From what I saw, she plotted to steal Bridget's and while it may not have been stealing, she allowed someone to steal Jason and Liz's baby. She don't have a good record when it comes to babies

Im guessing you weren watching the show regularly back then? Sam was GIVEN Bridget's baby. Bridget was an immature and irresponsible teen who didnt want to be a mother so she handed her kid off to Sam. Sam became foster parent and wanted to adopt Hope. Of course Bridget decided she wanted the baby back. They didnt have time to fight over the baby as Bridget's grandmother stepped in and decided to have custody. Sam did not plot to steal any child.

She was only instrumental in returning Carly, Sonny and Alexis' children home when they were kidnapped by Faith. She fought hard and risked her life to do so. And when those kids were returned, she stepped in as surrogate mother to Michael and Morgan since their parents were too busy fighting to care for them. Sam was the one scheduling Michael's therapy sessions and taking him to the doctor. She was the one watching Morgan and tucking him in while Carly was running around losing her mind obsessing over Jax/Courtney and Sonny/Reese. Nope, Sam has never been shown to be good with children

Actually she did it for herself. She had just lost her baby months earlier and it was comforting for her to be involved in Michael and Morgan's lives. She was accused of kidnapping them, so it was personal for her and she empathasized with Sonny and Carly when they thought Michael was dead bc her baby had died. She didnt do it to hold onto Jason. She already had him and he wasnt looking to leave her. They were pretty solid until she was shot a year later
