Davetta is an awesome person, and just darn lovable. We have a very similar taste in music. R&B, hip-hop, old-school, alternative, rock, neo-soul (I Flove neo-soul music)! I'm glad to be a fan of hers. She's going to get her chance to shine one day, I just know it. She has a raw, organic talent that's going to take her places.

I'm surprised at how many times I've seen her on TV and movies before Y&R. I remember in the way too short lived and awesome UPN show "Platinum," a role in the 'Jack and Jacqueline' episode of "The Bernie Mac Show," the horror movie "Venom" that she mentioned in the interview (huge horror movie fan), that Vitamin C video, Boston Public....

And did I hear correctly, she did say she got a pre-nom for the Emmy and Image Awards, right? Woo-hoo! Good luck to her.
