  1. Brilliant, spoilerish, stuff. Obviously, don't read the interview if you want to be completely surprised. http://insidetv.ew.com/2014/06/06/game-of-thrones-showrunners-castle-black/
  2. GAME OF THRONES has become HBO's most popular show ever: http://insidetv.ew.com/2014/06/05/game-of-thrones-sopranos-ratings/
  3. Maisie Williams explains her thinking behind the laugh: http://insidetv.ew.com/2014/06/03/game-of-thrones-arya-laugh/
  4. Just a quick few thoughts: Grey Worm & Missandei got me right in the feels. So little romance in the show (one wouldn't expect to find it in GOT) so it stands out a lot when it happens. Arya's reaction to yet another, last-minute twist in her life: Perfect. Hilarious. It was simultaneously unexpected and completely recognizable when it happened. I don't know how anyone can think it's supposed to show she's lost it. It was, very simply, a "I cannot believe this happened. Are you fu.cking serious?" reaction. The ultimate frustration at crushed hope (yet again) that comes out in a weird, unexpected way. Brilliant. Sansa's testimony and last scene, were she emerges at the top of the stairs with the light behind her wearing that magnificent gown... Brilliance. She's learned how to play the game. From now on, she will start living instead of just barely surviving, and I guess that could take her to some unexpected places. Every time Ramsay mentions the word bath, I instantly get images of him fu.cking Theon. Which is probably what happens anyway. I've always thought Dany reacted too harshly to the truth about Jorrah, in the books and in the show, but it is an understandable reaction. Vee said that the fight scene happened the may one expected as well as not and it's totally true. What an electrifying scene. And those final moments... the squashing of the head, Ellaria's scream, the shot revealing the end of Oberyn, Cersei's smile, Tywin standing up and sentencing Tyrion to death, Tyrion's shock... magnificent.
  5. OMG You guys are killing me with all these GIFs And this GD/Taeyang pic is *this close* to being gay porn. HOT DAMN. WHERE IS NEW TAEYANG MUSIC??????????????????????
  6. These next three episodes will be unbelievable (assuming they'll do the things I think they will)! I seriously can't wait. If you are unspoiled/non-book readers, prepare yourselves. Boy must you ever.
  7. Tokyo is the chit! OF COURSE YOU CAN COME!!! Let's round up AllMyDays, too, and go drool over Taeyang.
  8. Absolutely! I love the way they touch each other & hug all the time lol Yes, my timing is very good, apparently. LOL OK, that's it, pack your bags and we're going to Japan!
  9. Right here, boo! HOLY MOTHER OF JESUS. OMG That is too fuc.king adorable! These two gave me ALL the feels!
  10. Oh!!! Wouldn't it be fun if Amanda continued to pretend she is Emily in order to figure out what David is up to & who he is as a person now? I can definitely see him siding with Victoria and helping her out of the mess, completely betraying the daughter who went to hell and back trying to clear his name. Jui-say!
  11. I was hoping they'd be smart enough not to undo his death. Hopefully, they'll make very good use of it.
  12. That would actually make sense, especially in the world of GOT. lol Wanted to add that I just love that piece they play during the Melisandre scenes, and Sansa walking out into the Vale garden was beautifully scored as well. Beautiful, beautiful music. Also, the casting is scarily good in terms of appearances sometimes. Not only has Sansa continued to remind of Catelyn more and more but Robin looked scarily like Lysa. Wow.
  13. Carl, you said it all. Apart from your dislike of Arya, her story, and her relationship with the Hound, we completely agree (right down to how gorgeous the snow and the castle looked. GORGEOUS). I was dying to see the Littlefinger/Lysa/Sansa scene and, by the Gods, old and new, they completely pulled it off. All I want from the show is to give me the episode 9 event(s) that I think they will and the season cliffhanger that I NEED, because that would be the best one yet, no doubt.

Ding Dong! The bitch is gone!
  15. I don't normally watch NJ but I am curious how they will handle the Theresa stuff, if at all. Naturally, I won't watch, I'll just depend on y'all to keep me updated through this thread.
  16. I was about to register my surprise. Uumm, if you're strict about the inclusion of any of the things you listed, then this show is not for you. Although, for a fantasy series, elements such as witches, ambiguous Gods, etc., are quite limited and introduced slowly and sparingly. But your definition of that may be different than mine. In any case, I can think of a couple of things based on the list you gave which would indicate you're probably better off staying away, although I would advise you just watch and decide as you go. PS. Does that mean no Harry Potter? I am having difficulty figuring out what is OK and what is not.
  17. I don't have to post comments, because you said it all! Can you say Emmy for Dinklage? I'll be surprised if that final outburst doesn't win him something. Oh, and I would hardly say Sunspear is a lone book fan here.
  18. Where do I begin? Conrad pushing Pascal into the helicopter propeller? Conrad going apesh!t on Charlotte only to be revealed he was being broadcast live? His calm reaction to his impending arrest and giving his blessing to Emily? Victoria murdering Aiden? Emily crushing the sh!t out of Victoria's skull? Conrad possibly murdered? Emily having Victoria committed and then walking out in slomo? What. a. finale. Two things I didn't like: David Clarke being alive (although a great little twist in its own right) and I really needed a big GASP!! moment when Victoria found out Emily was Amanda. Instead, she figured it out herself. I was waiting for that from the beginning and didn't get it. Hopefully, David Clarke being alive will turn out into something brilliant.
  19. The juiciness of this is giving me life. As much as I love Queen Bey and Jay Z, they were too perfect, for too long. Some kind of scandal was bound to happen--and, thankfully, they obliged!
  20. I'm watching the episodes in season 6 when Amanda was paralyzed and Kyle is having flashbacks of Christine. Shockingly, the show is suddenly more interesting and less boring. I've heard a lot of complaining over the years in regards to this Kyle story but, so far, it's been OK.
  21. Yeah, I should have known better than getting my hopes up it would happen but they got me. They were, once again, so close.
  22. I don't have much to add beyond Vee's initial post on the episode. It was terrific! I'll just do it quickly: Wow wow wow at Cersei and Margaery’s conversation. LOL at Lysa's screams! How much time does Jojen need to mourn and get over his brother's death? “A fortnight?” “That seems reasonable.” Heartbreaking to see Sansa so childlike and let down her defenses and then have Lysa go nuts on her. Brienne and Podrick=amazingness. Jon Snow fighting=sexy as all f.uck. Heartbreaking that Bran was SOOOO close but he and Jon didn't get to reunite.
  23. To be directed by Zack Snyder and released sometime in 2018 (as of now). http://insidemovies.ew.com/2014/04/27/justice-league-movie-to-follow-batmansuperman-in-2018/
  24. Very good episode! It was a surprise to see Dany's story open the episode. It was a lovely moment when she declared she was going to answer injustice with justice and you could just see the effort to remain determined, powerful. She's really trying her best but still is very young and knows very little. Jaime giving Brienne the sword and armor and then the oathkeeper scene really got to me. I'm confused as to why people claim they never saw anything between them. If you watched season 3 and season 4, how could you not pick up on it? lol I squealed at Podrick going along with Brienne. Glad to see they stuck with the way Joffrey was murdered in the book. When they didn't mention the missing stone last week, I thought they might have changed it. Petyr marrying Lysa is a great twist. Oh, I cannot wait for that dysfunction to hit our screens again! Olenna's (presumably) final scene was another diamond and how absolutely perfect was Margaery's visit to Tommen? They had to make her put Tommen out of her spell but without crossing that line and, indeed, great execution. Tommen (what a little actor he's growing up to be) played those smitten moments amazingly. Of course, I don't trust it for a minute. Something is bound to go horribly wrong. Jon is really showing truly remarkable abilities and I love how he's actually starting to talk more. Kit Harrington can give all the speeches he wants. Super excited by the stuff with Bran/the mutineers. The lovely Burn Gorman is the absolutely best at these types of character and what a horribly twisted scenario that was over at Craster's Keep. Really loved that Bran, Jojen and Meera were captured. And how exciting with the White Walkers!!! Since season 1 I've had the impression those kids were eaten or something but instead, we get this ritualistic scene and, suddenly, everything changes. Wonderful. I could have sworn Sam told him he saw Bran? Are you really asking why she didn't let nasty sociopathic pig Joffrey f.uck her beloved granddaughter?
