Ciara Alice? Why not just Alice? Alice Brady. Gawd. But you know, if JERk was still writing it would have been so much worst. He would have made it a boy and they would have named it Zack Brady II. It would have been born on the same "day" that the original zack kicked the bucket (which I think happened anyway) and then little ghost zack would visit.

F*CK! F*CK! F*CK!

I am so sick of America's stupidity, and more specifically, DAYS' fan's stupidity.

This name is atrocious.

I hope Chelsea runs this little brat down before too long so I don't have to keep hearing this crap name for years to come.

Maybe DAYS will make their OWN choice...

Alice would be such a pretty, fitting tribute. They could call her Ali.

Remember how there was a voting over "Who's The Daddy" between John and Stefano being the choices to father Hope's baby? A couple years later, the kid ended up being Bo's? (was that a Dena Higley story? If so, that's the ONLY thing b***h did right at DAYS.)

No! Give credit where it's due! Brash & Cwikly were the wise ones to make Bo the daddy! :)

Ciara. Ick. How do you pronounce that? Hopefully they'll call her by her middle name.

Sorry but everyone, not just americans could vote in that poll. ;)

I think Ciara (prononced Kee ra, not Sierra like some around teh net seems to think) is a good name, I voted for that one. I would have laughed if Cassidy won!! There's already a Cassie Brady. Stupid to even have that name for a choice.

Anyway. I love irish names so I didn't find the last 3 names horrid at all.

I like the fact that Alice is her middle name too. It's a nice tribute to Frances!

Ciara stands for:

The feminine form of Ciaran, from the Irish ciar meaning "dark" and implies "dark hair and brown eyes."

It was the fourth most popular baby girl name in Ireland in 2003.

Ugh, I hate the name. Alice and Ali for short would be fine.

I hope they end up dropping Ciara or that Days does what they did with the father of Hope's baby and changes it because I am not happy about the name, even though we all knew that name was the frontrunner.

LOL, they're not dropping the name. They wouldn't have chosen that name as a possible choice if they didn't like it. Say hello to Ciara, everyone. She and the name are here to stay :)

    • Yikes -a Cane/Phyllis sex scene. Why was there no warning before this episode aired? And of course Phyllis had sex with her bra on.  Had to laugh when Cane, trying to think of Phyllis' password to sneak into her laptop, talks out loud so we (and she) can be clued into what's happening. What is Phyllis' financial standing? At one point she was wealthy enough to run a hotel-which she gave up in an instant(can't remember why-some inane reason) Now she's scrounging around for a job with Cane. The many residents of the GCAC who are living in hotel rooms don't seem to do anything to personalize their space-no photos, books etc. The GCAC must have a strict policy on that. Nikki did look good today. Still find her hairstyle a little dowdy though.
    • Then 87 is the year you're looking for. Vanessa leaves town in Jan 88. When I saw Jenny counseling Dinah about George making the pass at her, all I could think was that Van would be pissed Ross' latest fling was advising her daughter. Cop or not.
    • As much as I hate Phyllis, seeing Billy Flynn in those boxers briefs in today's episode, has me almost tolerating her. BF looks

    • Dear sweet June, you'll get it right eventually.  In the meantime it's a good chuckle.

    • Damn, Leslie went in on Shanice... poor girl! Leslie really can't handle stress or certain emotions well, she lashes out. I also think it's weird she wants to know so many details about Eva's love/sex life. Vernon was sweet to June. It was nice (realistic) to see a customer complain to her though while she's still trying to establish herself. I'll be that guy, but for me personally, my enthusiam/excitement over the show has stalled yet again over the last couple weeks. For the majority, it seems like we're in a holding pattern until Winterfest. It's like they don't want to rock the boat or do much until then, which leaves us in a quiet period here. Are sweeps a thing still these days? Seems odd that we're having a slow November. That ending was good, but I saw that coming... in theory it should have a quick resolution, but I'm guessing Leslie will expose it at Winterfest and it'll get throw out of proportion haha.
    • Yes. Why? I don't really care. Vanessa is also acting dumb, trying to run between tables, on a date with Ross in one room and a business meeting with Alan in another.  One of the few times Van is written as less than the smart woman she was.
    • I've been specifically looking for the episodes for Ross and Van together, because they essentially both raise Dinah at that period and the recaps around her typically avoid the Dorie years, the carnies, or Alan-Michael and Cam. I'm really just trying to trace a throughline between Paige, Wendy, and Gina. The last two are "easy," but it just messes with my timeline when Dinah thinks Alan-Michael would kill Ross. Then again, that Alan-Michael slept with his own stepdaughter, so...
    • Anyway...they literally mentioned the secret room today on Days and yes, this show needs a Kristen lesbian story lol.
    • Yes, they did a 'premiere' of Maggie's death episodes at the ArcLight theatre in Los Angeles, arguably then the nicest movie theatre chain in the USA. Plus, Suzanne and Deidre were in a ton of scenes together during this time. Whatever happened between them happened after 2004.
    • There are episodes with Jenny (Mary Ellen Stuart) that she was in pre-writers strike.. and I know that she lasts until at least August 1988. It's a shame that the show didn't try pairing her with Rusty since the two had more chemistry than she had with Ross and that he had with Rose.
