I don't think so. I think he's just being lazy on OLTL and it makes him very one note. I'm not saying he's great but he does have a bit more range than he has shown on ABCD (and I'm including that vampire biz). His character is definitely the worst romantic lead that I think I've seen on a soap.

Then again the list is one man's opinion and to me it's no different than People saying who the sexiest man or woman alive is. If you don't agree with them then you might say something like I don't think so (which I say no matter who it is).

Frankly, Kaba has always looked too Bohemian to play Aaron Snyder. IMO, he looks like he would fit in more w/ the Grimaldis, or even the Walshes, than he would w/ ATWT's salt-of-the-earth bunch.

I always thought he was a good match for the genetic combination of Julie and Holden, and there are WAY worse actors who could take his place on this list. Silbermann is right at home on it, though. I think the fans were swayed by his shirtless scenes in Branson and totally ignored his one-note performances. And tell me how. How? HOW?

So then wouldn't he belong on a list of the laziest actors instead? People who show up but don't so to speak. I don't even see how they justify keeping him on the show at a premium salary (if that rumor about his paycheck is true). I don't know what constitutes a large fanbase but I've read several times that he has a large one and how it will hurt OLTL but can anyone show me where his presence on the show has helped the ratings? They should make him actually work and put that in his next contract if they are stupid enough to re-sign him.

Laziest? yes. Worst? Maybe because he's among the laziest and most well-paid.

If we're getting into "specialized" lists, I'd call him the biggest disappointment, for starters.

Four plus years of it, and hovering around an 80% appearance rate for most of that time? I think he deserves to be on a "worst overall" list. Maybe he doesn't deserve all the blame. Maybe he's the panties they threw at the wall, over and over again, hoping they'd stick. They haven't yet.

6. JAKE SILBERMANN (NOAH MAYER, AS THE WORLD TURNS)

Although Silbermann sizzles opposite love interest Van Hansis (Luke) thanks to their off-the-charts chemistry, the newcomer's sloppy work is hard to ignore. Silbermann looks constipated most of the time, especially when he attempts to convey any kind of real emotion. Get thee some Exlax, quick!

OMG. I couldn't agree with you more! Those two are horrible.

I don't know about Canada, but in the United States there are laws here against this kind of writing--it's called LIBEL. Professionally, all journalists should have the grace and class to avoiding writing this kind of smear material. There's a big difference between giving an opinion someone can't act and saying "My dead grandmother could act better than "X" Publishing is a privledge, not a license to be an ax murderer.

I was gonna comment that I had no idea Canada's TV Guide was so over the top bitchy (it seems especially mean to be quite so cruel about th eyounger actors even if I kinda agree) but this isn't all that diff than some comments I've heard from Logan, Hinsey, etc honestly

The fact of the matter is the person who wrote this is expressing their own personal opinion, and those of us who read the site reguarly know that snarkiness is a signature trait of theirs.

Its not anything that people in the US haven't done before, in fact, and in some cases its not even close to the horrible things written about people.

Perez Hilton and TMZ are the first that come to mind. Not to mention Star, Globe, National Enquirer, OK! magazine in the UK, etc.

I don't see what the big deal is.
