Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Did Kenya get up to talk to Natalie? Ask her to explain herself? Sure. Did she run at her like a bull at a matador? No way. Even I remember that from Sunday's episode. I don't think Kenya is the end-all and be-all of the show, but I do think that people blaming her for the fight is not right. Apollo needs to be blamed for going completely apeshit on a guy he barely knows.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Thanks! I wasn't sure as I only watched the episode once and couldn't remember. I suspect Kenya got up because Christopher was standing up, and Cheap's gif shows her walking towards Natalie normally, not running or charging her. I wish Bravo was showing an uncut Pillow Party episode this Sunday!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I was convinced RHoA would gain big in the ratings with people channel surfing away from the Grammys. MInd you -- Sunday is the toughest TV night even without award shows. Re: Ramona & Mario: I'm surprised and not surprised. Not surprised he has a long-time mistress, surprised that Ramona didn't carry on until the bitter end that their's was the happiest, most fulfilled marriage on earth. TBH, I thought they came across as pretty well-suited and happy in their scenes together. They were always a united front. But BTS it was clearly a different story. Has Bravo quit filming? How bummed must Andy be that they can't incorporate any of this breakup on film?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Interesting rumor (but likely fan fiction): Apollo attacked Brandon because he is bad-mouthing him to Kenya. Apollo is Kenya's "African prince" lover who gave her the Rolls-Royce.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHoA: I only watched Sunday's episode once so it has raised a lot of questions for me. Namely, why on earth did Apollo attack Brandon so viciously when the argument didn't even involve him?! Firstly, Kenya was clearly not "charging" at Natalie. She wasn't even worked up that way. Christopher got up and was talking down to her, Natalie was standing up too, so Kenya got up so she could (I assume) be eye-level with them. She was walking over to Natalie but I highly doubt it was to physically assault her -- probably to shade her. Second, Chris shouldn't have grabbed Kenya's arm -- and good for Brandon for coming to her defense -- but neither do I think that at that point he was going to get physically violent with a woman. Thirdly, Apollo came out of nowhere and just went nuts. He literally grabbed Brandon by the throat and shoved him down on his seat. Then he started pummeling him, while it looked like Papa Smurf was holding Brandon down for Apollo's benefit. However, it could be construed that Papa Smurf had been holding onto Brandon when he and Christopher went at it and here he was trying to separate Brandon and Apollo. From the camera angle we got, though, Papa Smurf looks bad and Apollo looks even worse. That was some major cowardly behavior on Apollo's part, beating up a guy who is already being held down. Apollo shoving Phaedra. Disgusting. Honestly, this guy is finished. Finished legally, finished on the show. I hope their marriage is finished. The way he has been treating Phaedra all season (and especially this episode) has been with contempt. She seems pretty over him, too (although you never know. Phaedra seems like she is all about saving appearances. Apollo may be her weak spot in the bedroom). Nene on coke. I don't know. I hope not because I thought she was smarter than that (although I wish she could spell better). Thinking about it, though, could Nene's jittery attitude be because the producers have choreographed this whole event complete with pointed questions? And she has been asked to make it work? She decides to play the role of the MC of the whole thing and is acting out this big diva I'm-the-center-of-attention thing (right down to her treatment of Kenya) and it just fell completely flat? As for Nene blaming Kenya for the whole thing -- of course she is. Of course she is never going to blame the guys! And of course she is going to want to deflect any blame from herself for having fronted this party in the first place. This is what happens when production gets too involved and wants to push the envelope with the gossip. It's one thing for these women to gossip about each other, but they are now gossiping and accusing the husbands (not that I don't doubt the truthfulness of what they are saying), and it just built to the point where the men exploded into violence. You can't bait people like that, and I lay that at Bravo's door. They've had such a great season of RHoA and I'm sure they didn't anticipate Apollo going loco, but they were pushing for a big face-off. I mean, everybody except Nene and Gregg (that we saw) got attacked in some way. The questions went after Kordell (which Porsha side-stepped), they went after Kandi & Todd (which she handled like a pro), they went after Cynthia & Papa Smurf's sex life, they went after Christopher & Natalie which is when everything went nuts. I'm sure we would have gotten shade on Phaedra & Apollo and they would gotten into Chuck & Kandi, and Kenya & her imaginary African Prince -- if the fight hadn't broken out. This whole episode dropped hints about Apollo's attitude, about Apollo's "money," it was almost like Bravo knew the episode would coincide with the announcement of Apollo's indictment. Since he was arrested in September 2013, I wonder why all this was kept quiet for four months. Were Bravo blindsided this week? Or did they know what was coming down the pipe and edited the season accordingly? I think it is the latter. Especially with Phaedra showing up on WWHL in two weeks.

It's amazing how boring she made partner-swapping/sex bondage/kissing girls/pole-dancing be!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Fell upon Dr. Terry Dubrow's Twitter today. First of all -- I forget just how funny and personable this guy is. Secondly, I have changed my mind and think Heather and Terry should transition over to RHoBH. BH really, really needs them! Thirdly, Dr. Dubrow is filming a Bravo show called Botched where he and Paul Nassif fix people's terrible plastic surgery. Apparently Terry and Paul worked together at the beginning of their careers! Got to say, I am intrigued by the show's premise and the fact that TD and Catwoman's ex are working on a reality show together.

I *WISH* Charo was on this show instead of Boyce. At least would have some real showbiz glamour and a sense of humor. Which reminds me -- if Sofia Vegara is ever looking for work, RHOBH should snap her up.

Brandi -- and Yolanda -- came across very well in Sacramento. Interacting with normal RL people, Brandi can be very self-deprecating and human. Her relationship with her dad was touching, too. But then she comes back to LA and moans about Lisa. Lisa's AWFUL! She treats me like a child! It comes off as resentment for Lisa's wealth and status, and it also comes off as looking for something, anything, to blame her for. Lisa is an older generation to Brandi and I think she is naturally more maternal than sisterly with people. She was sharp with Brandi, telling her to "buck up" about her dog, but she was also in tears about the puppy. It looks hard but it is a very British trait -- the stiff upper lip. When things go bad, they tell you to count your blessings. Brits are actually quite shy people, especially about stuff like grief and love, and they try to cover up that shyness with humor. Boyce swooning about her hubby's Big, Strong Defensive skills was heavy-handed. We get it! Another HW who thinks her husband is her 'king.' Kim again half drunk in her VT. It's so weird seeing Kim being jovial because it always looks so forced. I liked the Kyle sedar scenes even if the were obviously staged for the film crew in order to burnish her image on the show. Still, Kyle did mention way back in S1 when she was on a plane travelling that she takes one of the Jewish holy books with her for comfort. And she's talked about Mauricio being a nice Jewish boy at Reunions. This show is seriously budget. Another warehouse gym?! Don't get me wrong, I liked the self-defense scenes and the guy teaching them very personable and good-natured (and hot). But the backdrop to all these "stories" is so blah. A boxing gym. A gun-range. Sacramento ended up looking positively luxurious in comparison. And Carlton yet again yapping about pole-dancing. We get it. You like girls. Correction: you like pole dancers. You love the female body. Honestly, Bravo cut have cut this season down to 8 episodes and we wouldn't have missed a thing.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I loved this Atlanta episode (OMG, I am still laughing thinking of them scrambling in their maxi dresses and wedges up that hilly driveway), and yes, Natalie was definitely hung out to dry. She should have kept quiet and played it cool but instead she decided to go after Kandi who gave her a masterclass in how to hand somebody their ass on a platter. However, as a single woman, I have to say that all the ill-natured glee at this woman not putting a ring on it... gah, not all my married friends are like this but one or two are. Something bad happens to one of our single friends, and they rub it in her face that she couldn't get the guy to commit and how her hubby is SO wonderful and would never treat her like that. It is that kind of smugness that bothers me, and Kenya, while single, really shouldn't have been playing the smug card. Everybody knows her African prince is a figment of her imagination. Cynthia defended Natalie because she was covering her ass for having spilled all that tea about her earlier. Peter really needs to sit his Papa Smurf ass DOWN.

This sums it up perfectly. TY, Cheap! Lisa shaded Kim in the best way possible on her blog. http://www.realitytea.com/2014/01/17/real-housewives-of-beverly-hills-lisa-vanderpump-explains-her-absence-at-kim-richards-party/ Kim really does look like a damn fool.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Yeah, but perhaps she's been burning through all that on... stuff. Adrienne definitely isn't coming back -- Andy fired her publicly, on air, which gives you some indication as to how mad Bravo was about getting threatened with a lawsuit over something which turned out to be a lie. But Camille... Andy still loves him some Camille, and I heard they were trying to think of a stand-alone project for her but couldn't find anything suitable. The fact is, Bravo needs her more than she needs Bravo. No pre-nup! But I keep hoping she will be enticed back to play the sweet-voiced bitch. Camille is a creative, after all. And I would love Mark from Sunset Beach to show up as her married boytoy/tennis instructor/dogsbody. David Foster does not come across great on the show. There is no denying his musical talent and all the Grammys, but he seems mean and humorless sometimes. I wonder if this isn't the trade-off that Yolanda accepted from some guy he doesn't cheat on her endlessly. She often talks about the young women in BH who would !@#$%^&*] your husband for a Gucci handbag.

IMO Brandi needs to go before Kim does. Truly, I'd rather see Kingsley the dog running free in the fields with a bunch of other rottweillers again and again before I'd ever want to hear the stupid trash coming out of BG's mouth. Carlton and Boyce can also go. Apart from this "bullying" thing, Boyce really isn't all that interesting. Faye... Camille... Taylor... bring em back, Bravo!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Memories. .. "The morally corrupt Faye Resnick." "Your husband will never emotionally fulfill you. Know that."

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Bitchy Camille at her finest! Especially when she pretended she couldn't remember where she'd seen Faye before... oh, yes. It was from her Playboy spread. Now Taylor, Camille and Faye. There are three women I'd like to see back on BH.

ETA: If I remember correctly, Taylor accused Lisa of selling stories about her to the press. Obviously Russell and Taylor were presenting a picture perfect image of their marriage in public. Lisa denied it but Taylor kept pressing until Camille told her to cool it.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
No, it was in Season 2. Lisa had a tea party for the ladies, and Taylor was pissed at Lisa because of what she felt was her condescending attitude. Personally, I think it's because Lisa wasn't always kissing TayShanna's ass, telling her how much she adored her, that she was her BFF (which seems to be par the course for the merest acquaintances in Beverly Hills). Anyhoo, TayShanna went off on Lisa about it and Lisa just sat there and let her talk herself out. But she just kept on rolling and her accusations got wilder and wilder until Camille told her "Be careful what you say, Taylor." But no, Taylor was all worked up and emotional, until Camille really shut her down with "We don't say he hits you..." And Taylor's horrible secret was exposed. Taylor stormed out, and later she and Russell tried to sue Camille in order to intimidate her. Crazy [!@#$%^&*] -- and it was all real.

I just watched Episode 12, season 4 of RHoA. Marlo NEEDS to be a bonafide HW. That is all. Amen!

Apparently it is Episode 12 of season 4. I think.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
She was out of it during last year's Paris trip, really out of it. And that is shocking about the crew finding her passed out, cold and naked from the waist down. I hope nothing truly awful happened to her (quite apart from falling off the wagon and passing out, of course). Sobriety is a long, arduous journey littered with "two steps forward, one step back" setbacks. I always thought her immediate sobriety after Season 2 (and the fact that she and Kyle refuse to admit that any other substances apart from alcohol are involved) was very quick, neat and pat when struggling with addiction rarely is those things.

ETA: I forgot to mention... chemistry between the women! RHoA has that in spades at the moment. By contrast, the chemistry between the women on BH seems really off.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Honestly, for me, the jury has already come in and spoken its piece. Boyce is not one for the long-term. Neither is Carlton. Kim, hmmm, we'll see but I think she's played out. Brandi is now self-destructive and toxic to the brand. Bring back Taylor and/or Camille, if they can, and keep Lisa (sorry if I'm being biased) -- if they can. My worry is that Bravo is really too scared and flip-floppy to do anything. They made a big change at RHoNY and it took 10-15 episodes for the new cast to get into their groove. Viewers fled in the meantime. As a result, meaningful restructuring of other RH franchises was kind of suspended (and I'm not counting RHoOC in this as they have proved that they can survive and thrive with some cast turnover). Bravo misunderstood what attracted us to these shows in the first place. They think it is fighting and viciousness between women. As a result, NJ has been in a holding pattern for four years, to its everlasting detriment. It is now completely unwatchable. Miami really went the scripted one-storyline route and it just did not work. I am beyond looking forward to NY but that could be a hot mess, too. I am catching up on RHoA this season, and I get why it is such a ratings juggernaut. The Savannah trip in particular had each woman with their own story, rivalries, some fighting, but also family, friendships, kindness, amazing shade and, most importantly, humor. I could watch for Cynthia's costume changes and smokey eye alone. Seriously, the best thing about BH this week was Kyle discovering Lisa's bra size. I don't want my fave, BH, to go the same toxic route as NJ and others, but it is getting there. And is looking increasingly budget all the way down that slippery slope.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating Carlton. In fact, I think on another show, she would be refreshingly honest, funny and a great archetype (even though I suspect she wasn't born with the first name Carlton!). However, I don't think she is bringing any interesting new dynamic to THIS show. BH feels very stale at the moment, and that's not Carlton's fault. But at the same time, I feel like she should be bringing something. What that 'something' is, I don't know. And that's probably because Carlton is incapable of bringing 'it' because she's just not that type of BH woman. She would be a fun "friend of" (I already like her better than Pam/Dana), but she's not a HW to me. IA that the show feels very repetitive and full of filler. This week, we had yet another pole-dancing sequence featuring Brandi and Carlton -- didn't we have one, like, two weeks' ago? And wasn't it more fun last season when everybody went to Vegas and had a go there? Similarly, the Richards' sisters bikini wax. I feel like this has been done before though not sure it was a bikini wax involving these two. Kim talking about her cute weiner -- I mean, it's sweet that they are getting along again, but the "let's bond like we're in High School" feels a little been there-done that-booked the reality show-participated in the scripted scene. I don't need to see Kim peek over Kyle's dress to see how her vajayjay is coming along. If this was the equivalent of Demi Moore shaving off all her hair in GI Jane, it failed.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Are you [!@#$%^&*] kidding me? [© Brandi Glanville] 10 minutes of Brandi barfing and retching in the bathroom during Kim's daughter's graduation? This is TV-worthy? BH is so damn budget this year. I am over the bully/racist/victim thing between Brandi and Boyce. It is quite literally the only SL on the show. Brandi just cannot own up to anything, and Boyce is playing the victim card for all it is worth. She clearly learned at the feet of the Master Victim herself, Kyle. Brandi & Boyce = a failed Gretchen & Tamra. Too true. If only they were as interesting. Just when I was warming to Kim beaming with pride over her daughter and joking around with her ex-husband, she goes and has to play the victim card herself with Lisa & Ken. "Lisa and Ken didn't come to my daughter's graduation party! Waaah! Just say you were busy and be done with it." Well, they did, Drunks. And they sent over a gift. No wonder Ken is so over all of these hoes. Can't believe Kim had to make a little drama-school audition tape about "Ken's tone." Sure she missed events with all the girls... but this isn't about throwing mud at Kim, y'all. This is about throwing mud at Lisa! Lisa and Kyle eavesdropping in those gorgeous gardens reminded me of old, fun RHOBH. And I can totally believe Lisa is a 32D... because I am, too. And not to shatter the illusion but, for reasons to do with bra architechture, a 32D is a B-cup in all but name. It really is not All That. Carlton is just not fitting in, even though I quite like her. And can we stop pretending that the "nanny" is the kid's nanny? We know she is the Gebbias' dungeon dominatrix and Carlton's own, personal stress-reliever.
