They tried to replace him with cracked Connie and it was offensive. He was a beloved character and in his honor there should be no recast. Period.

If Passions wants to return to its glory years, how about they focus on writing and actually picking up the pace and giving us some payoffs. That may be a start.

I thought the show had already planned to bring on Cracked Connie before the death of Josh Ryan Evans. I could swear I read that the show was hesitant about introducing Connie because they thought the fans would think she was a replacement for Timmy... I'm babbling here. What I'm trying to say is no matter what the show intended, most Timmy fans did not take to Connie.

Yes, Cracked Connie was written into the scripts while Josh was still alive. So she wasn't really a replacement, but it seemed liked it.

Whatever the case-if they do this I will go against my vow to never wish cancellation on any soap and I will actually wish for Passions to be cancelled.
