Christel Khalil is a disaster! Did you guys see her today and you truly want to tell me she can act? No emotion for a fricking sliced open head? And the stuff with Dru was nauseating! It was clearly an accident and she was a total !@#$%^&*] to Dru about it. If she knows Dru is losing it, shouldn't she be more sympathetic? Considering all of the vile things DRU has had to put up, the nerve of that slag! The character is completely dead to me now. My biggest problem is that she has no heart and not a selfless bone in her body when Khalil plays her. Davetta's Lily had a ton of heart and was down for her family no matter what.

I'm dreading Dru's exit when we'll have to deal with Lily as the only Barber-Winters woman. It's almost blasphemous.

Bradley is another character dead to me, but this has been true for months. He's not even capable of showing genuine concern about his daughter. He comes off so !@#$%^&*]y and entitled like he's some god everyone must bow down to. I hope our next storyline for Brad is his downfall, but with our luck he'll team up with Victor to take down Jack. It's a shame, because Brad was once an interesting cad, but they refuse to acknowledge what a scumbag he is.

I totally agree with every word you typed!

Doesn't she look like that most of the time?

I saw the first half of the show today, so I can respond to this. All hate towards Khalil's portrayl of Lily aside, if someone threw a camera at your head and busted your head open, you wouldn't freak out? Lily was civil to Dru compared to what I would have done if my mother threw a camera at my head. I would pick that sh*t up and throw it back at her. Dru needs to be committed. She's hurting her family. Lock her up and throw away the key!:P

And I agree about Brad. The only time I like him is in scenes with Sharon.

I had to rewind the scene where Brad was acting cool towards Adrian....just the look on his (Adrian's ) face made me feel somewhat sorry for him.

Someone should have locked J.T. in a refrigerator; I'm beyond tired of him thinking he knows so much, when he's as dumb as they come (look who trained his dumb butt to be a P.I. in the first place :P )....The truth could be slapping what remaining sense he has out of him and he still will let that ego and snotty pride of his do whatever to get things to go his way.

Glad to see that in the weeks to come, he'll be the outsider once again.

ICAM! Christel was [!@#$%^&*] DREADFUL. WTF TPTB were smoking when they decided to bring her ass back, I'll never know, but I do kow they made a monumental mistake by letting Davetta go. If she was still Lilly, that scene would have been much more better and I wouldn't have had to hear all that damn screaming of the lines Christel did today.

These are days I wish Davitta was back cause she would have rocked in that scene with Dru throwing something at her. This twit on my screen has to go not feeling her at all. She sucks royally.

I love the friendship between Kevin and Daniel. I like that Daniel is concerned about Kevin. The Baldwins/Fisher have no doubt about Kevin and I like they will do what ever they have to do to protect eachother and defend eachother. I just love me some Kevin.

UGH Brad is useless and a waste.

JT the dumbest pi beside Paul that I have ever scene but did enjoy JT and Victoria. Go figure.

Dru rocks, I am so going to miss Victoria cause she be so ghetto but with class and that is so hard to fine.

Overall my Greg is rocking and I want Kevin/Colleen they would be interesting.

Who's Rocking the Show SO Far:

Victoria Rowell is rocking the role of Dru....She's excellent at being a woman on the edge, and she had me focused on all that she did...She brings a spice and a spark to Dru; something that no recast (if they ever went that route) could ever do...You can really tell that she ad-libs some of the lines she has, and when she does, it's excellent.

Greg is rocking the scenes he's having too....I'm beginning to like me some Kevin...Just the scenes where he's fearing that Colleen will die had me taking notice...I just can't wait to see Greg and Adrienne having more scenes together..

Just saw Monday's show: My girl Jess Walton sure was fabulous and smoking fine-looking.

And those Ji Min scenes - Eeeeee, I got sugar shock and totally missed the awful Nick&Phyllis moments. Loving "JiJi" - LOL! Kill Will Stiffwell...

And Jeanne Cooper was so fabulous as well: That pissed look when she heard that Jill's son already has a wife. Can't wait when she mets the actual new Mrs. Chancellor. She better get those magic hands ready for a serious slapping lesson.

EDIT: OMG - Dru doing a Naomi Campbell. Amazing, Miss Rowell!

    • Well, Josh was a horndog. LOL Yep. It was one of the first really weird things Reva did with her PPD. She became obsessed with the idea that Dylan and Sam should get married. Sam was only 17, and needed her parent's permission. Reva helped them leave town so they could go to a neighboring state where Sam was old enough. Ross, Billy and Josh stopped them, then Sam went to India to try and persaude Justin. Reva followed her and didn't tell Josh she was going. While Reva was gone, Josh advertised for nannies, and Harley applied. He ended up hiring someone else. But when Reva returned, she hired Harley because (in her weird mental state) she wanted someone she could trust with the kids (because she feared Josh was trying to get rid of her and that Vanessa wanted the children.). After Reva starts treatment, she asks Harley to stay until she's stronger because she's good with the kids. At the party, Reva starts going off the rails, insulting Justin and Josh hauls her to a private dining room to ask WTF. Reva starts confronting him about the "affair" with Vanessa, and he realizes she is weird. He locks her in the dining room and frees Mindy and Van from the ladies room (where Reva has locked them in). Van starts telling him that Reva attacked her and needs help.  Reva escapes out the window of the dining room and goes back to the party, climbs onto a table and starts a striptease. Josh gets her to stop, takes her home and after filling Ed in, decides to go to the doctor the next day. Reva then takes off and spends days running around town, coming on to a guy she thinks is Billy, Billy, Hamp, Frank and Roger.  Roger takes her to his apartment and takes nude pictures of her, which he tries to blackmail Billy with. He wants the deed to the land the Towers is on in exchange for them. (Billy had been left the deed by a sweet old lady who lost her home in the 5th street fire. Roger had stolen the deed from her before she died. After Roger took those pics of Reva, she saw him hide them, and took an envelope from the hiding place. She didn't realize she'd taken the deed and not the pictures.)  Anyway, Billy and Vanessa trick Roger into burning the pictures, claim the deed and at the Towers opening reveal that Billy owns the land and therefore the Towers. That's what led to Roger and Alex's breakup and Roger and Mindy's affair.
    • All the time they spent trying to make viewers feel sorry for Chad only for him to not even last that long. I wonder if they knew Richard Burgi was going so quickly. You're right about Josie replacing Cheryl. On paper, this should have made sense, given all the ties Josie had to the canvas, but I did prefer Cheryl. There was something very synthetic about Alexandra Wilson.  I suppose even if she did have some fans they were just so used to getting rid of people left and right, so she was more collateral damage. As you said above I do wonder what the plans were for Peggy Lazarus. I think AWHP mentioned her once telling Peter that Peggy Lazarus wasn't her real name. Maybe she would have been another Carl moll... Rebecca Hollen never did get her due in her soap roles.
    • So true...Hackney might have had a story on FC with Richard being an old lover of his, but reveals herself to be a Cartel member and blackmails Richard with something into doing her dirty work  LOL. But of course Richard had his hands full with the double trouble sisters Ms. Jones and Ms. Braxton that season.

    • Cat herself will be a stumbling block all her own as she vowed to Chad to stay away from him, thus redeeming her of her crime morally. Classic DAYS would have them gazing longingly at each other at Doug's Place or Blondie's, while Liz is serenading the room with a song aptly chosen to represent their feelings of emotional turmoil.
    • From what I just recently watched, they were setting her up to go into future stories. She was Emmy nomination worthy in the material I saw. If some viewers did not like her, the character could have been rehabilitated after that sick storyline. It feels like they destroyed a character for fun and then tossed her to the curb. Spencer had chemistry with everyone. I'm just retroactively angry on Spencer's behalf.  You're right about how Cheryl was often forgotten and pushed aside and I would take Cheryl over Josie. I think soaps need characters like Cheryl. Characters like Josie are way too common. Josie always got on my nerves.
    • CBS was back in third place in 1994/95. That was the season CBS lost NFL broadcasting rights which also cost them several established affiliates in major media markets. 1995 CBS was sold to Westinghouse and Les Moonves arrived. 1995/96 CBS was trying to be young and cool to compete with NBC and Fox, but it was an epic failure and CBS was once again in third place.
    • I tend to think that Chad will actually listen to Jen (this time). And that will be the next stumbling block in their relationship, which will open the possibilities for Cat to seek another member of their love triangle... To iterate my earlier thought, I am also not a fan of the person Melissa Reeves, but the character of Jennifer looks so chic this week, especially in comparison to Hope (and Gabi).  That blunt haircut is a winner.
    • I think Cheryl was essentially replaced by Josie, and it seems likely that Lemay wanted to bring the Frames back into the picture and for a variety of reasons that it would be McKinnons who would make way for them. Cheryl didn't really get many layers -- she was pretty and kind and sweet and faded into the background so that Scott could participate in the AIDS storyline with Dawn. Looking at the AWHP, other than (not very) shockingly being in love with her mother's adopted son Scott, Cheryl apparently went out with Sam and flirted with much-too-old-for-her John Hudson and MJ's ex-boyfriend/pimp Chad. I know MJ told Mary that she had been a prostitute, but did she tell Cheryl and did she tell anyone about Chad's pimping?
    • I feel the same way about Melissa Reeves' Jennifer. She just makes the show feel like home by her presence alone. I am perfectly okay with them coming in every once and awhile, which probably fits Reeves' schedule better anyway. Their connections to Salem are still there: JJ, the grandkids, Jack still owning half of The Spectator ... they're perfect recurring characters. All this talk of Jennifer being in the wrong regarding Cat is absurd. Jennifer is not being villainized in any way, shape, or form, she's just being allowed to actually be human, which adds odds to the obstacle of Chad and Cat eventually getting together. All inner conflict. Keep it coming!
    • Hahaha. Jean Hackney, Angelica Nero, and the Falcon Crest henchwomen were all straight out of a James Bond movie.
