That is sad because I love Yolanda but after reading this blog, Lisa will always be my #1 housewife. I think it is Brandi's coke exploits that must be troubling Lisa. I'm sure Empress L has seen it all (and maybe done a little) but she also seems like a responsible person. And I think she finally recognizes that Brandi, with two small kids, is irresponsible.

I am right there with you. My dissatisfaction with the franchise happened suddenly, right around when RHoV self-imploded and RHONJ becoming impossible to watch. RHoA bores me now, although I know I am pretty much alone in feeling that way. Honestly, I am clinging on for BH and NY here (since Miami looks like it won't be returning) and the decline in BH's quality is probably the hardest for me to bear.

I don't think Brandi was being mean with her "black folks can't swim" comment, just stupid. The last two seasons she was a refreshing presence, but this season she is trying WAY too hard to be controversial/in your face and it is too much. I actually felt a little sorry for Boyce with the harassment about going into the pool (who cares? Leave her alone) and the name thing. Her name is Boyce, people! Get it right! Why Lisa jumped in to defend Brandi for being a fucked-up drunkard, I will never know. I love Lisa but it was unnecessary to show her support in that way. A better way would have been to take Brandi aside, give her face a few short, sharp slaps and brought her back to the table. Because all that Brandi is doing is playing into the hands of Kyle and Kim who specialize in playing that victim card. It's so funny how everybody thinks Brandi and Carlton have the hottest bodies. Both look like Eastern European gymnasts with bad boob jobs but IMO Duchess Yolanda in her simple, white bathing suit looked the most stunning. Speaking of aesthetics, Kyle should never wear bell bottom jeans because they make her legs look squat. And that lady at the store was really going heavy on the "gurrrrrl, you look so thin!" stuff. Is she an employee of Vyle's? I see Kyle is back on the Let's Get Yolanda train. She is so desperate to turn Lisa against her. Of course Yolanda probably said something in passing and without really thinking about Lisa, and Kyle took it and blew it up into a bigger thing than it prob was. I don't doubt that Yolanda can bitch with the best of them, but to take Kyle, who she barely knew, aside to bitch about Lisa? Can't see it.

Y'all are reminding me just how underrated RHONY was towards the end of last season. St Barts was epic, and Aviva so spoiled and deluded. I'd be interested to see how Carole is this year. Last season she was great, but she lost me at Reunion with her snobby attitude. I am glad Luann is still around, despite everything. In fact, I am feeling so generous towards RHONY that I wouldn't even mind if Jill came back for a few episodes. Just so I can hate on her.

MARCH?!! I thought it would be January! I don't want to wait that long! I know what you mean about the normal HW stuff. It's crazy how sympathetic I was towards Kim this week after her horrible behavior towards Yolanda last episode. I truly believe that she regrets not having a normal childhood with HS and college. It is ironic that Kyle did not have as big a career as Kim had as a child actress and therefore had the chance to attend college but got knocked up instead. And Kathy had already met her future husband by 15, so... Boyce is a bust. Kathy Hilton seemed very comfortable in her own skin -- she didn't seem to be playing up to the cameras or trying to win over the audience or cause trouble just to get some screentime. Her comment about what Kim was wearing was entirely natural and organic. Portia is just adorable with her face full of chocolate. Most of the RH kids come across really well, at least in the franchises I watch. OC, BH, NJ, MI etc. NJ's Milania needs to be made a fulltime HW IMO. We don't see the NY kids all that much anymore, unfortunately.

That RHoNY trailer was way too short!

I was dreading watching this week's RHoBH after last week's quacking borefest but, even though it was filler and most of the ladies were in their own little stories, I enjoyed it! Even though I hate the Richards sisters and think Parasite Hilton is a leaky sore on the groin of humanity, I would not be against Kathy Hilton becoming a HW and dispensing leopard-clad fashion advice. Despite it all, I think she feels very protective of Kim, unlike Kyle who is too busy telling us how much she wants to protect her sister to really do anything meaningful. Carlton with the cat, Kyle's dog -- yeah, total filler but I like the BH pets. Yolanda with her mom and brother, and with David Foster at the Hollywood Walk of Fame -- gosh, I still love this lady. LOL at Carlton's kids' godfather being Slash from Guns & Roses! Why am I not surprised? After seeing Yolanda's amazing infinity pool and flawless interiors, Brandi's empty, rented, poop-filled condo is a let-down. Ken is Up there as one of the best husbands in this franchise. I love how he defends Mauricio and feels that in his heart, he'd never cheat. Lisa's insistence that "why just don't know" in the face of her husband's declaration makes me just about 99% certain that the Lisa the Bitch SL is totally production-driven and that she is in on it. Which is fine. Boyce is still the world's dullest fembot. ^^ Brandi's Christmas plea -- Jesus. Thirsty much? She's so needy. Who was it who said "Never complain, never explain" ? If she's going to bitch somebody out, Brandi needs to grow a pair and stand by her opinion. I've never, ever seen Lisa or Camille hurriedly put together a vid in order to explain their actions. This reeks of of a lack of accountability more befitting VictimKyle.

Wow. I found it hard to get through this last episode of RHoBH (a first for me!) but hey, different strokes for different folks! IA with you that Boyce's attempt to make something happen with StrayHairgate was hilarious (unintentionally so, which makes it even more funny) but I still find her a Bore. So many diva Miss PRs, Miss Mexicos, heck, Miss Venezuelas are the most crazy divas of them all -- but Boyce and her budget beauty pageant that nobody has ever heard of was the best they could do? She makes me miss Camille all the more and even shed a little tear for TayShana and Faye. I truly truly truly hope BH is back and more fun than ever, but I am nervous about where this season is heading. I don't want it to go the NJ Season 4 route. I just do not have the patience for that mess anymore, and I don't think I am the only one. Bravo better be careful because NJ might be slowly killing the entire franchise. NY's reboot was super tricky as it changed the entire dynamic of the show. However, I warmed to the reboot and like the additions after the toxic previous seasons. Honestly, NY was never quite right after Bethenny departed and it was time to start from near-scratch again. I don't know what has happened since then because we haven't seen them in forEVER, but I miss my NY ladies.

Boyce is terrifyingly bland and a huge bust. Carlton is not comfortable in this shitshow and knows it. Time to cut their losses and BEG Camille Donatucci to return. Bring Faye and Shana back as friends. Hell, even Marissa would lighten the mood. Otherwise BH is going downhill fast.

Did I just lose an hour of my life watching RHoBH?! Let me recap for y'all so some of you don't have to: Brandi and Carlton are shopping for trashy lingerie (yes, there is a difference between sexy and trashy lingerie). Brandi is purring about Carlton has a hot sexy bod. I guess she's hoping to get Carlton to either make out with her or cast a spell on LeAnn/Kyle/Lisa. Kim is doing circus stuff. Well, the poor girl has to do something while Kingsley is gnawing through her rented furniture. I want to hate on Kim's endearing awkwardness but I can't. Her petrified smile in that "KIM" hand-on-hip opening shot makes me LOL. Kyle and Mauricio in Operation SaveOurImage involves lunch with boring Joyce and her husband Augustus Gloop [© Charlie and the Chocolate Factory]. Mauricio is slurring "I'll take a lie dee-tec-tuh test with any of dose fuckin women" re: the infidelity rumors. Who cares, More-REESE [© Drunken Kim]? Nobody thinks you felt up Lisa! Kyle regales us with her scintillating humor in the VT. "If Kim's going to do this (Cirque party mess), let's do this right and put one of the girl's in a cage with a lion." Then she puts on her best [!@#$%^&*]-eating gummy grin. Cue crickets and the sound of bales of hay blowing through a ghost town. Luckily for Kyle, Boyce (bore + Joyce) has an even worse sense of humor than Vyle. "I'm GOOD at JUGGLING BALLS!!! Right, HONEY?!!!" Jesus. Karent Sierra she ain't. Not surprisingly, Kyle adores this sycophant who will never overshadow her except in terms of hair products. Yolanda's walk-in closet is the stuff dreams are made of. Her two girls are lovely, too. Meanwhile, Ken gives Lisa a gorgeous golden retriever puppy! Gah! He is cute and fluffy! Lisa is going to call him Rumpy Pumpy. It's circus day. Yolanda shows up clad in head-to-toe green nylon. Unbelievably, she still looks amazing. Kim starts a big speech about Building Trust between the ladies (Lisa: "This isn't going to work with this crowd") and Supporting Each Other and Putting Issues Behind Them. Yolanda innocuously says "Let's just have fun. We're all grown women, so let's go for it" and Kim immediately snaps "YO-Landa! You're being rude!" Kyle looks on, smiling smugly. So this isn't a team-bonding exercise at all, this is another Richards Sisters' entrapment to make Yolanda look bad again. So now it's a big issue and Brandi and Kyle use this moment to passive-aggressively mean-girl each other. Kyle is still boohooing about the EVIL LIES Brandi spread in the previous episode, and Brandi does damage control by saying she was just giving Kyle a 'head's up.' Uh huh, Brandi. Then Brandi starts boohooing about the paps chasing her with the kids and how Kyle may have called her a bully because of what she said to Kyle. I am exhausted and bored just watching this, and it drags on for [!@#$%^&*] EVER. Lisa, who has remained quiet throughout, pipes up about how maybe Kyle should tweet that she didn't call Brandi a bully (sigh...) and Kyle goes into full Victim Mode. I wish I cared enough to shed a little tear for poor, rich Kyle. Boyce decides to make a stab at relevancy by going to speak to Lisa about Something Very Important. She drags her to one side, touches her hair repeatedly and tells Lisa she was Very Hurt by the fact that Lisa brushed her hand away when Boyce tried to fix a stray hair on Lisa's head last episode. However, Boyce is NOT a gossip and that's why she wanted to bitch Lisa out to her face! Lisa and says "We've got major issues going on over there. This isn't one of them, so don't try and create one." Boyce is left yapping after Lisa walks away, bored. In other news, Brandi's extensions look horrendous in her VT.

Well then those people were crazy! LOL I mean, everybody can like or dislike who they want, especially on a RH show. But death threats? For doing Playboy in the 90s? It was a some time after Nicole's death, too, it wasn't like she booked Playboy the week after. I just enjoyed what Faye brought to the table (pot-stirring wise) even though she is Vyle's lackey. Also I loved her speaking voice!

Ahh the days before we knew Kim was an 'alcoholic'! Medium: What are you drinking? Kim: (laughing nervously) Ahahaha I've had four cokes. Medium: You've had four cokes and you're looking that happy? Kim: Uhhh ahahaha. Medium: I beg to differ, ma'am. Proof, if any was needed, of this medium's credentials. Camille: So, now, how do you know Faye? Uh, who IS Faye? I know she looks familiar but I don't know who Faye is. Faye: Kyle: She's a very close family friend. I consider her like a sister. Camille: Oh, that's nice. Camille: Oh, wait, you know how I know her? I saw her naked in Playboy. That's how I know Faye. Camille: And I thought you looked amazing. Faye: Thank you. Camille: And I have to say I loved your spread. Lisa (spits out soup) Oh Camille. Throwing shade like nobody's business. And Faye killing her softly with her glare. Why the show never followed up on Camille vs Faye, I will never know. Faye should have been made a HW this season.

Watching the Dinner Party From Hell from BH Season 1 and it is so much WIN even after all this time. Camille, FAYE and crazy Alison Dubois. "He will NEVER. Emotionally. Fulfill you" --puuuuuuuuuuuuuuuffffffffffffs e-ciggy. I kind of like crazy-eyes Carlton, too. She's a character and that's a good thing on this show. I'm not won over by bland Joyce yet (though I enjoy her husband, Fat Gollum). BTW, apparently Carlton was once on Y&R?!

I enjoy Carlton throwing witchy shade on Kyle and Joyce. But IA that BH is missing Camille. Bravo underestimated her importance to the show -- they assumed people outright hated her in S1 when it was actually more 'love to hate.' She drove so much great story. But she got burned first season. And, you know, I'm sure Kyle is fine without somebody else besides Lisa stealing her thunder. FINALLY watched the last episode. I was nervous going in, mostly because of Lisa. I worry about the bitch edit Bravo looks to have given her this season. Perhaps it is not a bitch edit at all but is merely a reflection that Lisa has changed her personality for the show and is stooping to Kyle and Adrienne's game? I guess that's what I worry the most. That is the undoing of so many HWs. Well, I am watching carefully and, while I am somewhat biased where Empress Lisa is concerned, I honestly do not detect that she is any different (or faking it) now than in previous seasons. I enjoy her bitchy asides as well as her self-deprecation as much as I ever did. She is still Queen Bee (in the sense that everybody needs her to be Queen Bee so that they can try and tear her down), but also human in her reaction to everybody in the limo bitching about her. She pulled away from the group for a while, but she also didn't make a big song-and-dance about it or play the victim. *side-eyes Kyle* She knows the game. These hoes need Lisa Lisa LI-SAH to stay relevant. Kyle (and her medicated lapdog Kim) keeps trying to make Faintgate happen, but it doesn't expose Lisa's machinations so much as expose what a fix Dancing With The Stars is and has always been. The producers of that show would not have let Lisa bow out of the competition without their go-ahead, please. Yolanda is still made of win and I adore her. Brandi, less so now. She is so thirsty for attention. That was some fucked up [!@#$%^&*] going on with the real estate guy. Looks like it wasn't so much she was using him to get a condo as he was using her for sex and was too embarrassed to introduce her to his friends.

Ana Q really is a shade smarter than most other women on the RH franchise. I truly believe that she is over the show and has moved on. She doesn't need it anymore. I also believe everything she is saying about Marysol, even though expecting an honest-to-God friendship out of any of these women was probably foolish. I enjoy Marysol but trotting out her poor mom and ailing dad on an i-pad for relevance this season was too much. I think Ana should have called Andy and Bravo out for the editing of last year's Reunion. Instead of wagging her finger at the audience, all "Shame on you for believing I would pick on RJ or any child!" I mean, what did she expect? The editing clearly made it look like Ana had just disparaged RJ as "socially awkward." I will miss her smarts and clear-sighted put-downs. But she's right. The RH brand has nothing more to offer or excite her. I gotta say, while I love the shows, it feels like they are all out of steam and may be at the end of their rollercoaster run. I hope this is just a temporary bump in the road but first RHoNY (shelved for over 15 months), RHoNJ (which I abandoned), then RHoM (which disappointed), now RHoBH which is hurting my heart a little to watch... it's starting to look like a pattern.

LOL. They showed a pic of her first husband (the one who was meant to go to jail for 25 years for coke dealing) and looked like Ayrton Senna, incredibly handsome. Then there's Herman. Yeah, I donlt think there is much going on in the bedroom. OTOH, I think Alexia married the first time for love and got seriously burned as a result. She is probably willing to trade all that in for some security. I felt bad for Lisa because Joanna was vicious towards her, and she pissed off Alexia, too. But girl sometimes comes back for more. She needs to pick her battles because she is overstretched at this point. Interesting that Lea did not jump to LIsa's defence when Joanna was smugly threatening her. Adriana is stunning. The work she had done is amazing. Ana has fallen out with Marysol? This is why she needs to be back on the show. Really sad to hear about Mama Elsa not understanding what Reunion means anymore. Going to miss the Miami HWs, even though this season did so poorly in the ratings.

I am SO OVER Ho-anna's smug bitch ass. Even Andy was like "that was a bitch move" when she went after Lisa's inability to conceive. Can't stand her, and if I am Team Las Cubanas despite all their fuckery this season, it's partly because I can't fully get behind her. I know it would be good story but NO WAY would I want her stinking up RHoBH. It would drive Yolanda nuts but at the same time, she's moved on. So has Mohammed who is barely featured as it is -- if anybody would be pissed, it should be Mo's super-young, super-stunning official girlfriend. Thrilled that Adriana brought up the homewreckin'. This is why I love my crazy, sketchy Brasileira! Adriana was bringing the fight while, weirdly Lisa was unable to defend herself adequately. It was like she was shell-shocked. I think Lisa is too sensitive and may take this show too seriously. Ouch at Adriana having to apologize to Andy and Bravo about lying about her marriage. If RHoM is not renewed for another season, Bravo will undoubtedly base it squarely on Adriana. Lea also read Adriana this Reunion. LOL at Andy lighting up at the prospect that Romain might possibly be gay. It's crazy how much I love these women and yet the Great American Public just did not warm to this show. It was such a ray of sunshine compared to the clusterfuck that was RHoNJ.

Yeah, what was up with the whining about the Pantene comment? Was Kyle a spokesmodel for Pantene before they replaced her with Eva Mendes or something?

When Kandi went out shopping last episode wearing a muumuu top with that squat little queen in the hot pants and sandals, it all made sense to me. If he is dressing himself like a $2 drag hooker, what do you think his fashion advice is to her? It's a shame because while she isn't as fabulous as Nene or as model-gorgeous as Cynthia, Kandi has down-to-earth confidence in herself and a megawatt smile. She'd look great in silky pantsuits which give her tailoring and a waist. Think Kerry Washington's pantsuits on Scandal. High, high heels. Oh, and she needs more natural-looking hair. Re: BH, I totally missed that Kyle is now center shot! WTF? Is she pulling rank behind the scenes?

The two new additions to BH are so far, so good. They seem to fit with the group and the locale, and the manner of introduction -- as part of the BH Chamber of Commerce -- worked. It felt like a real party. From the preview, I thought I wasn't going to warm to witchy Carlton and much more to Joyce, but it was kind of the other way around. Mind you, I like how Joyce reminds me of Karent -- not because she happens to be Hispanic, but because of her smile. And her hair is EPIC. Like, telenovela epic. Kim looked fabulous at Kyle's party; in fact, it looked like Kathy Hilton styled her entire look. I also like her dog who is adorable. I suspect Kim's troubles with her children are going to be her SL this year -- it can't all be about her cute doggy. Yolanda is continuously fabulous and I love the friendship she has with Lisa... which makes what is probably going to happen this season so bitter. After scoring a hit at Reunion with attacking Yolanda, Kyle and Kim clearly have her in their cross-hairs and are going to keep peck-peck-pecking away at her, Lyme disease or no Lyme disease. And even though Kyle professes to hate Lisa, she is clearly jealous of Lisa's loyalty to Yolanda and wants Lisa as her BFF. In case you can't tell, Kyle still bothers me big-time. Her delusion that she is the main draw of this franchise is so fascinating to watch. She wants Lisa as her BFF but she is insanely jealous of her and feels that she usurped Kyle's starring role on RHoBH. She also plays the victim card like nobody's business, careful to appear the Bigger Person on screen but (with Faye gone) having her older daughter and others trot out the "Lisa's been so mean to you" stories so that she can look like the wronged party. Still, she is as much a part of BH as Lisa is and without these two facing off, this show would not exist. Brandi was at the party and stood next to LIsa but we did not see either women really talk with each other. Hmmm. Lisa is clearly getting the bitch edit this season. I was all ready to be up in arms about it, but then I realized that Lisa is happy to play the bitch role. She is tough enough to handle criticism about her comments and, unlike Kyle, she is not playing Poor Little Victim Me. Maybe it is smugness or hubris on her part, but I think she owns it and don't think she is much different from the last few seasons. Her sense of humor has always had bite. As for being the only bitch on the show, well, Kyle and Kim were more than happy to reference Lisa's supposed soft-porn (or three-quarter nip) past in front of the newbies and Ken Todd's best friend -- something else she has in common with Joan Collins, which is probably why she has never hidden it. Glad to have my fave franchise back now that Miami is winding down.

What the HECK is going on in the OC? I can't believe they let Gretchen go -- I mean, wasn't she sitting next to Andy at REunion?! Isn't that the Golden Spot? Seriously, though, why did Lydia quit? What exactly is RHoOC planning? Bravo knows better than anybody that replacing half your cast can be tricky -- see RHoNY which STILL hasn't returned from hiatus. Haven't seen RHoBH but I literally can't wait for it. Oh great, thanks for letting me know.
