Yes, when it comes down to it, Adrienne was blindsided in a really bad way (and didn't Kyle set it all up for Brandi to tell the secret on camera? That particular chess move has never, ever been discussed since). However, sometimes that is the risk when you sign up to this -- people go digging into your past. People drop zingers when the cameras are around. It's like Taylor and Russell thinking they could appear on the show and keep the abuse under wraps. When Adrienne started threatening and suing Bravo and accusing people of slander and then going to InTouch and admitting that it was all true... well, she ended up digging her own grave, no? IA that Brandi could move on from Yolanda if she finds another rich female benefactor... except that Yolanda's probably the best she's going to get now. I think she will want to stay on Yol's good side, although at the moment that is also showing signs of wear after Yol's WWHL appearance.

Who knows? Maybe on Monday's episode there will be irrefutable proof that Lisa went to the tabloids with lies about Kyle's marriage. That she colluded with Brandi to harass Kyle about it on camera. That's what Kyle, Brandi, etc., want, isn't it? To show Lisa up as a hypocrite who denied Adrienne's accusation that Lisa fed information to Radar Online but may have been doing it all along? That's what they've been hinting at for ages -- we (the audience) do not know the 'real' Lisa, we have been taken in by a fraud, but now we will see! And we will understand. If that is the implication, though, I'm surprised Bravo hasn't released more details or teasers to talk up the finale. Queen Lisa is brought down! Instead, all we are getting on the blogs is lots of daily She Said/She Said stuff. Given that the ladies are still going at it on Twitter a week after reunion was filmed says to me that nothing was actually put to rest once and for all.

LOL, that's not what we are saying. I can see how Lisa's playing of the game would piss them off. I can see it. But you have to acknowledge the naked jealousy of a lot of the other HWs as being a spark lighting the fuse of going after Lisa. That jealousy has fuelled Kyle the eternal victim since season 2 and has now spread. RHOBH has been very polarizing this season and it is reflected on this board. It really is Team Lisa vs Team Others (Team BraYoKyle? Team BrOKe?). I personally don't think I have ever felt so invested in a particular HW as much as I have with Lisa, so ready to defend her, so sensitive to criticism of her, lol. I have my faves on other franchises but I sort of take them as they come. With Lisa, it is pretty unconditional. And I still think Ken is only defending his wife against the petty manipulations of the other HWs trying to discredit her (and trying to get her to discredit herself). What is he supposed to do? Sit back and applaud them? We will see what happens on Monday's episode...

Right down to the jealousy over VPR. VPR is at the root of a lot of this. As for Yolanda and Muhammed, Mo's steady defence of Lisa must be behind some of her resentment, too. As you say, I don't think their relationship is as perfect as it appears on TV, though for a divorced couple it is very, very good.

Yes, ideally, everybody shows for reunion, including the husbands including Apollo. Brandon needs to come too, and Christufuh. In fact, Part 1 should be devoted to the fight in of itself. Andy better be ready to replay clips again and again of Kenya "charging" Natalie and of Brandon being held back?/held down? by Peter. Oh, and they need to bring security so that things dn't degenerate into a hot mess again. If Apollo and Brandon decide to get into it, well Andy Cohen alone won't be able to stop them. We can get onto the Apollo sexting in Part 2, and the charity event mess, Nene walking, and this is when Marlo needs to make her grand entrance again. Part 3 for the leftovers. ETA: don't know how well this worked for the Shahs of Sunset, but do you think Reunion needs to be done at dinner? I don't, but I remember in Savannah the way everybody calmed down and got along when they put dinner together.

This RHoA legal mess is getting shadier and shadier. Apollo is going to bring everybody down that he can. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Phaedra forgoes Reunion, citing preparation for this trial as an excuse. She might even say she can't be in the same room as Cynthia and Peter for legal reasons. It's such a shame because RHoA has had one of its best seasons yet, but the momentum has built so fast that it has almost careened out of control. Obviously the pajama party was where everything went apeshit, but Apollo's legal issues (not to mention Nene's supposed "me or her" ultimatums) are such that I worry that RHoA is burning itself out and on the point of implosion. Reassure me, everybody!

So now Nene and Kenya are attached to a dodgy charity which defrauded the IRS and is possibly a front for something else? OMG, ratchet. Some of these RHWs are drawn to dishonest or unreliable schemes like moths to a flame!

Yeah, and then she goes "I apologize for being tricked by a horrible hater!!" That is basically the gist of her next few sentences. To be fair, the blog is fairly well defended in that she trots out some facts, but I think Nene has surrounded herself with Yes people and doesn't want to hear constructive criticism or tjat she is wrong. This means that she is going to make some wrongheaded decisions, if she hasn't already. Look at the way she shades her long time friend Lexis. Contrast that with Kandi who has people in her life (Todd, Carmon, Mama Joyce) who often push back at her and tell her stuff she doesn't like to hear. But she listens to what they have to say and even with Mama Joyce doesn't shut them down. She is able to weigh up all the opinions and options, and not just dismiss everybody who tells her "No" out of hand as a 'hater.'

I don't think Yo was outright trashing Lisa last season tbh. I think she made a remark that was blunt, but not a whole bitchfest like Tweedledum and Tweedledee made out. T&T jumped on something fairly innocuous (Lisa doesn't like to be criticized) and ran with it at Reunion.

I like your post though I don't agree with everything that's in it. And I appreciate that while you like Lisa you don't have crazy stan-love for her. But first thing's first: Brandi needs to get the heck over this Scheana thing. She has come face to face with her, what, two times? One was going into episode 1 of VPR, and clearly this was a contract thing which Bravo enforced. The second was Lisa forcing the issue with the engagement. You don't think production should be used as an excuse here, so I won't. Lisa looked ridiculous insisting on this. But Brandi looks just as ridiculous harping on about this all. The. Damn. TIME. She is looking for ant tits! This is an excuse to pick at Lisa and is not the real issue between them. IMO, the real issue is that Lisa and Brandi were enamored of each other quickly and suddenly last year when they were feeling a little lost and ganged-up-on by the others. But just as suddenly the heat of that initial love has burned out and they realize that they just don't like each other the way they used to and probably don't have that much in common any more. And it's hard. It's not easy watching a friendship you really valued evolve into just 'meh.' Personally, I think the real friendship (or frenemyship) here is Lisa and Kyle. There is something more than just "we were acquaintances" there, and Lisa is still stung by what happened at S2 reunion. Obviously Kyle cannot get over not being the center of Lisa's orbit, either. Even if I hate Kyle, I am into this K/L friendship. Weird. Is Lisa playing to camera? Sure. But phony? If anything, they are pissed with her because when they start bitching about her, she doesn't pretend not to hear or put up with it. She cuts them out of her life. In some ways, that's more upfront. Obviously, she'll make digs and throw shade but that's the RHWs for you. Even the way Lisa got up in everybody's face about Necklacegate is telling. I honestly think it's because she sensed the coldness from Brandi, Kyle, Yolanda, etc., and she wanted to be included in the necklace thing. "Me! Me! Don't forget about me!" It's as simple as not wanting to be left out of the group and trying to take control of the situation. Even if it meant pissing them off (which I'm sure, deep down, she realized it would). Controlling, defensive? Sure, she is all those things. But IMO this is what makes Lisa more human. Because she actually cares about these women liking her and she wants to be seen as the person who gets people talking again (like with Carlton and Kyle. She really defended Kyle to her). Yolanda is honest and blunt but she, just as much as Kyle and Lisa and all the others, has a brand to sell, and that brand is Lifestyle. So there is lots of "He-LLOOOOOOO my love!!!" and "here's a lemon tart I made earlier" and "here are my beautiful kids and our amazing extended family." I mean, I love all of it and believe it for the most part, but some of it is surely not all "diamonds and rosé." And with regards to the other women, Yolanda can be bitchy and stir the pot. She just likes to pretend that she's not bitchy, but it's ok. I will still love her. IA that this season should have been cut by at least 4 episodes. I would have cut six and made Boyce and Carlton friends of.

Thank GOD they are filming at Mohammed's estate again this week. Some badly needed luxury! Oh, man, what a classy girl Gigi is. What a sweet and moving speech to her parents and stepfather. I wish we had seen more of her this season and less of Carlton, Boyce, stupid Kyle and sour-face Brandi. LOL @ YoLemony practically smacking the cake away from Gigi's paw. Yeah, this is what a lot of European moms do. It's fine. They smother. They micromanage. And they are obsessed with their kids' health and that extends to eating patterns and weight. I went away to college and came back having packed on 15 pounds, and my mom literally sat me down and told me "Chérie, if you're happy as you are, I won't say another word, but if you're not, you need to listen to me when it comes to eating properly and taking care of yourself." Yolanda is obviously trying to preserve Gigi's modeling future (even though modeling is a crazy world) but she is also holistic and truly believes that food can change your health (which it can). "He-LLOOOOOOO my love!!!" We know when David has entered a room, don't we? Yolanda really wants you to know that David loves her Just As She Is! Side-note: I am totally loving Mo's fist-bumping butler Khalish. Brandi's mouth and tongue swelled up from an allergic reaction to... aspirin? LOL. Ok. I have nothing to say about Carlton, except that clearly Kyle's jinxed screensaver is a caftan-inspired fakery, and Bravo already have her halfway out the door if they're not letting her go to PR. It is really interesting seeing Vile go in on Lisa in the VTs, but when they are at Mo's party and they think nobody can hear them, both ladies talk to each other like really relaxed, comfortable friends. I hope they bring this up at Reunion. I also hope Trashbox and Cousin It got called out once and for all on their crazy jealousy. Hey, did anybody notice that Kim wasn't at the party but nobody even mentioned it? Yeah, me neither! Next week: I don't know if I have the heart to watch Lisa got ganged up on. Oh what am I saying? I miss the early season taglines of NY and NJ! These were tags that they actually took from stuff the women said. Like Danielle's "You either love me or hate me. There's no in between with me." And LuAnn's "I never feel guilty about being privileged." My favourite tag from Lisa is "In Beverly Hills, it's who you know -- and I know everyone." But the diamonds and rosé line is pretty good. Agreed Aviva's is the best because it is tongue in cheek. And Bravo knows the sight of that false leg lying on the floor in the teaser got everybody talking. The other taglines are so lazy. Kristen, Carole, Ramona and Sonja's especially. They all sound meaningless and ridiculous, and Kristen sounds downright embarrassed to be saying her's out loud. At least Carole sounded convincing with her "ass" read, god knows why. Ramona and Pinot Turtle Time? She might as well have recorded one that said "I'm a wino, y'all. Hic!" I have no clue why Ramona, as the last OG standing, is not in the center of the shot holding an apple. And why Aviva isn't trying to beat it from her hand with her peg leg. LOL, I don't mind Holla! anymore. I know it's dated but I like Heather, so...

They need to come up with better NY taglines fast. These are awful. Re: Atlanta, I don't think that production assistant is going to get fired. I think he leaked with the full blessing of True Entertainment and probably Bravo. This was to counter criticism coming their way about the episode and to shut Nene down who seems to be spiralling downward at a record rate and losing some of her ffriends in the process.

Mohammed shut down Yolemony Snicket gracefully and effectively, without even offending the mother of his children but also without conceding to what she was really trying to use their breakfast for. I keep watching with eyes peeled to gauge any HINT of Undercover Evil Mastermind (aka Lisa's) nefarious plot. Apart from super-shading Stassi about collecting the jewels and summoning her housekeeper Rocio to bring Prince Giggy to her, I just cannot see what the fuss is about. The inter-cutting between Lisa's glam photoshoot and Kyle and Brandi trashtalking Lisa was epic. Brandi saying that Lisa confided in her about how angry she was at Adrienne, but she really shouldn't have (no kidding!), because she knows Brandi has a big mouth and consequently was meticulously planting the seeds of Adrienne's destruction right then and there was just... OMG! Lisa was using Brandi's mouth as a weapon! Brandi had no control over her own body! Lisa willed her to do it! And Cedric has visa issues -- it must be Lisa's fault too! (It can't positively be because he blackmailed Ken for money, can it?!) I can't with this bullshit. Next week: Lisa is responsible for the polar vortex. SPOT ON. Worse, a willful ignorant pretending to be a sophisticate. She has no interests beyond being Mauricio's wife and hair grooming. The sad thing is, she knows exceedingly little but thinks she knows it all. A legend in her own mind. It is cringe-making to watch her smug it up over her own jokes/shade in her VTs.

We're just going to have to agree to disagree. If we're allowed to talk about production, point out when production is really obviously messing with stuff BTS, why can't Lisa, Brandi or anybody else? We all know it's happening, why pretend it isn't? As for VPR, Lisa probably realizes that she's staffed her restaurants with a bunch of airheads who keep stomping out in the middle of service over gf/bf drama and it is costing her money and making for more work. So she's over it. My comment was based on the opinion that Lisa looks amazing on VPR and tired on BH, but maybe that's the dark lighting at SUR. Wait, Stassi won't be back next season? That's a shame. She's the only one on the show who can string an interesting VT together. I hope Jax will be back though. Despite being a douche, I think he is hilarious. Like, legit funny.
