Loved Jarlena working together. I really enjoy them loving and fighting a foe side by side.

The end of Shawn/Willow was not pretty but it had to happen. But man what nutjob Miss Willow is. Yesterday she told Hope she LOVES Shawn. Huh? When did that happen? Why did that happen? And is it true or is she just another loony Jan-like creature? Whoa, Shawn pick your dates with more care in the future.

Loved evil EJ. He was getting it over on everyone...until Sami had the big ears! Oops. Next time keep your conversation pirvate EJ. I could watch him rage everyday. It's fun!!!

Good show for a Friday.

Still watching, but I love what is going on with John and Marlena!!!!!! Marlena just ran off while John is being held at gunpoint by Rico!!! I can't wait for them to actually go in and see Stefano.

Does Willow even have a heart? She just burned all of a baby's stuff at her father's apartment and she acts like she doesn't even care...

She is acting more and more Jan-like, I mean, making a petty excuse like Willow tried to do is just like Jan.

Loved evil EJ today toying with Lucas. Shawn yesterday, Lucas today--he must be planning on lecturing all the men in Salem. Thing is, what he's telling these guys is the absolute truth. Lucas has treated Sami horribly in the past. That's always been my problem with the Sami/Lucas pairing--he's no match for her! He's weak, whiny and judgmental. Sami needs a very strong partner, maybe EJ's lecture will be the jumping off point for some much needed character development.

Marlena and John were great again. I'm really enjoying these two and that's saying a lot because I've never been big fans of theirs before. Years ago, I was one of the minority who wanted John with Kristen.

But my favorite part of today was Bo, Hope and Shawn. They were such a family! First, great conversation between Bo and Hope. They made huge strides in restoring their relationship and healing the wounds of the past year. And then with Shawn, who seemed to mature lightyears in only two episodes, I loved the acceptance and forgiveness between the three of them. They have hurt each other so much but the love is still there. And my absolutely favorite part of today--Bo and Shawn having this serious conversation with a candy cane hanging out of Bo's mouth! Then to Shawn "have a candy cane"--like that's going to make everything better. And the smile from Shawn. A great father/son moment.

John & Marlena are on fire these days! Totally falling in love more with every episode they're on :) They're so... sexy. Not just looks wise, but in how they're protective of each other and how they're fighting for each other :) Marlena holding a gun on Rico? Priceless! "Wrong again Scarface!" and kudos to Deidre for her performance there and how she kept Marlena so in character... Marlena despises guns and weapons, but she'd do anything to save someone she loves, so that terrified look after Rico left - awesome touch. And of course some awesome lines: "And when you tell him Marlena was here and he didn't see me, that armoire will look like a palace to you..." - so awesome. Loved that little look from John to pull out all the stops. And of course "Remind me never to play poker with you"... ending with that frightened look was so awesome :) Stefano and Marlena in the same room again... Should be Joe, but just with the history of those characters, it's special.

I am actually liking Bo and Hope more these days. They're more normal and less angry :) It's nice. Didn't quite care for the "No, I'm the worst parent" - "No, I am" part of their convo, but still, they're quite cute :)

It was an awesome show-perfect to cap off this awesome week.

Willow is a freakin nutcase. She actually had no remorse for torching all those belongings. Good riddance. I hope the hell this is the end of her but I doubt it isn't.

The Bope scenes were so good and normal of them. I loved Bo talking about feeling like a failure. Bo, Hope, and Shawn were like a family, as they should be, and I loved it. KA looked so awesome with her hair pulled back. Loved the Bo/Shawn scenes too.

I love how EJ told Lucas the truth. I just love how both EJ and Victor have told off people like Lucas and Shawn this week. Awesome dialogue and I loved how he pulled one over on both Lucas and Sami. He is sly and I love it. That ending with Sami overhearing him was a nice cliffhanger. Ali looked hot today as usual.

J&M were awesome. Loved their conversation and, when she ran off, I was like WTH? Loved when she returned and pulled the gun. The scarface and armoire lines were funny and so was John's poker line. I got chills when Marlena told Rico that Stefano would be angry he didn't let her see her. Dee played that awesome today and that ending, even without Joe, was creepy and eerie as it should've been. Great ending.

Monday sounds awesome. Days is on a roll and what a week we just had B)

I can't believe how good todays episode was... of course, the highlight was Marlena's meeting with Stefano and it was soooo fricken awesome despite the fact that we won't see Stefano. Today was intense, the biggest shocker for me being spoiler free was Sami learning about EJ's connection! Brilliant! Monday's seems off your seat! And Max and Mimi's disspearance was always intriguing in yesterday's episode. This show is ON FIRE! It HAS to stay this way! Loved the Bo, Hope, Shawn scenes. They were so fricken awesome. John and Marlena were undoubtedly the highlight. Everything was mysterious, classic. A+ ALL THE WAY!!

Another really solid episode. Loved the Bo/Hope interaction today. And the Bo/Shawn scenes. Just love Bo period. Can we have him on every day? Just stick him in the background in jeans and a wifebeater when he's not needed. Oh, and bring on the Bo/Steve scenes!

Evil EJ continues to rock. Anybody else think with his talk about the importance of being a real man and his disdain for men with daddy issues *cough*Shawn*cough* that EJ has some whopping daddy issues of his own? Even through all the chest-thumbing and I'm-a-real-man grandstanding, I can just imaging him being reduced to a bit of a boy when it comes to Stephano and his approval. It's going to be interesting to watch this play out.

Man I hope everyone is telling all of their friends how good Days is now and that it's safe to come back. This week so deserves more than a 2.5 or 2.6.

Great episode today. Not much more can be said other than what's already been said.

I really enjoyed John and Marlena. The ending scene was perfect. Those fans that aren't internet savvy like the rest of us probably believe that is Joseph Mascolo's hand. ;)

Annie Burgstede's performance was brilliant. She played jealous and vengeful ex so well! Kudos! Encore! Encore!

Damn.

That is all I can say not only about today's Friday cliffhanger, but for the last two weeks of shows. Solid, on-point, and probably the best two weeks they have had this year, so far.

Bo and Hope are finally 100% back, where they should be, and are not the least bit broing. I seriously felt for Willow in her scenes, because she was so heartbroken. That was until she burned Claire's things. If she is pissed at Shawn, take it out on him, but leave the baby girl out of it. Maybe she's too far gone to even realize that. I also loved the fact that Bo, who had every single right to jump dead in his hind parts, was just a dad who loved his son. He knew the very last thing Shawn needed to hear was how this got screwed up, and he laid off, while Hope tried like she would to get him to stay there. She has came back full circle (Thank God!) and was great today.

John and Marlena have regained their wonderful spirit, and it's nice to see the women on Days not be damsels in distress, but strong women who can stick for themselves and get their men out of trouble when need be, whitch is what Marlena did today, especially quoting Clint Eastwood from Dirty Harry. Drake had John working on all cylinders, and it's great that he has his sense of humor back in full force. They are just wonderful together, and one of daytime's best couples. The Stefano scenes were chilling, and you just felt the tension and drama with John standing outside while she went inside. I also want John to beat rico within an inch of his miserable life for blowing that smoke in his face. You know John won't forget that.

E.J. is now a cross between Lawrence and Stefano. James Scott deserves an Emmy nom for how he has transformed E.J. from this suave race car drvier to the man everyone in Salem will be gunning for. The conversation he had with Lucas was excellent, because it was about time someone in Lucas' generation told him a thing or two about being a man. But, with what Sami heard at the end, this will force him to do two things:either stay this little boy who always needs his mommy's help, or grow up and protect his woman. Sami is now officially in danger, and if Lucas doesn't become a man soon, no telling what will happen to his lady.

And, as far as Sami goes........be careful what you wish for. You just may get it. She said after the Carrie stuff that just wanted two men fightine over her. Well, my dear, you are about to get your wish.

Days is probably the best soap on American televison right now. It's nowhere close to perfect, but it is now a galaxy's light years ahead of what it used to be, and I hope it keeps it up well into the New Year. Word-of-mouth will push it along. tell everyone you know.....the Days they remember is coming back strong.

And........I can't WAIT for Monday's show. I'm pissed now having TO wait!

I agree. Anne was brilliant playing the wackoooooo Willow. She totally believes in herself, but I for one cannot understand where she is coming from. Setting fire inside an apartment is just too over the top. I can understand her jealousy of a 15 month old and her mother though....silly, but understand it.

John and Marlena are better than I've ever seen them. Ordinarily, I love John best alone, but he and Marlena in their recent adventures are so much fun to watch. When Marlena was shown with her back against the wall after walking into Stefano's room, chills ran down my spine...and that spindly hand beckoning her, so well done.

EJ is the most amazing character. Stefano won me years and years ago with his charm, debonair ways and a plumb and now EJ is doing it, too. Perfect casting and writing in my opinion. I can love this fellow and hate him, too. His leading Lucas into his web and Sami, too was brilliant. His temper tantrum was wonderful. His orders were to kill John Black and leave Salem but he says he won't leave until he does what he intends to do first and we know that is to get Sami pregnant with his child (totally beyond comprehension to me, though).

Bo and Hope were delightful. My favorite scene of the day was when Hope and Shawn hugged at the end of the show. The expression on Beemer's face was the best ever, I think. He must be genuinely fond of KA and it showed so sweetly and beautifully and the uncanny resemblance was radiant.

And I can hardly wait for Monday's show, too.

That old wrinkled hand does not EVEN belong to Stefano DiMera! :-

Remember the scene in the jungle after Roman had escaped from his seven-year captivity and was following John and Marlena? Then he finally shot John and knocked him out. Marlena grabbed a huge weapon and started saying, "I'll shoot you! I swear I'll shoot you!" As much as I LOVE Deidre Hall, her acting sucked in that scene.

Today, however, she was spot-on. Even with their hilarious one-liners, they played it so straight. And I especially liked the "Remind me not to play poker with you" line, because it faded to commercial without any music. The music had sort of stopped. That's nice sometimes.

Swillow is such a sick, twisted bytch! To have such hatred and jealousy for a BABY? I hope the show will use this trash much sparingly now. Anyone who roots for her is just as nuts as she is.

Putting that pathetic piece of poop aside, Bo/Hope/Shawn were great today. Seeing Brandon stoop down for the group hug was adorable, and his smile! DAYS has a gem in this man. It was nice to see Shawn tell Bo how hard he's been on him this year. Let's hope this is the beginning of his maturity.

John and Marlena = awesome. Nothing much else to say.

EJ definitely has daddy issues. Have you noticed how all of his children don't call him father? I don't think I've ever heard Tony, Kristen, Peter, or Lexie address him as anything other than Stefano. Benjy can' t talk but I'm sure if he did, he wouldn't call him Dad either. Maybe EJ being named after you-know-who has something to do with it. And Ali's outfit and hair were perfect.

Well, some gossip/rumours have been going around about her being Jan...but I don't think anything has been confirmed yet. At first, I thought it was im possible, but now it looks like she is really Jan.

That scene where Marlena held Rico at gunpoint was FANTASTIC!!!! GREAT performance from Hall!!!! I love it, absolutely loved it.
