It's a shame SB never really gave Todd McKee/Ted a great story to do. He was young, effervescent, handsome and could actually act. With the possible exception of Hayley, I wasn't crazy about any of Ted's romances but thought he was terrific as the youngest Capwell sibling (though in reality he was actually a couple of years older than Robin Wright).

Agreed, Amy. Todd and Stacy Edwards had a lot of chemistry (not to mention Stacy was very easy on the eyes, and she still is to this day... lol). When Hayley was killed, that really put an end to Todd McKee's good storylines on the show. His last year and a half was a total waste.

I think Ted had some decent storylines. The story with Julie Ronnie (not the Hollywood stuff that was horrible), Christy Duvall trial, Hayley.

But once Susan Marie Snyder arrived and the new couple were Jake and Hayley, Ted was always wasted in bad stories. Most of the time he even didn't have stories.

And it's a shame because Todd Mckee was very good.

I'm glad Joe and Peter died at the same time. Not because I didn't like Joe and Kelly. It's because I was so socked with this resolution. Those days I couldn't believe what just happened.

It was a perfect, tragic and sadistic ending. In fact, Kelly's nightmare in her honeymoon was amazing stuff. (I'm a fan of horror movies and I enjoyed a lot that horror adventure on the desert)

I was a child and that ending was kind of The Red Wedding of GOT from the 80's.

But I would love to see DW in that ending. Nothing against Mark Arnold but it's true that the chemistry between Robin and Dane was undeniable and it would have been more painful and saddest to watch Joe's death in Kellys arms with Dane instead of Mark. (and also I picture Dane in Greatest Love Affair wedding and he would have been perfect)

    • BITD I was posting about how interesting it was that Denise had been with this same guy for simply years but they just did not marry - then that year they married!
    • Random takes from this week: - Bill’s been played way too soft by the actor. I just can’t buy him doing anything truly sinister. I wish he had more of that old-school Victor Newman edge. - On characterization: I’m fine with Leslie being shown as a narcissistic and cruel mother—as long as she doesn’t tip into full cartoon villain territory. Dani’s involvement in Nicole’s storyline feels natural to me, and I really like that Martín is such a hothead, which totally clashes with his polished political career. No wonder no one wants to confide in him. Also, I don’t mind Haley’s characterization at all. - I’m still annoyed they dropped the whole lawsuit storyline. That’s why I’m a bit hesitant about getting too invested in the June plot. Also: I can do without another instant-sibling storyline. - Ashley and Derek? Totally fine with them in small doses. That’s the best way to handle those two. - Thank God Ted is getting recast. I honestly couldn’t handle that constant swaying much longer. - Speaking of Ted: maybe I’m in the minority here, but that hotel set is hideous. The oversized boiserie makes everything look flat, and that artwork on the wall? Bland, ugly, and lifeless. - I’m 50/50 on the product placement. On one hand, it’s totally misplaced and campy—especially when it shows up in the middle of emotional scenes. It just feels wrong. But on the other hand… here we are talking about Febreze and Tide. So maybe it is working? I honestly don’t know. - I don’t have any issues with the fashion on the show overall, but André’s wardrobe is just off. Not in terms of style, but size. His tops are way too tight and actually make him look even shorter than he is. Same goes for Smitty. Both of them would seriously benefit from some larger blazers or chunkier sweaters.
