Anyway, I did, however, enjoy little moments like Zendall at the end of the episode where he said she looked nice and she returned the compliment. Thorsten and Alicia are spectacular together. I even like the little beat at the beginning when Zendall were getting dressed. Dare I say it, but it was like peeking in on a true married couple. What can I say? I'm just a Zendall fan. End of story.

I loved that too, little moments like that are what make Zendall so great IMO. It really is like peeking in on a true married couple. Thorsten & Alicia just make it so real

Zarf had huge nipples. Kinda reminded me of Jamie and his milker boobs! YiKeS!

Anyhoo... I thought I was gonna barf with Zarf's Babe Propping, but he saw the light. That skanky wretch is no good! I'm just pissed that TPTB are chickening out under the guise of being "socially relevant" and "cutting edge" by giving Bianca a love interest played by a MALE ACTOR!

Bianca actually supporting JR was a refreshing sight. Of course, it still had a hint of Babe Propping in it, but at least it was virtually undetectable, so I'll choose to see it as a blessing.

It's also refreshing to see Adam with his spine and testicles back in place. He can be in love with Kwak-a-ho but also remain intolerable of the bullsh!t. He's letting Krystal know that he's not crazy about Babe living there and I loved how he caught on to Babe's hysterics the other day. I also loved how he tired of Josh and kicked him out of his house. And when Josh made his feeble attempt at a parting threat, Adam slammed the door in his face! YES! There was a time when everyone was telling Adam what to do in his own house, and that was just not cute at all.

I'm beginning to think someone's ghost writing, because the show hasn't been this real in a long time.

Maybe change is afoot after all, you guys?

Wow - I love your comments today ;) If you think the change is here, then obviously something good is happening. I like it.

I don't know if there is, but I agree and find myself rather shocked by it. The whole tenor of the dialogue, the atmosphere...something was really different and really REAL, like you noted. While Zarf is the exception, I feel a quiet. Guess it won't last long considering upcoming storylines, but it all depends on how they write it. If it's McT's default then naturally, they'll be little quiet or well...natural about it.

Love Dixie in the Chandler House.

Like the Dixie/Tad/KWAK triangle.

Love Adam Fuckin' Chandler back (and DC just knocks me out moving from Adam's cock 'o the walk stance with Josh to his palpable pain over JR's suffering).

JY, ER, SP and yes, Justin Bruening :o have all really moved me in the JR hospital scenes. It's a perfect and loooooong overdue storyline for JR.

Love, love, love Binky and Junior reconnecting over their Cheatin' Hos.

Loved the Zendall scenes (at the condo and the house).

Yeah, Zarf is over the top on Day 1. But their's an awfully harsh light on the character's intro and the story and I want to give it some time. I am thankful if it's going to give Bianca some actual story. As long as this thang ultimately stays one-sided, I'll see what develops.

Just color me sorta dumbfounded but interested. I ain't been interested in AMC in a loooooooooooong time...just a addict that's never gotten fully clean.

eta: I've watched Thu and Fri eppys back to back, so I may have made some comments that conincide with either eppy...it's blending together. Anyhoo, pardons for any ConFusion.

Well, hold off on the Happy Dance just yet, Always... I'm about to go upstairs and watch my tape and see if the strangely real and enjoyable tone of Thursday's show bleeds over into today's (Friday). And if it doesn't, I'll be back to my pessimistic self. I'm thinking that because of the new storylines, it's given the writers a breath of fresh air and reenergized their writing muscles. But as long as McTavish helms the team, things will get stale and redundant in no time.

Wow. Didn't even watch a frame of videotape, and I'm already pessimistic. I stillll got it! B)

I also have to note about Thursday's episode, that Ryan and Kendall's conversation was, again, REAL! His stating his need to find his own life instead of hinging his happiness on the periphery of hers. I actually almost liked Ryan for the first time in 8 years, because I've been saying that for the past year! Especially during the Mardi Gras Blackout Expose storyline.

Haha - well then I'll hold off on my Happy Dance until you post in the Friday thread.

I agree about the Ryan/Kendall scenes - they were great and I too was actually liking Ryan Lavery.

Ditto....he kinda reminds me of Adam and Liza's kookie sex therapist...Lysistrata.

Today was pretty entertaining as well. The real highlights were Bianca/Babe and a really wonderful sequence with JR in pain telling Adam to get out and Jamie holding his brother's hand as he suffered.
