Ah, I think it's a good casting choice. I liked Kevin on Knots Landing and he's shown he can handle daytime pretty well (OLTL), so I'll give it a shot. Good job, Days!

From what I thought and probably read somewhere else a long time ago, John Clarke was just ready to retire.

I'm all for Dobson as Mickey. Let's just hope he'll do a good job. lol

OTOH, you could have Mickey's funeral off-camera, maybe have the wake at the Horton house, and just have Hope refer to Alice being upstairs resting from all the chaos.

Great casting! I never thought of Kevin Dobson playing Mickey Horton. But he should be awesome in the role. KNOTS' Mack MacKenzie was an attorney, so he'll fit that mode and I think he's the perfect age for Mickey and will be great with Suzanne Rogers(Maggie). I hope this leads to the casting of Sarah Horton &/or Melissa Horton as well, It's high time that DAYS brings on more Hortons!

Kevin Dobson was AMAZING on Knots Landing! The perfect good guy with an edge. He and Suzanne Rogers could take Mickey and Maggie to new heights. I hope there is a purpose behind this and not just window dressing.

In fact, I think the fact that John Ingle looked so ancient really dragged down Maggie, she was married to some old geezer who could have been her father!

I think Kevin Dobson and Suzanne Rogers will have sparkling chemistry, true you never know till you see it in action, but my intuition tells me they'll be divine.

You know with how much we've been seeing Victor and Caroline, its possible that we might get to see much more of Mickey and Maggie..I'm so excited about my news..Can't wait to tell my mom, she used to love him on Knots..
