B&B: Week of December 4

It's a new week for the Forresters and a rocky one it is promised to become...

Stephanie drops a bomb on Eric and faces the deamons of her past. And we'll finally learn more about Pam and Ann Douglas. There's also sth. in story for Taylor & Thorne...

Let's hope for a great week with little interruptions of the dreadful twosome known as Bridge.

Looking forward to hear your opinions on the LA musings. :)

You mentioned it in the other thread, but I am also curious about a possible illness for Ann Douglas. It seems like an easy way to write that character out when the time comes. (Although I definitely do not want to shorten Betty White's time on B&B) And it would make the story all more the powerful, IMO.

I'd even be happy if they kept Alley Mills around as Pam. (Doesn't seem like she'd take up as much of the budget as White, as Mills isn't as big)

I'm all for Thorne and Taylor. Kick Hector out and to the curb for all I care.

Fantastic show today 12-4, I liked how the show only focused on Stephanie's storyline today, being that the show is only a 30 minute show they almost needed to do it like that today, so I was happy they did. All the actors today hit it out of the ballpark. I am looking forward to the rest of the week. :)

What I find interesting is taht newly developed urge for realism in LA county. During those therapy sessions Taylor was actually taking notes recently...

...and there quite some other things that strike me out as realistic (and hardly ever done on soaps though).

BTW: John McCook is SO good right now. He seems o be thrilled to finally get some meaty material....

The Quote of the Day: “I’ll be taking the company jet.” (That’s all very well and good, Steph, but since you no longer have a company I doubt you still have a company jet. I’d love to see you in Boarding Group C on a Southwest Airlines flight from LA to Chicago. Heck! I’d even buy your ticket!)

I loved Mondays episode and CBS even set Bette on The Late Late Show to promote the show last night. I was really shocked, it was all about B&B with a clip from an upcoming episode.

I wonder how Pamela will tie into all of this and if she will stick around longer.

Betty White straight up has the crazy look in her eyes...I love it!!!!

That was such a strong episode with five beautiful characters..."Pamela. Pamela." I love Betty White so much!!!!

I smell Emmy nominations for Susan Flannery...John McCook and The Bold and the Beautiful...I am so thrilled about this storyline!!!

I love this storyline. Flannery is wonderful. And Betty White is a true pro. I tuned back in for this story.

Que Sera, Sera... Whatever will be, will be...

I love that look Betty White had at the end of today's episode and Eric told her that she was going to listen to what Stephanie had to say.

I hope that Pamela will play more of a role in this story. You'd think there would be some resentment on her part towards Stephanie since she was stuck with the old battle axe for 30 years. LOL!

Maybe Pam will have a bigger part. It seemed like today she kept trying to say something. Eventually she did say that they all needed to talk. But it felt like she wanted to say more than that.

This is the best SL on B&B for some time!

Susan Flannery- sensational as always! :D

Betty White - wonderful, as I knew she would be. :D

I wish Stephanie's mother was becoming a regular cast member. B)

Anybody know of a site where to download?

Just watched Tuesday's ep. Absolutely loving it.

It's really, quite bizarre seeing Susan Flannery play such a vulnerable situation -- the only time I ever remember her acting with such fear was when Sheila was threatening baby Thomas but this is infinitely deeper than that. Her glazed face while Ann was rabbiting on about the past was so very realistic. I never thought I'd feel the kind of sympathy for Stephzilla that I do in this story.

Pamela could be fascinating too. How much resentment she must feel that she's still looking after crazy old Ann and turning on her electric blanket every night while Stephanie's been blessed with a husband and kids that she's never treated the way she should have.

Thorne and Taylor...zzzz. Could have been worse but it's a total whitewash. I'm glad Hector wasn't too predictably aggressive but is there any real need to keep him around now?

Really can't wait for tomorrow. I'm hoping they dig Patrick Mulcahey out for the big confrontation but again today's writer, Jim Houghton, did a great job. It's impressive that a newbie writer can flesh out a character history so easily. There was always a risk that it would come across as just too contrived.

Also about Tuesday’s show: Susan Flannery rocks. Alley Mills rocks. But most of all: Betty White rocks!

“Pam, why are you using my best china?” LOL!!!

“Stephanie’s family, mother...”

“But she cut me off for 30 years...”

Priceless, conversations in Chicago. I also loved the Que Sera-montage. B&B is just flawless and perfect these days. Except for that little hightailing of the company jet (Bet Nick is going after them with his boat; thank god, it will take him weeks to get to Chicago from L.A.... LOL!) everything is just too good to be true.

Did you realize that on the balcony of the Douglas mansion there is even SNOW!? The details...

Taylor & Thorne was so random and didn't fit at all. Hope there is still sth. to come...

Ann Douglas is so icy and deluded! It is creepy -- but in a totally watchable and compelling way!

If SF doesn't get an Emmy nom for this, I will be shocked. She is the best I have ever seen her.

There is a rumor on a B&B board I frequent that

RUMOR:

B&B may be looking to cast another sister of Stephanie's. Australian actress Rowena Wallace (who played Pat "the Rat" in Aussie 80s uber-soap Sons & Daughters) has been asked to send in some trial tapes of her work.
