Sorry, I promise not to spam this thread too much, but here is video of Taeyang at Wonder Live singing 14AM, Body and Love You to Death. He also takes a few fan questions. I enjoy Shannon for what she provides to the show -- story, drama and the appropriate amount of cray. But Team Heather all the way on this one. Shannon has picked up that Tamra and Vicki are/were on the outs with Heather, so now she is targeting Heather as the "bad guy" to make herself look like the poor victim in their eyes. Nevermind that Heather couldn't give a flying !@#$%^&*] about her and probably goes out of her way to avoid her. I cannot get over how Shannon left her precious children just to "confront" Heather in her own home about something Tamra did. No wonder Heather kicked her out. I would have, too, and not as elegantly and efficiently as Heather. OMG @ Tery giggling in the background of the fight, and then clearing up the drinks at the end as a hint to Shannon to GTFO. Shannon is now using the incident to get her bored husband and the HWs to feel sorry for her. I can't with this ho boohooing about how traumatic it was for her to get asked to leave somebody's house blah blah it has never happened to her before blah blah she now needs calming oils to get over the whole experience. Stop milking this non-event, you passive-aggressive loon. In other news, Tamra's thirst for story is getting desperate. Nice way to admit to having told Heather but still throwing her under the bus for "being so mean." And Vicki & Brooks are so fake and not-genuine in their interactions, it literally makes my skin crawl. Vicki probably can't pick up on it because she's so busy obsessing over herself. Brooks groaning on the massage table, barf.

I feel like Dongwoon had some hormonal growth spurt in the last year or so and suddenly he's Manly McHunky. Yoseob looks a lot more delicate next to him. It's kind of like how EXO's entire maknae line (Tao, Kai, Sehun) now tower over D.O. and Suho. (lol) Anyhoo, Dongwoon looks like he could definitely get it this year, lol. Especially after the clip in your avatar. Fangirls be fanning themselves! Of course, Junhyung and Yoseob would always be getting it because they are so darned cute. I really like the second pic of Junhyung btw. LOL at Suho and Bacon Baekhyun hosting Inkigayo wearing their little devil horns! The skirt on Suho, damn. I like when these groups get to MC and interact with other groups not on their record label. It is very noticeable, though, how comfortable Beast are with each other and themselves, especialy compared with EXO's more rigid interactions. LOL, and I will never get tired of the bowing to the TV audience. It's like "Thank you for considering us to be your next download purchase!" Damn, Hyunseung looks pissed in that shot! I would be too if the odds were stacked against me like that! Taeyang vs. Beast vs. Taeyang. I hadn't even noticed that! Unfair, Inkigayo! Here is a subbed (yay!) Beast TV interview that went out yesterday for their comeback: http://dai.ly/x202u4k Yes, I've been hearing a lot of that, too. EXO-M bonded precisely because they were looked down upon. And there has always been a sneaking suspicion that SM let members of EXO-K do more promotions and solo projects and turned down a lot of EXO-M offers, hence why Kris got pissed and walked. Now they seem to be letting Luhan, Tao and Lay branch out more and do TV stuff in China during the off season. On EXO Showtime, you could see there was "teasing" of Tao and Kris for their Korean speaking skills (led in part by Baek, I have to say), and there was also the teasing of Tao and Kai for their "dark skin" (I don't even understand). Kris always looked angry every time the skin references came up, like he couldn't believe what he was hearing. I never saw the Chinese members tease Chen, Xiumin, D.O. or Baek on their Mandarin. In fact, I saw lots of Luhan gently correcting their pronunciation when it came to songs and walking them through the lyrics (in a nice way) until it came out right. I heard Kai was a brat who has got into fights and likes to party sometimes. I think he was SM's golden boy for a long time. When he was a kid, he won their youth contest for best new talent -- he was a ballet and jazz dance prodigy, apparently. He was also good-looking, so SM figured they had a winner. SM trained him for a long time and when EXO finally debuted, Kai was the first teaser and he had by far the most -- 12. It was a way of drawing in the fans. Having said that, there are moments when he appears extremely shy and quiet so maybe there is another side to him. Yoseob is the stunning male diva of the group. He looks great in shorts (!!!! can't believe I just typed that!), the shoes and even rocking a frilly blouse. He is such the dandy. Junhyung looks better hairwise, too. Pink Hair getting a lot of cheers -- he must be considered the resident Heartbreaker this year. He looks much older and manlier than the others, but apparently he's the maknae of the group? Hyunseung looks ok singing We Up (which has a sick hook) but Bandana Hair came out with Good Night (a song I enjoy more and more) and those jeans went from "ripped" to "Aviva was wearing me when she got her leg caught in that slicing machine on the farm." On the same show, Taeyang got voted #1 song and did a live performance of Eyes, Nose, Lips, Ears, Mouth, Chin... http://omonatheydidnt.livejournal.com/13477369.html#comments#comments I really love this ballad. It was a smart move of YG to release it first because Koreans love a sad, slow love song. It was well done. They have a version with Growl, too, involving little kids from the junior Tae kwon do club. Yeah, I saw the pics. It was a pre-debut Baek and, well, haven't we all done stupid [!@#$%^&*] as teenagers? I think that's a controversy that will die down. The dating scandal OTOH... you can bet every boy and gorl band in K Pop is watching that closely right now. SM Entertainment gambled when they admitted to Baekhyun and Taeyeon dating because so many of these groups pretend that they don't date, that everybody is (a) straight, (b ) innocent virgins, (c ) they are too busy working to date, and (d ) they care and "respect" their fans too much to date. These are some pretty darn ridiculous standards to live up to. They do the fan service stuff because it makes the fangirls feel safe seeing two boys cuddling, lol. At least it's not a pretty girl! Unrealistic expectations, and now the crazy fans (the sasaengs) are literally checking out of the official fanclubs and asking for refunds on concert tickets. They are also sending threats and insults to Taeyeon's instagram, including "NO! Why did you break up Chanyeol and Baekhyun?!!!!" (lol) SM must be a little bit worried because they encouraged this crazy fangirl obsession for over two years, to the detriment of EXO's safety even. OMG. SUCH karma coming back to bite Tamra in the ass! Every season she has turned on some other HW while manipulating things to make it look like they were in the wrong and she was just standing her ground. I'm surprised the other HWs have let her get away with it for so long, but that's probably because she had Vicki as her guard dog/a posse of other women in her corner. This season, the Bitch Edit was meant for Heather. The problem is, Heather owns her judgey bitchiness. It is who she is. Plus the fact that she is smarter than the average RH of the OC, and suddenly... Tamra is seeing that Bitch Edit shift to her. Through nobody's fault but her own! She completely overreached, threw out her usual "So-and-so has a stick up their ass, I'm just keepin' it real" boomerang, Heather ducked, and now the boomerang is heading straight back for Tamra's face at 200 mph. Couldn't happen to a more deserving ho! Plus Eddie looks like he is over Tamra's shtick. Bet he wishes the focus was CUT this season, too. P.S.: Terry can do no wrong right now IMO. Love him. P.P.S.: Shannon is cray but in a relatable way. Even though I hate how she has alligned herself with Tamra, the breakdown in her marriage seems very raw and real to watch. Thanks for understanding! BTW, are you watching Showtime with Beast this season? I think it was recently completed and might check it and Roommate out once things calm down a little. Um, CL is 23?! If you hadn't shown me those "5am no makeup" pictures of the girls, I wouldn't be so surprised! Actually, it's more the fact that CL is the undisputed leader of the group (and possibly the tallest) which made me think she was eldest. Korea has an obsession with age as status. It means that they (I assume) treat their older people very well, which is excellent and just how it should be. But in some schools and K Pop groups, age/being the "hyung" or "unni" of a group can sometimes be used as an excuse to bully the others. I'm glad 2NE1 have shaken that off and seemed to go with the flow. All four women are so different anyway, they all seem pretty secure with themselves. BTW CL in the top picture looks pretty young there without any makeup so maybe I should eat my words. In other news, apparently Minzy sat some of her second-year university finals. Holy [!@#$%^&*]. First of all, I am really sorry for not responding. I have work all atop of me and looking for a new place so everything is a crazy mess right now! Honestly, I haven't watched soaps in weeks, and only K Pop and a couple RH shows are keeping me somewhat sane. I'm not even kidding. Maybe they are a distraction?? (No. Please no!) I haven't heard Hangover yet but I know I will prob like it because I have a soft spot for Snoop. Plus I've seen images on Tumblr from the MV and it looks hilarious. Song of the summer maybe? Not surprisingly I love the MV for Good Luck (which reminds me of Bye Bye Bye by N-SYNC, weirdly) because Beast are getting their EXO on! LOL, it's crazy how much Overdose put the fear of God in K Pop's MV directors and choreographers, even though Beast is the more established group and probably more popular overall than drama-ridden EXO. Those dance formations are fab but between the futuristic stage, Hotel Room 2046, the fake-ass back alley soundstage, Junhyung getting stabbed, "Jesus's Last Supper"-style, I think there may be one or two too many concepts in this MV. I think they should have kept it to the operatic BETRAYAL stuff and the futuristic dance set. Hyunseung's bandana hair is making me violent. For real. Um, I forget his name (Dongwoon?) but Pink Hair is insanely hot getting his chest licked in that MV. I love her. She is so beautiful and badass. And yet when she is interviewed, she comes across as shy and almost fragile sometimes. Also, is it just me or does 2NE1 seem like they get along pretty much? The video for Crush was lots of fun. Bom looks like a waxwork doll but I still like her. Minzy killed it (in fact, she almost stole the whole show) and Dara is so beautiful. I will never, ever get tired of this song and this group performing it (damn, I really fell hard for EXO this year!). Every time I see Kai doing his balletic Overdose routine with the hand in the air playing an invisible piano towards the end... I get goosebumps. And Tao's back flip! I love how they divide it out between EXO-K and then cut to EXO-M at the beginning. By the way, Lay really stands out (in a good way). I'm glad he got some spotlight. How I wish Kris was still there though. So funny how he grew on me after he left EXO. I loved the way he used to watch out for D.O. (and Tao). I can't with those sweaters. I heard about this group! I also think SME are holding off from yet another public lawsuit because of Kris (obvs). Once that is done (and I think SME will try to settle out of court with Kris because they had a similar lawsuit a few years ago with a Chinese member of a singing group and when they went to trial, they lost), Millenium Boy will get their ass handed to them. Especially if members are signing "KAI" in their autographs! they may be leaving Thai fans thinking they are stanning the original EXO when in fact it is the Thai-speaking Xerox. OMG at Rainbow Hair in the first pic. Hello Sehun. Junhyung is pulling a Taeyang, and it is a hot move because without those sides, he looks like Peepaw McKoreanGrandpa. Speaking of Taeyang, I was coming here to post that Vogue shoot. Nevermind that he's probably standing on a box and the girls are bending down to his height -- Taeyang could still get it anytime, anywhere. It's not just his body, it's the way he's looking at the camera. Swoon. And I love the way he sings his songs. He is so into them. LOL, I don't know what that cartoon of T.O.P. is saying but I love all those reaction faces. Especially the deep-thinking one at the end.

TBH I love NY as is and think that this season has been one of their best since S2 and 3. It's just that the rest of the RHONY viewership don't agree with me. Honestly, I like the mix of old and new HWs, and I love how with the addition of Heather, Carole and Crayviva, RHoNY went upmarket. I don't think Jill and Alex coming back will mean lightening strikes twice. Without Bethenny, NY became unpleasant to watch. Luann saved her ass this season. She really brought it IMO without going overboard like Crayviva (who I still think should come back). Honestly, Heather and Crayviva would eat Jill breakfast. They are too smart for her. Jill is a loudmouth. A toxic loudmouth but just a loudmouth nonetheless.

That shirt is giving me vertigo! He looks like a pissed-off Real Housewife who is just about to read Porsha. Not saying Hyunseung is my favourite, I still think he looks odd, he just looks better when he is guesting on somebody else's MV. Beast seem to give him a lot of singing and facetime in some of their MVs, though, so I don't quite understand. That is so cool that they were rejects from other bands/reality shows and were put together and hit the dream ticket. Now their success has probably outstripped that of the groups that didn't want them in the first place! There is life after pre-debut failure! And maybe because they suffered that failure the first time, they are more invested this time around in making Beast work. Yoseob (pronounced Yo Sob?) looks cute. Sehunnie!!! He is fast becoming the smartest dresser of the group. Maybe this is the latent influence of Lady Fabulous aka Tao? Or maybe Sehun has always been particular about how he dresses. In any case, I love the super smart look they have given him throughout the Overdose promotion, with the sharp suits, made-to-measure shirts, and great hair part. He looks so hot in that pic where he hugs Chen (and who wouldn't want to hug Chen?!). He posted this image in Instagram (Hunstagram?). Yes, that is Tao doing the splits and god knows what. Xiumin imitating a baby wolf ("wurf!"). Luhan looking fabulous. Sehun looking by far the tallest and flyest. And Suho, with the world's thinnest legs. Poor Suho needs to rest and eat something. Apparently EXO participated in a Chinese variety show called Happy Camp, there were tears when the group were asked about their early days and losing Kris. Tao was asked who was the EXO member he was closest to, and he replied "He's not there anymore" apparently. This makes me think that SM will not replace Kris with somebody new. In fact, they are mediating right now with him on this lawsuit. So far, they have barely tweaked the choreography, leaving an empty space open a lot of the time where Kris should be. Maybe SM hopes that Kris will return with a new contract and lots of acting outs? They say Luhan (who is HUGE in China) will also get lots of contract outs from SM who will do what it takes to keep him on as he is now EXO-M spokesperson now that Kris is gone. Happy Camp airs in a few weeks. That Japanese lady does the voiceover of every Japanese show I have ever seen! lol 2NE1 are awesome, and throwing around the Japanese too! I love how Japanese and Koreans seemingly are meant to hate each other but are completely fascinated by each other's music and culture. That is the best I have ever seen Minzy.

Speaking of Kris, how the HELL did this fashion disaster happen?! Even Chanyeol is like "Those pants... man..." No wonder he get the heck out of SM. After that assault on your eyes, I am now going to blitz this post with some soothing Kris pics. Sorry (not sorry):

Woah. Are BEAST allowed to be raunchy and naughty on group MVs? Because the second vid especially is very different from No More (or, as I prefer to call it "Beastagram"). I have to say, Hyunseung is growing on me because when I first watched a Beast MV (Adrenaline?), I thought he was the least good-looking of all the guys. Now I think he has swagger. That bandana is still all kinds of wrong, though. And yes, Junhyung looks so cute with his blonde hair in that first MV. Also the glasses are adorable. I hear ya about getting into new bands. I am almost afraid to at this point, just because this K Pop stuff initially sweeps you off your feet, and there seem to be debuts and comebacks coming out of my ears. I can't keep up with it all so in some ways it is a relief to put a limit on all that and be picky. Thanks for posting EXO-K's goodbye performance, though the word goodbye makes me sad because we won't be seeing them for a while! Gotta say, they look tired and relieved at the end of that MTV performance. This must be a punishing tour and comeback, especially after Kris left. I will miss looking out for my little Sehun doing absolutely nothing except dancing in the background like the glorified, lazy-ass backup dancer he is. I will miss him and Tao having the Love Affair of the Century. I will miss Lady Fabulous aka Tao. I will miss Kai dancing like a BEAST and looking beautiful without thinking "Gah, did he really say that?" He will miss Kai and Suho's blonde hair. I will miss Baekhyun looking suddenly hot this year. His hair is AMAZING. I love it simple and dark like that. I will miss Chen. I will miss D.O.'s bitchface when he isn't singing and then his look of utter bliss when he is. I will miss EXO-M because in some ways I like them more than EXO-K (sacrilege, I know). I don't know if I will miss Chanyeol especially but, hey you, never know. Speaking of EXO-M, Kris and SM are going into arbitration before the lawsuit goes to trial. Maybe everybody can settle out of court?

In Kai (EXO) news: EXO seem to be trying to overshadow Beast and Taeyang's MV releases or something. First of all, Junhyung's Beastagram identity is BadBoii... lol. No words. It was a cute MV, but now I'm starting to wonder if it's not just the pudding bowl hair but the harshness of the blonde that is subtracting from the cute. Hey, at least he gets to sing in this one. ETA: In fact, there is a point towards the end of the MV where the sweet looking girl is back at her desk and considering sending a message to BadBoii via Beastagram. There is a quick shot of her desk, including some photos in a frame of Sweet Girl and what I thought was her grandpa. No! I was wrong, it was Junhyung with her white peepaw hair! Doojoon is by far the hottest in this MV. One guy had his hair done up bandana styles and I seriously thought it was a girl (and that usually only happens with Luhan!). OMG, I think I have a big girl crush on CL now. I just love her general attitude. She always give 110%. And did you fail to notice that Hangover also features Snoop?! Snoop Dogg must have alimony to pay or a pissed-off pot dealer on his ass because he is also in a bunch of commercials in Europe and Asia at the moment. Hey, whatever pays the rent. Taeyang: After all the hoopla about the "sexy" MV with the hot "bedroom scene," I had to squint and rewind to realize that this involved a brief moment where T and the actress kiss, fully clothed, on a bed. LOL, never change, Korea. Those braids need to be torn from his head and then burned, they are horrific. I almost forget Taeyang was 5'3 and then the braids reminded me. Gross. I heard the MV was shot almost a year ago in San Francisco after Taeyang did Ringa Linga. I love his singing voice in that live performance. His voice is so soulful and so pure RnB. I can't decide which song I prefer -- I think Eyes Nose Lips edges it for me at the moment. It has really grown on me.

I love that she is completely normal looking IRL but onstage is a completely different person/identity/stage persona, actually. I still think she's a hot bitch as those pictures were probably taken at 6am when they had just crawled out of bed. Good for her for allowing herself to be photographed! Personally, I think Bom and Princess (forget her name) look the best. Bom especially. Minzy is ok, too, but definitely the long hair extensions suit her face better. That B2ST trailer is intriguing but I have to agree that Junhyung's hair looks off. I can't decide if it is the color or the cut. I haven't seen that EXO performance on M Countdown yet, though I really want to because it is their last official promotion of Overdose. Then they have a few concerts, then they go on break. I am going to miss them. My K Pop habits really started with their promotion of Overdose, and then Kris left and it was like everyday there was news about EXO! What will I do without that daily news feed?! LOL, I'll live. They really should have choreographed better for 11 -- they've had almost 2 months to figure out what to do. In the first pic, I would have had only 4 pairs (and not 5) doing the drummer thing, D.O. in the middle singing, and the remaining two sliding coming in on opposite sides and sliding on their knees (like they do in the MV). The rapping part with 5 guys on each part doing the flamenco claps is awesome -- one of my favourite parts of the song and MV actually. Kris is hot there, and when he went dark-haired with the Overdose promotions, he was even hotter. I hope he becomes an actor in C-drama or T- (Taiwanese) drama because that hotness (and tallness!) should not be hidden.

I can't see the shot of CL sans make-up! Shame. I would have thought she and the others would just look much, much younger. I guess contouring saves the day, huh? Personally I think whoever does a lot of the guys' make-up in K Pop is great. Some of Beast, BtoB, Big Bangs (damn @ all the Bs)and EXO's eye make-up is incredibly on point and I would love to be able to do a smokey eye like that (instead I just end up looking like a sad panda). That Peniel shot you posted makes him look a lot like Kris (who I am liking more and more as I delve into EXO's back catalogue). And there is the eye makeup thing again! Peniel does look good as a blonde (or dark blonde, which seems to be the new go-to for some of these guys after the peroxide blonde fries their hair). Perhaps he preferred not singing in Korean while he worked on improving his language skills? It would be interesting to hear him interviewed in Korean. BTW, I **LOVE** the mas-up of Growl (my fave EXO song) and Beep Beep! It is spooky how similar in beat and length the two songs are, and how well EXO's choreography fits with BtoB's song. I wouldn't be surprised if the songwriters for Beep Beep listened to Growl over and over again in order to replicate some of its catchy success for BtoB this year. Hot pictures of Big Bang. That's exactly it. Vicki and Tamra are incredibly insecure women, that's why they give "new girls" such a hard time when they first join the show. They have to be HS Queen Bees at all times. Then comes Heather, who has the smarts to take control of a situation, who is not afraid of showing her smarts. No wonder VickRa are scared. This isn't brainless Alexis or Gretchen (who allowed them to use and abuse her repeatedly) they are toying with here. This is somebody who simply will not put up with their [!@#$%^&*] or their stupidity, and who can manoeuvre her way around and out of situations that they try and place her in.
