Yes, the more she messes up, the better. I believe so, too. They are continuing the story but also sort of rebooting it. It was insanely hot. It left me all lusty. They've adjusted something and it really works. It's a little less frenetic and I noticed a lot of the scenes were longer than usual. And it felt really well developed and planned. I REALLY hope they keep it up. And Stowe just doesn't let a single line drop. You're right, she is easily on par with Alexis, Angela, Abby, Amanda, etc. by this point (Hey! They all start with 'A' LOL!).

That was a great season premiere. Nothing too crazy happening but it was a really tight episode--the whole hour just flew by! Jack is now a cop! And his partner is hotasfuck! I am hoping the partner will sex up Nolan asap. Victoria's shenanigans in the mental asylum were hilarious. And she walked out of there like a boss! LOVED it. I really like that Emily feels so lost without her persona that she doesn't want to abandon it. Gideon is yuck. Such great soapy camp when Emily answers the door and Victoria is there. And David goes for Victoria, who forgives him one second after his resurrection. Yes, baby. I guess she must really love him.

Up to episode ten: Bonnie showing Elena she's a witch was a magical scene. Really beautiful! I am enjoying Bonnie's journey. I am so pissed off that they keep killing interesting characters!!! First Vicki, then Lexie! I had my first legit "I hate Elena" moment when she suddenly changed her mind and begged Stefan to stay. What a pathetic bitch! I'm glad he turned her down. Matt & Caroline are love. End of story. Jeremy finding out that Tyler can draw and trying to reach out to him was fantastic. You can see why Tyler is the way he is considering what a douchenozzle his father the mayor is. Loved Alaric I am confidently sexy Saltzman coming to the kids' rescue and that Tyler still couldn't let Jeremy in. Holyfuckholyfuckholyfuckholyfuck Logan's back and he's a VAMPIAH!!!! That was my reaction. And for them to kill him in the very next episode!!! Godfuckingdammit already!!!!!!! His return was a beautiful cliffhanger, though. I'm loving Alaric. Where the hell do they find all these incredibly beautiful men? And Alaric is so nice and hot and awesome... that means he'll probably turn into an evil chit. Stefan and Elena's first sex was yum! Although I'm confused as to why they would use a song about cutting as the soundtrack. Do they not listen to the lyrics? lol Stefan's body is to die for, by the way. No pun intended. I mean, hot damn. It's so delicious that the sheriff trusts Damon now and that Katherine may be returning. Fun! Great twist with Elena seeing Katherine's portrait/picture and running off. The car accident was great (loved that shot of the windshield breaking off on her face) and the thing unbreaking its bones was creepy. I bet thatfucker is Damon, messing with her head. Don't tell me!

Yes, bitches are my life. Looking forward to what's in store. VD () is definitely what I'll be doing all night! That is certainly true about binge watching. It changes everything in terms of slow moving or bad periods. Thinking back on it, I don't know how I ever did some shows once a week. HOMELAND is a great example of a show whose frustrating aspects were significantly lessened with binge-watching. And, yes, spoilers are evil and a huge contributing factor to why TV is less of a fun experience. Again, thanks. I know there is no obligation for this thread to be spoiler free so I'll be as careful as I can when reading but it helps! I've seen people respond to someone they know is watching for the first time with all types of insane spoilers. You know, the "ooooh just wait until so and so dies in episode 8 and she gets raped in 10 and the earthquake at 15 but no spoilers!" types LOL

Godfuckingdammit Vicki is dead. No. NOOOOOOO. Too soon! Too early! Why turn her and kill her on the next episode? Although, with her addictive personality, it'd be a miracle if she ever learned to control herself. I never thought I'd see Diane Jenkins as a nasty, drunken, bitchy slore. Jeremy broke my heart: "Why does everyone die on me?" Aaaaw, come here baby, lemme comfort you. Damon did something nice? Wow.

Thanks for the welcoming posts, lovelies! Oooooooo! I'm excited. Hahaha, thanks! I'll keep posting & reading all the comments. Aaaaw, sad to hear about post Season 3. I hope it holds up. Let's see! And, Bright Eyes, you're awesome for being so thoughtful about the spoilers. I'm very careful not to get spoiled, since I don't know anything except for that major death at the end of season 5 (which I could not avoid hearing about). Everything else will hopefully be a complete surprise!

Started the show yesterday, six episodes in. Loving it! I realize this will seem ancient history to most of you but here are my thoughts: There is something old-school addictive about it, cliche and cheesy in a good way, and the acting (at least initially) of many surprised me. As I've gone on, Dobrev & Somerhalder have become more cliche and predictable with their performances but Wesley continues to be fantastic. Really feeling his depressive, trying-to-be-good, occasionally Imma-f.ck-you-good attitude. I did not expect the show to kill of Zac and Logan so quickly. With Logan, especially, I feel cheated because I was invested in him sorta using Jenna and also having genuine feelings about it and I felt we ought to have seen a reaction from her for being duped twice. Cheat! Some great twists along the way: Damon and Caroline, Stefan imprisoning Damon, the Sheriff, mayor, mother bitch and DoucheLogan all having a plan, Vicki turned into a vampire! Fun. Vicki is fantastic and Matt and Tyler also have sides to them and they have been peeling back the layers. Jeremy is one sexy muscly lost sad puppy and I want to take him in and protect him and feed him and then he can f.ck me. Damon and Stefan have me in a perpetual state of horniness and I'm not afraid to admit it. Matt and Tyler can get it, too. Bonnie's journey to discovering her powers is also good. I am happy it's being slowly done as an arc throughout the season and not a quick discovery. On the other hand, I'm glad Elena wasn't dumb for five seasons and instead put the truth together by episode five. Caroline is great; telling her mom she'd seek boy advice from her dad since he seems to be the one able to get guys So far, a mix of predictable teen drama/sibling rivalry tropes with twists I didn't see coming. I'll be watching.

There certainly wouldn't be any innate/organic story that could come out of it (except for a connection to CJ). Of course, he would be a character with history on the show but, with everyone gone, I'm not sure there would be a point unless they really committed to building something concrete and new for him, which B&B hardly ever does. I guess they could always bring Adam & CJ back and have them try to start or resuscitate the business but, again, not sure if there would be a point. Unless he saved Macy from the dead yet again lol
