What did I ask for? I came into this thread speaking specifically about the subject at hand, and others turned it into a Pratt-bashing thread. When it's been done for 15 years yes it's childish in my eyes, and I'm not changing on that! And that Susan Lucci's excerpt was cute LOL. I always found her little shade toward them "A Little Too Late" Her only time to speak up would've been much more effective while the show was still on air. And wasting her pages on Pratt and not McTavish (The Unaboration) was a little cowardly IMO. Pratt didn't do much damage to Erica; she came alive again under his pen so it's an opportunistic move by her To Me! Yeah, she can use he disrespects our cast and creator, yea but you choose now to say something? And where was this outrage when Edmund fired for not being sexy?Julia Barr let go? Stuart being killed?Lucci can go kick rocks. @Vee My perspective of this issue isn't the same as yours. I do partly blame Eden because I don't buy that she would have stayed around if the storyline had been better. Her being permanent on the show was a problem with me before Pratt was even hired to write for them, and she still wasn't full-time when they went to HULU, she did a fist full or episodes. As I said before Pratt was an easy target. This vindicated Pratt in my eyes. He admits this was a 2-year storyline and there's no way the audience could be satisfied with this rushed job. And I like the fact he wanted to let Reese be able to stand on her own as a character, so many couples on this show can't function without each other so I get it!

Roger Thorpe, GL takes the winning trophy with Shiela Carter, Y&R/B&B close second. Agreed! I always felt that story was rushed too. Angie should have also returned remarried to add more conflict.

@Cheap21 Hmmm. Thanks for posting. A very meh trailer IMO, Phaedra doing her same song and dance ( wisecracks, sexual innuendos, funerals). And I hate her dress in that cast pic. Looking forward to seeing Dr. G get his happy ending and meeting his new Bride. It wasn't enough of my Dave's Quad and Simone but I'm rarely disappointed in this show. They always make me laugh!

But see this goes against what you said though. He spoke about OTHER storyline options for Reese if she stayed around without Bianca and he ultimately stuck with the original plan. No. Because it's childish. Anytime someone brings his name up around here it's always the same tune. You suck it up! You guys are the ones UPSET that he can't write and ruined some shows, not I. That Miami trailer was incredible. POTOMAC I'm sorry I think Mia is a star. She's funny and entertains the hell out of me. She's a good housewife and stands out within this friend group. Lowkey Mia reminds me a little bit of Nene.

Don't put words in my mouth. I never used the word " Hate". I said he was forced to add characters to storylines who probably would've never been a major thread in the storyline. Everything that's he's been rumored to have done at AMC isn't true but he's an easy target and scapegoat.

The best thing Pratt did at AMC was Annie's crazy adventures and her tangled web with the Chandlers. JR and Annie honestly was his idea but of course others would get the praise. No! He was forced. He and Frons had early meetings about it which started the first wedge in their friendship. When Pratt first joined the show he was all about keeping Adam and the Chandlers and Erica upfront, and he had plans for Fusion but none of that materialized! He was only allowed to write for Missy Egan only because Frons liked her too!

@Vee Yes, he was forced to write for him. Actually, any head writer after 2003 had mandates about keeping Ryan, Zach, Kendall, and Greenlee front burner at all times. Zach is a character that Pratt would enjoy writing but that doesn't mean he didn't desire to write for others. I have no problem with being the lone wolf who likes and enjoys Pratt's writing and ideas. I thought Jamie Lunar rocked as Liza but mostly after Pratt left! It just shows he has good instincts. !!! Truth be told I don't think I would have liked that beat either. Now if they fake it/pretended to make Reese pissed and Jealous cool. But I wouldn't believe Bianca would go that far.

I have to admit it I loved this film. It unexpectedly became one of my top films of the year. And glad Margit finally has a hit movie.

True. I think it would've been a natural progression for the character to be more nutty than nice considering that young Bianca was played kinda bitchy! I agree with your whole post. If we pick apart all of Bianca's storylines we would find a lot of issues underneath them. In defense of the writers, a lot of them do use tactics of victimhood(babies and rape are go-to) to garner support for their heroines it's rare to see a strong & smart heroine in daytime. Reviewing all of Bianca's adult storylines and it's all heavy drama, so I do get the cry to see Bianca finally happy and married. These reunion scenes 😍 all things considered Reese is still my favorite Bianca pairing. Chemistry was off the charts and the potential stories were endless. Erica and Kendall hated Reese but Bianca was still head over hills.

I'm sorry it's a little bit of a nitpick to me. Their not the only ones on this show especially at that time to be sold a dream and given NOTHING, Debbi and Darnell had issues, so did Rebecca Budig. But I understand and value your frustration with his bait-and-switch storytelling and I won't try to change your mind. I just don't see it completely the same way and I don't think Pratt is the sole reason Reese didn't stay in town or return. As I said before, Pratt is already a polarizing writer so him being FORCED to include Zach and Ryan in his storyline did not help matters. Without those mandates to keep them apart of the A story would he even thought of Bianca sleeping with Ryan? Who knows. And for the record this Fan enjoyed the storyline overall, some things could have been better but I can say the same about many stories from Agnes Nixon and Bill Bell. As for the Vixen thing, I feel Bianca could've been written more badass. She's Erica Kane's child for god's sake, Christina Bennett Lind played her with more fire while still being the heart of the show. At the time I thought it was the cool they found a way to make the gay character the heart & soul of the show, but now I personally feel making gays (Goody-Goody) is a trap to keep LGBT characters from fully flourishing, in the same way they handle black characters.

@Vee Pratt is an easy target for sure. I'm not putting that Eden Riegel Burton on him, for whatever reason she never wanted to sign a long-term contract after the baby switch! She didn't seem full time with Prospect Park either. Even if the Lesbian wedding was better received she still would have walked. I don't need all his articles just the ones where he talks about his plans for Reese. And What's wrong with wanting her to be a vixen? That's honestly the way Bianca should've been written IMO. If the issue is about Bianca being an intro device I believe that's a nitpick and I know after all the soaps you have watched this isn't the first time you've seen it done, it's pretty atypical of daytime. I understand fans really wanted Bianca to get a proper romance and wedding, and I did too, but I also wanted the same angst and drama they give to straight couples. Let Reese figure herself out in other relationships on the canvas while bringing in another character for Bianca until Reese finds herself. And now we have 3 different types of lesbians on canvas. The same way all the rapist do.
