  1. The abcification of P&G/CBS soaps. What a mess!
  2. I know I'm one of a handful who got CDs from Martha in her chat room one night. I really like it, too.
  3. Singing as a means of grief over Rose's death? Didn't he die in 1993? Maybe I'm the only one who owns a personal copy of a Martha Byrne CD.
  4. Someone near and dear to me has just told me today that Kim Zimmer is one of her very favorite cryers! Goes along with that line about crying at the drop of a pin.
  5. For years I heard people say that P&G wanted to get out of the soap business. It sure seemed like they were doing a bad job of that if that was so, like they wanted to sell it but couldn't figure out how to. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vicky Wyndham said in an interview that what the problem was, was that NBC wanted to own all of the profits. Later, it was clear that ownership or partial ownership was a factor for NBC - with Sunset Beach, and then with Passions.
  6. @ScottyBman I didn't mean to offend! I'm just glad you see the charm in Ada today.
  7. Thanks for that clip! Loved Sorkin! Didn't she either write or produce
  8. Okay, so it looks like she is the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet and has considerable credits to her name.
  9. Who are her parents? Just curious.
  10. On the show I loved Gerald Gordon always bellowing Althea like they were doing Streetcar.
  11. Liz Keifer played a nun on GH.
  12. Oh, good grief. The most important thing Toups said to me when I was first totally new here was to just have conversations, to talk to people, etc. and that when I am posting about AW, I am getting it right.
  13. Quote: 2 hours ago, vetsoapfan said: Even more significant, the audience is usually much more intelligent that the idiots in charge. Soap fans are burdened with that reputation of stupidity, eating bon bons, and having a short attention span. Nothing could be further from the truth.
  14. Then, why don't you quote & post & just say: I like this. ??
  15. The name of the project, which is how I found it, is GL Find Your Light, and someone here thought I would find it in Feb. 2007, which is where it was. It was connected to the anniversary. I believe there's more up but this is suitable for an example of the inspiring work they did.
  16. GL Find your Light Feb 2007 youtube In her book Zimmer said that this was the best, most quality experience between her & Wheeler & that she was amazed at what a hard worker Wheeler was, etc. She said they had some good talks.
  17. That made me laugh out loud! First I've heard of someone not interested in My Lovely Ada!
  18. Yes, disappointing. I never said I knew what was better for anyone. I just had intentions of putting this all in one thread, which I did say.
  19. God, I wish I knew. I cannot remember. I'm totally blank & I cannot find anyone else who remembers either. I emailed with him & talked to him on the phone literally daily. All I can say is that it was something clever that was 2 words where each word began with an R. You know, like Roger Ramjet, or the like. If anyone remembers I'm begging for what it was!
  20. I really really hope the show gets a pick-up! after all, justy last yer they won mucvho Emmys
