I think it's nothing, SOD has a history of making headlines out of pure crap.

Plus, we'd definitely know if force majeure was used to fire Hogan, since the force majeure cases have been widely reported in the non-soap rags press.

It could also be the Dena Higley news, but really, Days is going to start airing full-out scab material soon, so why report on that when she won't be credited any time soon?

I figured as much. Thanks for clarifying, Ryan.

I look forward to hearing reactions in the SOD story though, especially from RJ and JP. Not alot of talk about casting decisions has been leaking out from TPTB or the actors of late at Days since the summer. I wonder if it's an Ed Scott thing because that seemed to start happening when he came on.

Re: Julie Pinson - How stupid of DAYS to let go of someone who could've been their next Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie) or Denise Alexander (ex-Susan)?

Re: Judi Evans - Not surprised. I think the show might've been hoping for Wally Kurth to come back and reprise Justin, thus giving Adrienne more substantial material. Alas, that probably won't happen (regardless of how things turn out for him at ATWT). Of course, with her gone from the show, it renews my hope (against hope, obviously) that GL will ask her to come back. (Real Greenlee? How 'bout the "Real Beth"?)

Re: Renee Jones - It's called a chain, Kenny, and you need to quit yanking hers.

Re: Shirley Jones - Meh.

    • Poor Philip. I appreciate how seriously his and Xander’s scenes were taken though. It felt like real drama and not like a big joke. You could actually feel Xander’s pain and anger. It adds another dynamic to the Kiriakis family storylines and I’m looking forward to the effects that this is going to have across the canvas. I can see them weaving Kate and Roman into this storyline as well. And it would be really nice if this somehow helped cause conflict for Stephanie/Alex too, especially because of what Alex did today. With any luck, Stephanie will be furious about it.  And I’m glad that Sarah has Maggie to confide in about her secret. I also liked seeing Steve and Shawn (and their matching jackets

    • TBF, I don't think we've seen her interact enough with the "have-nots" to know if she is or isn't. It's possible, but I don't think you can say that from her interactions with Eva and Silkpress.
    • You're right - though I did confuse his name with an actual actor who was on Dynasty.

    • "Might" is not "is". And I was talking about the specific case about her attitude to Eva.
    • But she can still be a priveliged elitist. She might have the same attitude to anyone from 'the wrong side of the tracks' whether they had an agenda or not. Nicole seems to be an outlier in her family. Her parents, kids and sister seem to think themselves above reproach.
    • Damian's clothes have definitely been a specific look -kinda reads 70's pimp to me . I guess it's a trend?? but it seems more suited to Holden. JR is 51  and I guess Damian is supposed to be a little younger but it looks a little odd on him in my book. But at least they're trying. The men's clothing has been bland/generic for years-either suits or basic casual stuff interchangeable  b/w them.
