Even worse, those ads that proclaim a series to be "the most anticipated" of the season. Oh really? By people who attended the up-fronts, maybe. The premise of the show is so ridiculous, it should have been contained to a movie of the week. I'm glad to see Chi McBride on another show though.

I'm glad to see someone else enjoyed the show as much as I did. And I loved teh quirky sense of humor throughout the episode. I don't know what some people seem to have against it. I love watching shows that are different, which is why I rather enjoy this one. Just because it is different isn't a good enough reason to hate it.

Whoa, I didn't say I didn't like shows that were different. In fact I love shows that are different I watch lost, arrested development(now cancelled because it was different), heroes, etc. I just don't think this one is a good one. An about my critic comment I was refering to critics that just praise a show thats different just because its different who totally overlook the quality of the show and appeal to the audience.

I was really struggling through the first 20 minutes - had that itchy finger waiting to change the channel.

But I gave it a chance and ended up really liking it.

The lead is brilliant - and he's adorable. The dialogue is so poetic, intelligent, and full of great metaphors. This writer obviously excelled in english classes...haha.

Chi McBride is always great. He's a great sidekick.

I'll be giving it another chance now. It'll be interesting to see what else they can do with this show...

Okay, next to Reaper, this is my FAVORITE show of the new season. Well acted, well written, like a fairy tale on crack, but in a good way.

And I LOVE Ellen Greene. She played Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors on both stage and screen, and its good to see her acting again :)

I loved it! Too bad everything has to catch on with the closed minded mainstream to survive on tv. Hopefully one day they will make tv like PPV because I'd be willing to pay money to see this one. Unfortunately I can't say the same for any of the other new shows this season.

Um, I LOVED this show, thankyouverymuch.

VERY original.

It may also be the most aesthetically pleasing and whimsical network series EVER. I LOVE the direction, LOVE the sets, LOVE everything about it.

VERY charming too. For some the starcrossed romance between "the piemaker" (LOVE how they call him that) and "Chuck" may be sickeningly sweet, but it's very sweet for those of us who are sort of romantics.

LOVE EVERYTHING about this show.

INSTANT hit.

INSTANT classic.

It BETTER have won its time slot.

the world NEEDS this show.

Thank you. I didn't realize there was confusion. You cleared it up.  It is more than crazy that this whole conversation is off-topic.
    • Sure!  And we promise, Mr Corday -- we will ridicule those wonderful old episodes daily on social media.   NOT!
    • "To give her child a name" just means to make the child legitimate and be able to take the father's surname.
    • I would say, Denise was the ONLY good thing about that insultingly ridiculous plot.  But all this took place near the end of Another World's "let's play everything for laughs" era.  Thank God that nonsense ended around 1988.
    • We could take an OATH: We swear we will hate these episodes!
    • Will I miss anything pertinent fast forwarding? I love that Kristina is so aghast someone could think she’s crazy after she just tried to kill someone. She’s basically saying my mom doesn’t know the full extent of my crazy, how dare she! It’s laughable. I genuinely don’t know what the show wants us to think of Kristina at this point,
    • Oh yes, that would be grand!  But Ken Corday will never allow that.  No executive-producer wants to hear people rave about how good his show "used to be".    Thank you for sharing that information.  I barely remember that plot, but it was so significant in DOOL's history.  Ramifications went on for years and years.
    • Not just that but Im sure she will be blamed for trying to poison Laura with potassium. Remember when Nicole started to put the pieces together that someone may have tampered with her IV? She dropped it bc she got distracted with the party, but they did make a note to mention that Eva lied and sent a card and flowers there on Nicole's behalf. Im sure they will say that that was just a cover for her to be in Laura's room and come for her
    • Susan named her son after her father, Richard, and they called him Dickie, for short. David had bought Dickie a play swing but it was too big for him. One day, while David was babysitting, he put Dickie in the swing, took his eyes off of him for a few seconds and he fell out of the swing, hit his head and died. Susan was so devastated that she shot and killed David only like a few episodes later.
    • Mickey Horton got her off, temporary insanity. Edit to add: If only Peacock would air this storyline.  Edit to add: David was supposed to be watching the child. Wasn't. Child fell out of swing, broke his neck. The show had the camera focus on that empty swing, just barely moving ...
