Dare I say I enjoyed Stephanie today..wow

I did too; for the first time! She was actually kind of funny.

For some reason, I love watching Darrin's face and mouth when he talks. There's just something unique--and attractive--about it.

Oh, I agree. He is very good looking.

Stephanie has been very enjoyable lately.

Thats because they've muzzled her like they would with any other over-barking dog.

I just saw today's show on SoapNet. I loved John & Marlena, and loved the interactions of Chelsea, Abby, & Stephanie, but sorry I just don't like Nick at all. Can't believe that I don't like a Horton. I think he is the first biological Horton that I have ever not liked.

I will say that everything else was okay but with the latest news of who is going to play Philip I have to say that Victor's line today to Philip was so stupid. I mean he tells Philip that he is off to Montreal to get a new face. He refers to Max & Mimi and says that the face they know as Philip is going to be gone. Well maybe the face of Philip that Max knew but whoever wrote that line didn't research or something because Farah Fath acted with the old Philip. I know it is not supposed to be taken so literal, but it was a bad line, and should have been worded different.

That line was an insult to the history of the show, and to fans who are familiar with who is going to play Philip.

these scenes were obviously written and acted prior to JKJ getting rehired ... I don't get the big deal here. This is the show that possessed someone, but we can't suspend disbelief over something as simple as a character having plastic surgery?

And everyone is assuming Philip will not be having the new-face now that JKJ has come back, when we have been provided with no such information.

I only wish people were more upset over them rehiring a horrible actor who's not up to the invisioned Philip we've heard Hogan describe, than they are over something as silly as a plot point on Days being dropped - like it's never happened before, and with far better potential.

I enjoyed today's show, but the sound that the fountain in the J&M scenes has been making the past few days; has made me feel like I need to pee each time I've heard it.....

Max/Mimi stuff was also good.

I like them together alot. It's kinda hard to watch or get invested knowing she's only here for another 6 weeks. But they were cute. Especially the line about Max watching Mimi's butt.

props to whoever gave Stephanie the line to Chelsea with things not working out with "Uncle Max" for her either. Love you Hogan!

Really enjoyed the Nick/Chelsea scenes. But I have to say, am I the only one who thinks something is a little creepy about Nick typing on the computer in the DARK at night?! It's like he's a sex perv or something!! Ew! Gross!!!

Said it once and I'll say it again: the show made a HUGE mistake firing Shayna Rose. they BETTER right that wrong immediately.

Days did right dropping her. I'd welcome Stephanie back with an actress that is not annoying, and a major personality overhaul. And a face that doesn't have huge puffy cheekbones.

I am loving this show so, so much lately. Being spoiler-free is amazing, too. It adds such a sense of anticipation to sitting down to watch.

I enjoyed today's show, but the sound that the fountain in the J&M scenes has been making the past few days; has made me feel like I need to pee each time I've heard it.....

Heh. I know. Someone could've turned that down!

The John & Marlena stuff has been nice as far as giving them some payoff, but what is with all the gasping on Marlena/Deidre's part? She sounds like she's having one continuous orgasm. "Oohhhhhh... Johhhhhhnnnn..... OHHHH!!!!!" I'm embarrassed to have it on while other people are around for fear they'll think I'm watching porn.

As do I

Today's show:

I really like Shanya Rose and it sucks she is getting the boot. It's not her fault how the writers introduced her character and ALWAYS having her push for mommy and daddy to be together forever every episode. I didn't like Stephanie around Max though and now that she isn't(thanks Hoagie) I wish Stephanie was staying around.

Chelsea/Nick/Stephanie/Abby scenes were refreshing. I am being nitpicky here but I wish Maggie would have been there to help them decorate Chez Rouge some. Other than that I just enjoyed seeing girls be girls for once. Just a couple of friends having fun sorta teasing each other. I like Nick sometimes and other times the character is so damn annoying. I like the actor, but sometimes he over does the geekiness.

John/Marlena: Sorry Linn and other big J&M fans, but I am tired of Deidre hamming up each scene. Must she always gasp like that, there is nothing on the show that irritaes me more than how corny Deidre makes Marlena sometimes. I really adore Deidre, but sometimes I can't take gasping and moaning. I will say the scenes were very romantic.

Seeing John Aniston so much is a treat. The man is just awesome, I can't wait for this story to get kicked into high gear. I am also loving Darrin Brooks who is very underrated as an actor IMO. If Mimi is to stay around I hope a recast is on their way. I just can't stand how Farah shows little to no effort in all her scenes. The scene the other day where she was suppose to be on her cell to Max was laugh out loud funny it was so bad. Plus can the bit.ch just lay off the lip gloss please.

Tomorrow looks to be really good........

Once again Drew (not DrewH) I apologize for having an opinion about Days. As to JKJ I have already expressed my problems with him coming back in that thread. I know that it does not have anything to do with what you say is that he is a weak actor - my problems are something else.

As to my point today, many have already said that the guy who is in that mask looks like JKJ already. I don't know whether he is or not, but whether this is a dropped plot point or not - if there was even a chance that they might bring back one of the old Philips it was still poor wording. IMO and I do have a right to those just as much as you do about JKJ.

Michael, lol, so true. Marlena really does sound, sometimes, like she's having the big O with just everyday conversation with John. Maybe it's a deliberate acting choice of Dee's; 'They're love is so strong, she's constantly aroused.' I don't know.

The only way I can buy JKJ as this evil Philip is if the writers give him Short Man's Syndrome. Don't get me wrong, I liked JKJ when he was lovesick Philip. But Hogan's plans for him, I can't see this babyfaced little guy being the "next Victor." It's going to take some very strong acting to convince me. The show really should have casted an actor with Kyle Brandt's brawn and the acting to go with it.

I was surprised that Jodie Scholtz wrote yesterday's script, b/c I really enjoyed yesterday's episode. The show met its objective, at least for me and I was pretty much entertained throughout the whole thing. I loved the humor injected throughout the episode with the Stephanie barbs to first Abby and then Chelsea. I liked seeing this side of Stephanie. It was very refreshing.

I don't know if I was supposed to, but I kept laughing throughout the Phillip/Victor and Victor/Max/Mimi scenes. Poor Phil, only had a writing pad and pen to convey his thoughts. Back when Sami was a mute, at least she had a dry erase board....

The story that Victor manufacturered and told to Max/Mimi was hilarious. Just so unbelievable. It just goes to show you how dumb he thought Max/Mimi were that he couldn't give it much thought to concoct a more convincing story to tell them... I loved how John Aniston played that scene where Victor was spinning his story about Phillip. VA has been outstanding the past few days. Just cold and calculated. Love it!!!

I really liked yesterday's show and if this work is what I can expect from Jodie S. then I'm glad that Hogie kept her on his writing staff.....
