Thanks for posting the article.

Her commetns reinforce my belief that she got fired for getting too opinionated. It sounds as if she had one foot out the door due to the utter crap on our screens.

It's laughable that she would ask the fans not to stop watching a show she obviously concedes is not the same as it once was. Change is inevitable, but AMC has taken a turn for the worse.

Oh well. If people stop watching or choose to voice their anger via e-mails/calls, it won't be because of their refusal to accept that she's off the show but because the show is so awful.

WOW!!!!!

I'm happy Cady cleared the air - and let us in on EVERYTHING.

So it all started when they decided to make Tad the Madden killer. That is what started it. Interesting.

Also very interesting that she pointed out that Megan can't write anything else for Dixie or David as characters. That's sad and pathetic! That should show them maybe they need some new creative air in the studios over there.

UGH - I still can't believe they treated Cady like this - by killing Dixie with Cady's favorite breakfast....and then taking Cady and Dixie off the ABC.com website completely while Vincent, Julia, Terri, and Connie are all still there!!! Outrageous!

Oh and that is very interesting that she brought up how STUPID this is that Dixie would keep Tad from his child with Krystal after the whole Kate thing - it makes NO sense - and how horrible and ridiculous it was for Father Clarence to validate this action! LOL - go Cady!

Wow Cady! You go girl!

Finally the truth comes out. I like Cady's comment on why bring back the character if you have nothing left to write for her? So Megan was responsible for this too. God, what a total hack. Julie is made out to be the sympathetic one. So maybe all my criticism of her was a little unfair. I have no doubt Cady will find work elsewhere.

Here assessment of AMC becoming something totally different is spot on.

It already has IMO.

That is laughable. There are at least 30+ more years worth of material for Tad and Dixie and they fucked that up. I knew Cady would crack eventually.

I vote either DAYS hires Cady or Y&R hires her. At least then she'd get some good writing.

EXACTLY!

We feel ya there, Cady!

That means that she's not the only one leaving...more vets being replaced with talentless newbies and the excess given to propping GH.

Tomato, tomahto...If you want to be PC about it, I guess you can call it "an early retirement package."

Too late. Besides, this show is hopeless as far as I'm concerned.

They care about the bottom line at the end of the day. If they cared about their audience, McTavish would have been fired EONS ago.

That blog kicks some serious ass, and I'm not a big fan of Cady, but damn...:D

LMFAO she thinks good ole Meg's is uncreative. She's right too. I mean look at what we get when MMT thinks she's being creative: Trevor in a freezor, a walking fetus, Tad and Maddman's killer, dead Dixie, stuff that's coming this week...

I've seen this coming with AMC for awhile, so I'm not at all surprised. :( Frons has his own vision, and nothing that we want, or care about fits with that.

It's a sad, sad day for AMC, and Cady knows it.

And I knew Emma was Kate. Just like I always thought, MMT rewrote it. Made her a Lavery instead. Stupid [!@#$%^&*].

"I remember in 1989, telling Mike to take his two Emmy’s and shove them up his ass, because I thought he was being an arrogant prick"

EYE-OPENING!!!

Wow.

So scandalous!!

At any rate, I'm sorry for what happened to her. And I think this should pretty much cap any "Dixie's alive!!" rumors.

Again...just...wow. She let it all hang out unlike any other daytimer!

    • I think all the suits are fit too tight, except for Jon Lindstrom's. DC lawyers/doctors are not all LA fashion elites. Yes, maybe Tomas would have a more modern cut to his suit, but an established guy like Bill wouldn't go around looking like that lonely button on his jacket was ready to explode constantly.
    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.
