OLTL Tuesday - Kassie Depaiva

Ok I've been watching a little of OLTL this week *Gasps* - I can't believe it either.

Anyway Kassie Depaiva has rocked this week - but today her hick came OUT while she was talking to Todd. I've never noticed the twang accent this strong before that she had coming out of her today. What was that? It sounds like maybe she had a little cold....so maybe that is why. But where is she from?

Maybe this is just normal and I'm stupid for never knowing....but that just grabbed my attention today.

And this Cole kid is horrible - and the fact that Marty and Todd are both portrayed by difference actors - just doesn't make Marty's return that worthwhile. I pretty much don't care - it doesn't seem like it's real for some reason.

Love David!

I also thought she sounded odd, but I kind of liked it. I think she may be sick or something.

She was born and raised in Kentucky. I've watched her since she was Cassie on GL and I can still hear her accent!

Kassie's always had a bit of an accent. It's the Kentucky in her. I read an interview once that stated that she took voice lessons to get rid of most of it, but it still comes through from time to time. If you think her twang is bad, you should actually visit the state sometime and listen to some of the people. How I managed to avoid getting it (to a really bad degree), I'll never know.
