Willie Ames had appeared on the long running Eight Is Enough on ABC and also one season of Charles in Charge on CBS before being on Edge of Night (as it was, by then, called).
Members amybrickwallace
No, he would have had to appeared on EON in between the primetime shows because CIC didn't debut until September 1984. Interestingly enough, his former real-life wife, Maylo McCaslin, had a stint as Sally Taylor, waitress and friend to Kelly Capwell and Joe Perkins, on Santa Barbara from 1984-85.
