I'm glad she's a new character. She'd be doomed before she started if she had to live up to MW's Liza right off the bat. Pratt must already be in the building secretly or something. I can't see JHC developing her character on without a head writer. Or am I wrong?

This is definitely Pratt. Her characters got his name all over it. Right down to the army plot.

Well, this is already a bust. They should have introduced her as a past character, but now her stories gonna be all about her and Jake.

That was the whole idea. Reminds me a lot of George Reinholt and Jacquie Courtney when they jumped from Another World to One Life to Live in 1975.

Next we will find out that Vincent Irrizary joins the show as Michael Mancini and Kimberlin Brown as Kimberly Shaw

LOL so original....

Oh BLAH. Just what AMC needs, another new character that isn't needed.

Meh AMC has characters already on the show that aren't needed(some not even new) so what's one more useless character LOL

"Taylor McBride" and the Lipsa Rinna picture have me literally laughing my ass off. If that isn't an omen...? So much for taking anything Pratt does seriously. I guess we're in for camp.

Everything else aside, I think new characters are better than recasts in general. It's very rare that a recast actually works. I don't know how many times they've recast somebody on a soap and completely changed the character and I thought, "Well, they should've just made you a new character." It's good that she's not Liza or anyone else, really.
