I agree with you there, they waited to long to bring this character on; it doesn't help matters that we still don't know who murdered Carmen. At this point anyone who did care about who murdered Carmen, probably doesn't anymore......

The Carmen Murder Mystery was quite a dud.....

Lauren has been written better on Y&R, not Bradley Bell's contrived, crap campfest called B&B.

Doug Davidson is being allowed to flex his acting muscle & I'm really liking it: "Shut up, Sheila! Shut up!":D

I hope Latham/Hamner KILL Sheila once & for all! How many unspeakable acts can a character perform until they're classified as being unredeemable? Sheila is a deranged wild animal & I'm glad that Paul locked her evil self in that cage. William J. Bell should have killed Sheila off in 1992. Bradley Bell carries the most blame for the destruction of Sheila. He turned her into a one note psycho.

Re: "Lauren has to be the one to kill Sheila" No, Sheila should be the one to kill herself by a mistake she makes. It'll be the best kind of justice: Having a deranged, evil woman die at the hands of her own stupidity.

What's with Katherine frequently calling J.T. Jeffrey Todd all of a sudden? Re: Phillip III Is Alive: Just what we need, more J.T. He's on his way to becoming a precious "veteran". Anyway, J. Cooper & J. Walton continue to impress! :D

More Leanna Love, please. :D V. Irrizarry was a delight. :D

Mrs. Martinez is the Abbott maid/housekeeper? She let Gloria in the house & Jack should fire her! Make it turn out that she's (Martinez) an illegal alien & have the authorities involved.

I'm going to miss Ashley & E. Davidson very much. Her scenes last week & this week were AMAZING! Acting wannabes, that's what you call TALENT! :D Bill Bell Jr./Latham: Re-hire E. Davidson. I have a feeling that Ashley will return by September as a recast. A friend of Latham, perhaps?:lol:

Gloria artfully continues to work my last nerves! What the f*** was she doing spread out on the ABBOTT sofa like she lived their!? Why the f*** didn't Jack throw her murderous self out the door!? Last time I checked, Jack DESPISED Gloria! If Latham/Hamner/Griffith play their cards right, P. Bergman can win back to back Daytime Emmy Awards ('07 & '08).

Colleen continues to be dumbed down.:lol: Jana continues to be intruiging (serial killah, anyone?)

It's confirmed: KORBEL IS A KILLER! He was the professor who had an affair with his student, and he killed her by staging it as a suicide.

New writer: Marina Alburger (1/9 breakdown). Joshua S. McCaffrey is a great script writer.

That could be - but after watching VI play Hayward for so long (and never seeing his GL work), I'm curious to see him play a different role and see his range as an actor. That's what I was personally hoping for - but I'm sure if this Y&R character is supposed to be the same type, then that's fine. He is definitely good at it.

I said it before and will repeat: The Lauren story is the one and only really thought through story on Y&R these days.

It is very realistic, Sheila doesn't play a pivotal role in this one: Lauren fears sth. could happen to her baby and who can blame her after that drama nearly 20 years ago? Add PPD and you get the mix. Tracey Bregman rocks this story. Another plus: right now I don't see a way how LML could ruin it?

As for the continuing mess-up called the Who-killed-Carmen-sh*t? Sheeesh! I haven't cared since the day after Carmen was murdered and with this kind of writing I'm pretty certain I never will.

ICAM with everyone who doesn't give a rat's ass who killed Carmen. After the first week, I stopped caring who killed her. It's not like she was a beloved character that had been on the show for years. She meant nothing to me, therefore I don't care who killed her. If LML was smart, she make it so Brad killed Carmen and he goes to prison for life. There she would kill two birds and dull ass s/ls with one stone.

You mean Nikki's going back to work at The Bayou? LOL!

I've noticed that spammers have been getting through and pretending to be posters on the board lately. This is at least the second time they've posted porn spam.

Brad is getting on my nerves...demanding everyone keep quiet about his past? How can they if he keeps bringing it up!

Snoooze city for me seeing JT/Colleen scenes....I'm waiting for her to 'break-up" with him again (um, that would be about the fourth time that she tried to, right?)

Cracked up hard at Ashley mocking Gloria when she was bragging on her little television showing...Bobble Head was bobbling extra hard today... Loved Jill sticking it to Jack too...Just the look on Jack's face today when ever he tried to approach Ash and she moved to the other side of the room...

    • I know, right. I after just re-reading the thread, I'm like ooppph!
    • Lulu and Dante were divorced before her coma, but she was still in love with him.  He just didn't know.  They haven't been married for years.    I was pretty mixed about Lulu getting involved when it was just a child out there in the world, but now that she realizes it's Gio I am okay with her telling Dante.  It also is her son's sibling.  I still think it's BLQ's choice though.  Lulu is in a rough spot because I think Dante will be mad if she keeps it a secret and Chase, Brook, Lois, etc will be mad if Lulu tells. Without veering too far into the classic area of the show, I had no problem with Robin telling AJ about Michael.  It may not have *exactly* been her place, but she could see how Carly was manipulating the entire situation.  It also ruined her romantic relationship with Jason for good.  Jason and Sonny were furious with Robin and practically ran her out of town, so I think we were to believe she was the bad guy.  It was a bit out of character for Robin to spill, but KMc was leaving the show.
    • Rewatching/binging THE X-FILES Seasons 1 and 2 (almost done). So much fun re-experiencing, especially re-discovering some of the monster-of-the-week stories. THE WEST WING Seasons 1 and 2 as well - so good to rewatch now with 20 years more life experience and understanding. ALSO.... lol FOOTBALLERS' WIVES Season 3, which is just as bonkers as I remember and so so so so fun. I had forgotten about that iconic season cliffhanger. Good times. Excited to rewatch Seasons 4 and 5 since I remember so very little about them. Hope you've been enjoying!
    • @Toups Tyler Topits listed in alpha order with the breakdown writers 5/12 Monday episode. O'Connor still listed as both breakdown and script writer. Kreizman wrote today's script.
    • Marland was long gone by this point.  He quit in either August/September 1982. I think it was due to letting the actress play out her contract and use her for party scenes and/or scenes with Phillip/Justin.   I was surprised she was still on in June 1983 myself, because I figured she had been written out before Pam Long joined the writing staff. Thankfully, having episodes uploaded during this period on Spauldingfield YT site has helped to connect some of the dots.  It looks as though Pam Long starts the first week or so of May 1983.. and in those first few weeks: Morgan and Evie were both written off and Lillian/Mindy/Billy/Beth/Annabelle all come onto the show.
