It'll be interesting to hear Rafa's assessment of where he thinks his game is after losing to Thiem in this SF, compared to his SF loss to Fognini in Monte Carlo. Soapsuds Members Share Posted April 28, 2019 And congrats to Dominic Thiem! That's a big ass trophy....LOL. He is only the 2 player besides Roger to win twice this year. He now breaks the 5,000 point mark and is close to being seeded #4 in Paris depending how well Sascha does. Roger will more than likely be #3. Sascha could drop to #5 by the time the Italian Open is over.

Faulkner Members Share Posted April 29, 2019 LOL! Were you this happy when he beat Federer and won Indian Wells? I suppose Thiem’s form was even more lethal here.

He beat two of the greatest in both tournaments but glad he followed it up with the win today. I thought he might have a letdown after beating Nadal. The IW win wasn't expected. I actually think he can win the US Open too besides the French Open. Edited April 29, 2019 by Soapsuds

DramatistDreamer Members Share Posted April 29, 2019 Okay, for some reason, I don't get the caption under the photo sometimes. Forever yes, definitely clarifies that, lol.
