Once again Drew (not DrewH) I apologize for having an opinion about Days. As to JKJ I have already expressed my problems with him coming back in that thread. I know that it does not have anything to do with what you say is that he is a weak actor - my problems are something else.

As to my point today, many have already said that the guy who is in that mask looks like JKJ already. I don't know whether he is or not, but whether this is a dropped plot point or not - if there was even a chance that they might bring back one of the old Philips it was still poor wording. IMO and I do have a right to those just as much as you do about JKJ.

For the first time today I was actually enjoying Stephanie.

It totally stunned me.

She was pretty good with Chelsea and Abby.

The show should have played these 3 more together.

Stephanie reminded me of Jenn from Dawson's Creek there for a minute.

Nick is just so white and nerdy...and Chelsea is dumb and hot.

Yeah me too, that's because they actually started writing her as a character/real life person isntead of one whining contoniously about her parents being together. Stephanie wasn't that bad when she first came on either. Never the less, let it be... she's gone...

I'm actually liking Mimi more too... SIGH... they've finally made her Mimi and not Me Me. If Farah does come back they should continue to write her like this.

I love the J&M in Italy. This is mystery and it's good but the show needs to go on with it and take it further. If they drop the ball here it will all be pointless.

I also thought Deidre was great... it's Marlena's trait. Viki has her's too LOL, that is Marlena's thing... Dee and Drake were great to watch today, it wasn't melodramatic, it was just the right tone IMO.

What persecution crap are you talking about. I did not feel I was being persecuted by you. I was taking offense at your attitude that your opinion about JKJ being a weak actor was right on, but my opinion about a line being stupid was not.

As I said I do not care what direction the story is going in, my original point was simply that the line was stupid. Esp. in regards to what we now know. That was all my point was.

I agree with you, Ponz. I continue to enjoy Marlena most in professional mode, she does have brass and her voice has an innate sophistication.

Only caught a bit of the episode, will have to watch the rest on Soapnet. The young gals are nice but they are still kind of ignoring the recent history to put them together all buddy buddy, especially in the case of Steph and Chelsea. I agree it's nice to see but doesn't make sense to see it. Oh well, certainly not the first time it's happened on Days, not even the first lately. And they are soooo much better than the '99 teens. I do think screentime is a big part of it, and better acting. My quibble is they seem still a bit high school and not very college ... I just came out of college, sure there were some girls who were all about boys and nothing else but not everyone. Oh well, it pushes the Nick/Chelsea plot and for characters still in the process of being established you can't expect much more.
