January 10, 200817 yr Member According to the interview Peter Brash gave a few months ago, next week should be the last week of ATWT script writers, and the week after that should be the last breakdowns. Daytime's moment of truth for the strike is really starting now... I have a strong feeling you are right about ATWT, going by the spoilers for those weeks, some of that stuff is even out there for JP.

January 11, 200817 yr Member We will finally see who will be HW for ATWT. And who will be writing the scripts. If it's fi core writers we will. If it's scabs, we won't.
January 11, 200817 yr Member This is probably a stupid question with the strike going on and all, but Toups can you confirm if you know, are things being rewritten at AMC? So far there's been ALOT of spoilers that are not happening, or when they did, it was completely different from what the spoiler said...

January 11, 200817 yr Member What spoilers are you speaking of Angie? Just curious? Yeah, I'm curious as well. What I really want to know is when we'll find out who's writing AMC.
January 11, 200817 yr Member Toups, at then end of today's B&B the credits listed Bradley Bell, Michael Minnis and Kay Alden. Also, for the past week or so Jerry Birn and Janice Ferri Esser are listed as Story Consultants with the actors and other crew members with the longer credits. They were both listed in today's episode.

Also, for the past week or so Jerry Birn and Janice Ferri Esser are listed as Story Consultants with the actors and other crew members with the longer credits. They were both listed in today's episode. CTV (which I assume has the same credits as cbs.com) didn't list the storyline consultant, and now CBS is back to listing them when they weren't a few days ago? Oy, these B&B credits are pissing me off. Can't a multi billion dollar company do something right when it's something so easy like credits??? Come on!!!
January 11, 200817 yr Author Administrator Oh and I just heard that Linda Poindexter joined the DAYS writing team on trial basis just before the strike started. So I guess she wrote the last script if all the script writers are gone from tomorrow's credits. Wow, bad timing for her!
January 11, 200817 yr Member ^Who would hire her? She's had no prior writing experience, it makes you wonder....

I don't know, but things being re-written shouldn't be a surprise now.
January 11, 200817 yr Author Administrator She's had no prior writing experience, it makes you wonder.... Well she worked for Ken Corday for 18 years, so when she joined the WGA, Ken hired on a trial basis to see what she can do.
January 11, 200817 yr Member Adam's accusation sobers Zach. Didn't happen AT ALL...... and this one from the today, the first part did NOT happen at all, and the second was more about Erica wanting Jack to come over more than it was about Kendall: Erica has a warning for Kendall and doesn’t want to see her daughter ruin things with Zach. Wanting to protect Kendall’s happiness, Erica calls Jack and Greenlee over. ETA: Thanks Toups Edited January 11, 200817 yr by Zendall Fan
January 11, 200817 yr Member According to the NY Times, both AMC head-writers are fi-core: "Two of the most prominent soap opera writers to return to work are James Harmon Brown and Barbara J. Esensten, the co-head writers of “All My Children” on ABC, according to someone briefed on their decision who would discuss it only anonymously. The writing team, whose credits include “Guiding Light” and “Port Charles,” accepted financial core status and returned to work in late December." The two writers did not respond Thursday to messages left at their offices. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/11/business...amp;oref=slogin Edited January 11, 200817 yr by Darcy
