I hate it. I was in total shock when it came on. It was like watching an opening to a National Geographic special on Egypt! I didn't see one globe and the theme song isn't catchy at all!

They should've listened to the fans but of course they didn't. What they also should've done was had a spinning globe as the background and have everyone else in the middle of it. Just a thought.

It's obvious by now that TPTB hate listening to the fans. I don't see why, though. Us fans sometimes come up with better ideas in a single post here at S.O.N. then some of TIIC come up with in a month!

I wanta know what's over there on the left that everybody keeps staring at?! Bob, Emily, Gwen...what? Is there someone over there doing the macarena without any clothes on or....I mean, what is so amusing that you must divert your eyes in that direction?

I have no inside information or anything, but I can *guarantee* that they'll show up some time this week. I think it's silly to think they'd only include half of the cast in a brand-new opening.

I think I might be in the minority, but I definitely like the slower part of the music, at the beginning, a lot more than the faster part. That faster part would work much better for a show like OLTL. Does nothing for ATWT, IMO. They could have kept the same melody of the faster part, but put it in the same style as the beginning of the song. That'd sound more ATWT to me.

Oh, and I noticed all of the classic shots in the opening yesterday too. Thank God Scott Bryce is back. They would've never used that old Lucinda/Craig shot if Meek was still in the role. Kudos for the old Lisa/Bob shot too!

One thing about this opening REALLY bugs me. I hate how there's no introduction in it. It just starts. It would have gotten just a few more points from me had they threw a globe into an introduction part. It could start with a gold-tinted globe, which could fade off into the background, yet still be seen spinning. That would have kicked ass.

I'm like " I dont know " On the opening. I like the visuals but no globe. I like how all the charaters be looking intense in the camera or do a slow look to the camera. very soapish/classic. I love how it ends too. I really love the background. Very oakdalish
