I'm thinking this just might be the turning point for AMC maybe...if the writers do any of these stories justice. I am not going to judge anything until I see it play out on my screen.

Today is Zarf/Zoe's debut - as well as the Serial Killer storyline (which are not connected). New storylines are starting and they've got to be better than the stuff going on lately. AMC has slowly gotten better this month, and I'm hoping today is the start of a new chapter on AMC!

Jacob Young again is amazing - Loving his scenes with Bianca, even though Bianca really shouldn't give a damn about him, but you know Bianca will.

So is that Mama Slater in Zach's dreams? I don't remember her history - but maybe Zach's dad drove Zach's mom to jump over their ledge and commit suicide and Zach was too young to try and stop her? Maybe that's why he always has this need to help women in need (Maria, Julia, Kendall, Dixie, etc etc.). This is interesting!

If Bianca is going to fall for a guy it should be JR they are off AWESOME together!

Except that the ABC press release concerning Zarf specifically references future story with Babe.

I haven't seen the show yet but from what I've read on other board it did not go over well at all. I'll judge for myself but I doubt I'll disagree with dozens of people who felt insulted by the stupidity of it. I love the story idea and I know eventually they will take it seriously, but it doesn't seem like it's starting that way.

I don't see how Ryan is an ass for that. I think there would have to be alot more before Kendell's concerns are justified. Just because Ryan is spending time with Annie and Emma doesn't mean he will neglect Spike. He lives right across from her and I doubt that he is neglecting him. He may be bonding with Emma and Annie alot but that doesn't mean he is leaving Kendell high and dry here.

I can't help but feel that Kendell is jealous of Annie. She feels that she is stepping on her territory and she wants her and Emma gone as a result because she wants Ryan to want to be with her. That's the only reasoning I see in this. I don't blame her for it however I don't see it as anything more then her not wanting Ryan to move on. I don't see it as her doing what is best for Spike. I see it as her wanting Ryan to want to be with her and another woman coming in is ticking her off.

Yeah what was that all about? He can't connect with Babe because she is in "this place" that was rather odd. As soon as he saw her he lite up however once she asked him what was wrong he was put off by her need for words.

I guess Bianca is the great eye blowing soul he is seeing now.

Yeah, I know. Spike should have been sitting on Santa's lap. What is Kendall supposed to think after Ryan sticks Annie & Emma into what should have been a keepsake photo for her and Spike?

I'm surprised nobody's talking about Zach's vision on Joy Hawkins. This is the exact same storyline McT wrote for Adam back in 1998. I bet this woman's daughter shows up and starts gaslighting Zach as soon as he moves into the new house just like Camille did to Adam.

So far this new vision for AMC sucks, imo. If it doesn't change again soon, I think it will be fighting Passions for last place in the ratings by next summer.

Today's episode was pure garbage. The minute I saw Zarf I thought, he' not right for AMC. I can't believe no Brooke, Livia, Opal, etc but pleanty of ZARF. Woot.

I agree. It might have been watchable if the transgender character were related to one of the core families. Too bad they got rid of Opal because Peter Cortlandt would have been an interesting choice, imo.

Zarf made me .....the aura talk

I find myself comparing AMC's self congratulatory handling of Zarf to OL's matter of fact use of the fabulous Shequida as Wendi Mercury. Everytime one of the soaps gears up to teach A Very Special Lesson to the dim viewers at home, I just cringe.

Zarf had huge nipples. Kinda reminded me of Jamie and his milker boobs! YiKeS!

Anyhoo... I thought I was gonna barf with Zarf's Babe Propping, but he saw the light. That skanky wretch is no good! I'm just pissed that TPTB are chickening out under the guise of being "socially relevant" and "cutting edge" by giving Bianca a love interest played by a MALE ACTOR!

Anyway, I did, however, enjoy little moments like Zendall at the end of the episode where he said she looked nice and she returned the compliment. Thorsten and Alicia are spectacular together. I even like the little beat at the beginning when Zendall were getting dressed. Dare I say it, but it was like peeking in on a true married couple. What can I say? I'm just a Zendall fan. End of story.

Bianca actually supporting JR was a refreshing sight. Of course, it still had a hint of Babe Propping in it, but at least it was virtually undetectable, so I'll choose to see it as a blessing.

It's also refreshing to see Adam with his spine and testicles back in place. He can be in love with Kwak-a-ho but also remain intolerable of the bullsh!t. He's letting Krystal know that he's not crazy about Babe living there and I loved how he caught on to Babe's hysterics the other day. I also loved how he tired of Josh and kicked him out of his house. And when Josh made his feeble attempt at a parting threat, Adam slammed the door in his face! YES! There was a time when everyone was telling Adam what to do in his own house, and that was just not cute at all.

I'm beginning to think someone's ghost writing, because the show hasn't been this real in a long time.

Maybe change is afoot after all, you guys?
