Don't be so sure. They have recently begun showing a TON more affection toward each other and have been kissing regularly Maybe now they'll turn into plot-driven drones like the rest of the characters on the show!

Take away Ammera and the characters have nothing else. And you've got to figure Chris G is thinking he's already given Nuke a story, it's time to focus on others. And given the crap the show has gotten from both sides, I'm thinking they are gun shy about another storyline
