I remember he did have some sort of out burst, but not sure if it tied into him leaving, as he did have several exits. I hated Steven - he really bugged me, with his smug attitude. It didn't help when the show started to prop the Steven/Selina pairing, as I was a fan of Jesse & Selina.

ETA: I found this clip of Steven's 1996 exit - Pippa and Alisa talk about Steven's out burst. Those were the days, when H&A was good; pity it can't be like that now. They just don't make characters like they used to.

Male character, that is. I know, I missed out the most important word from that sentence.

Alf (1988); Morag (1988 recurring); Colleen (1988 recurring until 1999); Irene (1992); Leah (2000); Tony (2005); Miles (2008); Nicole (2008).

They've had a pretty big turnover, especially in the last decade. It speaks volumes when the most recent are the longest serving characters.

For those that have been watching one of the questions being asked here in Australia is "Who is Rabbit?"

Well my guess is that Rabbit is actually in Miles's mind. As far as I have been able to see is that Miles is the only one that see's and speaks to Rabbit. As for who she is my guess is that she is the spirit of Miles's daughter. When Miles first came to the bay we found out that his wife and daughter died in the Tsunami that hit the Indonesia, Sri Lanka area a few years back.

I was a huge JJ fan. 2005 was when Dan Bennett took over, and began the OTT years. Things went downhill from this point onwards, especially the character assassination of Jesse. How Dan Bennett had the nerve to bring back Chloe Richards, a beloved character, only to kill her off in a dumb storyline, is beyond me. He had the opportunity to reunite Jesse and Chloe, and have them ride off into the sunset, but instead chose the senseless option.

    • I do not think I have ever agreed with Vee. Normally I do not read him, Ignore ya know. For some unknown reason I clicked to read. And I agree 1000%. Now, this is so odd that I need to go away for a bit.
    • Justine had a lot of hooey in it, but she was an actual woman, not a guy in drag. She was a doppelganger of Rachel, French, having had a past history with Carl, etc. Two of the more outrageous parts-Justine bricking alive Vicky into a wall & Justine grinding the gears driving a big rig.
    • Hehe, twi/x actually x, formerly Twitter. Typically I find 2 sources for "crazy fan rumors" - the wrong parts of FB and x. Oy.
    • Not to hijack the thread, but was that character Justine? I just found this interview online with Logan and see what you're talking about - wow!   http://www.anotherworldhomepage.com/chat85.html
    • My bad….ill fix that  Fixed
    • Where do you discover this crazy rumor??
    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.
