It appears that GD and Taeyang are involved in a hip hop project of some kind, and that it is to be released soon! Woot! It ain't BigBang but it will hopefully be good. And fingers crossed that TaeBlonde does something about those wretched bleach locks! I too was all about the dark faux-hawk. I've been tempted to check out GOT7 too, mainly because of Jackson who has a great ass on him. LOL, yes, I like to prioritise the important stuff.

My show is BACK! And unlike the crappy, low-budget visuals of last season's BH, the production once again looks ON POINT and sparkly as a 14-carat diamond. I know it's superficial as [!@#$%^&*], but I want to see the gorgeous close-ups of Lisa's white Porsche or Kyle's Bentley covertible. I want to see wide shots of stunning houses dripping in marble and huge, hothouse flowers. I want to see everybody getting ready in their humungous walk-in closets for Kyle's white party. Kyle, Brandi, Yolanda et al are so desperate for story that they know Lisa is their ticket to relevancy. So, right away, we have Kyle bringing up Lisa and painting herself as the victim. "I haven't called Lisa.. I have some dignity, y'all." Except in the very next scene -- "I texted Lisa. It would have been nice if she'd texted me." VictimKyle boohooing over what a wonderful, forgiving friend she is and what a poor friend Lisa is. If she's being a bad friend, then, why don't you drop her, Kyle? Sad that Lisa is sticking so close to the "let's never talk about it again and just move on" mantra because it makes her look guilty by default. Y'all know VictimKyle will bring this up when things get rocky again. Yolanda: "Everything is fine between Lisa and me! I learned to let that go a long time ago! Honest!" Hmmmm mmmm. Right. More like Yolanda read the comments section of her Bravo blog. Love Lisa Rinna and think she is perfect for this franchise. Perhaps an even better fit than My Eileen. Lisa R is so bubbly and positive and her vibe fits in perfectly with what BH S1 used to be all about. Also: Harry Hamlin could still totally get it. In fact, he could probably get it more now than 20 years ago because back in the day he was kind of smarmy-looking. Go, Lisa, with the Mad Men name-dropping at every turn. Having the OGs back literally gave me chills. Like seeing Camille, Drunken TayShanna and even Adrienne almost made me teary. I forgot Kim was even a part of the group until her mangy face showed up. Lisa and Adrienne have clearly decided that "My enemy's enemy is my friend" so that's bad news for Brandi. Speaking of, look who showed up with her two botoxed, gay chihuahuas in tow. When she got given the cold shoulder by everybody, she disappeared into the bathroom with the TBGCs and all I could think is "Has she gone to do blow?" At the same time, it was cringeworthy the way everybody literally turned their backs on her while dancing. Adrienne giving her the side-eye during their convo was hilarious, mainly because I didn't know that Catlady could move that part of her face anymore. All in all : a reassuring opening episode. The previews for next week look mucho lame, though. One hour of Brandi and Kim in bad wigs stalking somebody, really? Because I can't with that contrived mess.

The common denominator between Lisa and Yolanda is... Mohammed. And Mohammed seems like somebody who does not appreciate conflict. Since they were friends for a couple of years before the show, I can see Yolanda and Lisa being civil with each other, Yolanda especially recognising the backlash that came her way after last season. But Lisa was hurt at the way Yolanda tried to accuse Ken of grabbing her, physically abusing her. Ken is untouchable in Lisa's eyes, and everybody knows that. There are lots of things I can appreciate about Yolanda, which is her direct, no-nonsense, Dutch way about her. She gets to the point. She has no problem confronting a situation. However, last season, I felt she was highly strategic in her decision to "confront" Lisa. It was like she sensed which way the winds were blowing and it was Take Down Lisa time, so she aligned herself with the wolves and even led the charge at the end of last season. In the same way, that's why I stopped liking Brandi. She genuinely seemed like somebody who said whatever came to her head, what-you-see-is-what-you-get kind of person. But it seemed she was looking for arguments and, in that sense, it got strategic with her, too. I have no time or patience with Kim who is favouring her untrained pitbull over the safety of her nieces, but whatever. She took an opportunity to make herself relevant in PR but it just made her look bitter and mean tbh.

Not just Brandi -- Yolanda better be first in Queen Lisa's crosshairs! Yeah but up to what point do you "get what was coming to you"? Kenya insinuated Apollo texted her inappropriately (and I think there may be truth to that) but does that equate with an attempted fist in the face? And I still think that both Apollo and Kenya are strongly attracted to each other in some twisted way. Apollo looks like he's practically having a boner every time he speaks with her. I'm ready too, though I will have to wait for some kind soul to download it. Where I am, they are re-running RHoBH S2 (just before the tea party confrontation!) and I forget how much I loved to hate TayShanna's crazy ass at the time (I sort of love her now) -- and how much I loved Camille. Adrienne? I look forward to her first scenes with Brandi and Lisa. But yeah, I'm glad they are back.

Glad you are back! I'm back, too! tbh, I never thought KandiKoatedNights and Papa Smurf truly believed a word out of Apollonia and Phaekdra's mouths. Neither are the most convincing of liars anyway. No, Kandi and Peter and the rest of the peach-holders were all too willing to bash Kenya because they hate her. The fact that Apollo was saying Kenya made the moves on him was just the 'reason' they needed to hide behind before they attacked her. Even worse, they basically absolved Apollo of his violent behaviour towards Kenya and Brendan at the pillow party because, you know, Kenya was a Slut who Provoked Him and Tried to Break Up Apollo's Marriage (and therefore deserved to get beat). Claudia is awesome. Is she a regular cast member?

Totally agree. Just has Apollo has all kinds of anti-chemistry with his soon-to-be ex-wife, the sexual tension between him and Kenya is strong. Last season it was especially strong when they were in Mexico and talking in the bar after all the women had gone to bed. That's not to say he isn't a violent thug (hello, Pillow Party) who confuses hate with sexual attraction, but it was really noticeable in this latest episode. I don't think Kenya slept with him -- or offered to sleep with him -- but she also talks and tweets about him an awful lot. Even if it is to tear him down. BTW, they should just give Apollonia a peach because he is on more than Phaedra and Nene at this point. In fact, tbh, his story in the run-up to jail is the most compelling thing about the show right now -- mainly because it is real, a holdover from last season, and we've seen so much of it play out in the media. He is still a thug and an awful human being, though. Pahedra is a cold, hard bitch, and I have no doubt that Atlanta's newest Virgin Mary Mother of God knew exactly what Apollo was up to, probably participated and maybe even set it all up for him as a 'job.' And now she's distancing himself from him. Well, I can understand from a legal standpoint why she's doing that, but she'd better be careful that Apollo doesn't spill some legally compromising tea on her ass! Ayden, omg, he is the cutest, sweetest little boy! Poor him saddled with those parents (although I do believe Phaedra is crazy about her two babies). Cynthia is protesting a little too hard about how everything is fabulous now that Nene is out of her life. Nene didn't even mention her! BTW, I am enjoying Nene a lot, even though her "Broadway" turn is so budget. And Cynthia in the previews -- girl what is that Raggedy Ann/Newsies/The Journey of Natty Gan Depression-era look you are wearing? Mama Joyce looks so mean and grasping, and she is so thirsty for screentime. I am on Team Todd when it comes to this house issue. Poorsha -- irrelevant. Kenya shouldn't waste her precious screentime talking about her. Speaking of Kenya, she needs a better make-up artist. She is stunning but because she has a complex about her skin (either in terms of quality or color), the make-up is trowelled on. I wish she'd let her face breathe a little because when she has less on, she looks much prettier.

I know -- Sabor de Mi! D.O. was flawless but all four did amazingly. Suho got some singing time and he really did a good job. I am so loving Suho these days. And his hair is ON POINT. Can't believe I missed the Melon Awards, (!!!) but I did see that Beast got the triple crown on the music shows, three weeks in a row, for 12.30. SLAY BEAST SLAY. I actually was going to ask how you felt about IKON, YG's new wannabe Big Bang boy band. I think Winner has a ton of potential, and I have seen clips of Mino looking like a mini-GD and rapping like his life depended on it. He's cute! As have I. Last season she shouted at Ken about Lisa's crimes against humanity (like not going to Kim's daughter's graduation party when the VanderPs were in Missouri), but when he pointed out that she missed a lot of events during the first few seasons, there was lots of "Oh, you can't talk about that. That's when I had issues. Those instances don't count." Um, actually, they do count, Kim, in terms of Bravo's filming schedule! Bravo built an entire 3-episode SL around this at the end of Season 2 when Drunken Stallion couldn't show up to Hawaii for two whole days and a Bravo production assistant had to pick her up, sober her ass up and drive her to the airport herself. I'm glad she's sober (at least I hope she is) but she uses her addiction as an excuse from which to hide behind after her rageful attacks. I can attack you but don't attack me, y'all. I am listening to Drive all the time now. Junhyung's rap/vocals are slaying me, omg! I would love it if the released a Jun-only version! Apparently things aren't all that bad with 2PM. The head of their entertainment company (PJY? I forget the initials) said in an interview yesterday that 2PM is their biggest earner because they have so many fans in Japan and China. Get it boys! EXO are burnt out. I love Overdose the mini album, but this has been a rough era for them. Having said that, I saw some footage of EXO in Mexico this past weekend (KBS were filming one of their music shows out there). The turn-out was amazing and when EXO came on stage, the roars were deafening. The girls threw bras and panties onstage (hopefully unused and non-crusty) and KBS were so shocked that they turned off the lights, ushered EXO away momentarily and told the fans they couldn't do that, otherwise they would stop filming. Anyhoo, D.O., Chanyeol and Baekhyun came back out to sing Mexican ballad Sabor a Ti in Spanish, live, and I hope they release it as a single. Then EXO-K did Growl and were on fire. It's been a long time since I've seen any of them (Kai especially) play to the crowd that way and just eat up the cheers. It reminded me of the way they performed back during Mama era. Having said that... boys need a rest, SM. IA, I think the Korean version of Wow is better and I liked the girl's presence in that MV, too. On the upside, after a few weeks of being "teased" about not having much success in Korea, BtoB are taking it in their stride, reading their haters' comments (which is weird but they totally make it hilarious) and showing that they have class and a sense of humor:

Because she IS sore -- sore about Empress Lisa coming out on top and her left looking like a miserable cow at last year's Reunion. I hope they don't sweep that mess under the carpet this season. The collapse of the Yol/Lisa friendship is slightly more entertaining than Brandi doing the ugly cry over how Lisa doesn't wuv her anymore and that's why she "lashes out." Yols went for a dress that would make her 'stand out' in the photo. She figured everybody would go for pink, white and taupe satin 'n sequins, and boy was she was right. Unfortunately she looks like she walked into a giant spider's web and now cannot extricate herself.

I CAN'T SEE THE TRAILER. :( But that trashpot Brandi better not be coming at My Eileen! And WHO slapped Empress Lisa?! AW HELL to the NAW. LOL, Lisa teased her hair so that she'd look almost as tall as Yolanda. Brandi has a beautiful gown and it looks great on her. Even the Drunken Stallion has a decent dress. Lisa's lame dress is in the spirit of Hollywood/the soap world.

Rinna's hair is so associated with 'her' now, I don't think she'd dare change it. Just like Lisa won't stray from the Ken Paves blow-out or Stumpy from her waist-length hair. Sadly. So do we have start dates for Atl and BH? (Sorry if they've already been posted -- I am dying to watch some RH and I refuse out of principle to watch the mess that is NJ).

LMAO! Lisa Rinna is defiantly trying to keep Meg Ryan's 90s shag alive. It's like You've Got Mail was just released yesterday. I have to say I am most disappointed by My Eileen's outfit. I wanted some floor-length Y&R number. And I HOPE AND PRAY that those are not Mephisto sandals she is wearing with it. I see they've stuck Stumpy McCaftan front-and-center again next to Empress Lisa. Why, Andy, why?

GOD I hate October. It is my worst month in terms of work (December, too, eek). WOW. I LOVE that teaser to Drive. I love the song, and I love how Junhyung's voice sounds with those vocals. I hope they do release an MV for this because it showcases Beast a little differently from its usual pop/ballad sound. So you've been keeping up with Super Juniors, then? IA, Evanesce is the song I prefer, though This is Love is fun and catchy. I liked the dance with the girl and the swirling camera movement around them. They definitely filmed both MV's the same day, in the same studio, with the same suits. LOL @ SM being so tight with its MV budget. I love how this group has some singers who are a bit porky and not Picture Perfect but put all together, they look like a cohesive, fun group of individuals. Siwon, like Baekhyun in EXO, is King of the Eyeliner. I think Ryowook is my favourite, though I like Donghae, Siwon, Heechul and Eunhyuk, pretty much all of them. I saw a documentary about SJ a few weeks ago on YT, it was about a tour they did in Paris for their European fans. Some of their moms came as well. It was totally adorable, and their French fans were so sweet and enthusiastic. It got rather deep, too, as the boys were interviewed about all kinds of things. Leeteuk (who has always been more reserved than the others) broke down and talked about how his parents drank and his father used to beat him. He implied that the only real tenderness he got was when he joined the Super Junior dorms and lived with the rest of the group. Meanwhile, Ryowook indicated that he had to "look after himself" since a young age, and so he read up on healthy eating and stuff, and when they tour, he will pack all the healthy Korean food and vitamins and protein bars (which I guess everybody else tries to bum off him). Finally, there was Donghae who went to visit his dad's grave. His dad was a taxi driver in a small town in Korea who always spent a lot of time with his son and encouraged him. Donghae talked about how his father died of an illness literally a few weeks before SJ's TV debut, so he never got to see his son on TV like he'd always wanted. It was extremely moving, especially the way Donghae kneeled on the ground and piad respect to his dad's grave. I love CL's Tom Ford sequined athletic dress, and the songs are catchy, especially her voice on MTBD! But omg that must be the most lacklustre, stupor-induced crowd in Asia. She and her dancers were giving it EVERYTHING, and they could barely wave those lightsticks. Their cheer at the end was pathetic! Get it tuh-geh-thuh. K fans! 2PM does look like a great show. I hope they continue reaping all that yen after a disappointing comeback. And maybe their next comeback song in Korea will grab people's fancy.

So I watched 12.30 again, and the live performance from that music show. As I mentioned earlier, I suspected they threw in the dance section so that they could link it to their live performances. That was evident on the music show. I also have to give it up to Beast for doing complicated choreography WITH a microphone in their hand AND singing live. Because not even my baes EXO can do the latter. I still have to disagree about Overdose though. When I first heard Overdose and watched the MV, I felt like I'd had an electric shock. I literally got goosebumps. Like, it was FIRE. I love 12.30 and the sweeping violins and emotion though. BtoB were recently on a TV show in Korea where the MC asked them how many hours sleep a night they got. They said 2-3 hours sometimes. The MC snarked "Gosh, imagine how little sleep EXO and Beast must get then," implying that BtoB are the 'unsuccessful' group. I felt so bad for BtoB. They have really good singers -- as good as Beast, in fact. But they are not getting the material. As you said, Cheap, every comeback, fans expect more. They want to see an evolution of the sound. It's not BtoB's fault, as Cube control everything, assign them the music choices, the songs and the choreography and concept. BtoB are paid to sell that. I hope Cube takes time to regroup and think out a new concept for the group. Clearly, if Beast are releasing mini-albums of decent material every 3 months, BtoB should be getting some love, too. Oh, Minzy. Twerking in those platforms too! Not really a fan of twerking per se and think it's kind of boring to see it everywhere, but at least Minzy has the technique down -- and then some. In other news, 2NE1 is on hiatus while CL promotes in the US. Apparently YG still feel it is too early for Bom to be seen in public after PrescriptionGate. Gosh, 2014 has been a really tough year for the K Pop groups I follow. I can't with that D-Lite mess in those gifs, so imma gonna ignore it. I love that they sing different styles. This Japanese track Kimi Wa Dou? is so poppy and fresh. K Pop is so US RnB/Pop 90s, I love it! Awwww cutting off at my gentle giant Dongwoonie's part! I'll be on the lookout for the full version. YASSSS BtoB! Coming back fighting! And following Beast to Japan! The Japanese market will likely be receptive to both. I hope BtoB show the haters and naysayers that they've got what it takes! OMG Please tell me I Love Syrup (or ShiRoop as they say in Korea) is an actual song and not a commercial for some syrup! Also: why do I think drugs everytime YG release a song with "I love.... anything" in the title? TOP is the man though. I think he is so fly. At least Big Bang are touring and performing their back catalogue, so they are a group and they are together. They must love doing live shows. Still, anticipating a 2015 comeback! Can you imagine the media blitz for Big Bang's return? It would be HUGE.

Fixed! I'm downloading it on my playlist so I can listen to it again. But given that Cube moved up their comeback to fall -- when everybody else plans a comeback -- says to me they sense that Beast will sweep the music shows again, just like they did this summer. Beast are so popular in SK. No clue what they are doing with BtoB but a lot of these entertainment companies throw all their money behind their #1 groups and leaving #2 and #3 to fend for themselves, basically. It's sad because imo BtoB are potentially as good as Beast, just with a different vibe.

DuJun (or as I call him "Dear Leader") looked HOT AS HELL in that entire video. I usually think of him as the sweet, responsible guy with glasses, so it was cool seeing this 'male lead' side of him -- even if he did accidentally kill hiz gurl. Junhyung looks SO GOOD with his hair like that., I can see what you see in him, Cheap. As you say, though, the blonde and the pink are ruining the hair of the other dude and Dongwoon. And D-Woonie looks about 45 in that pic you posted. 45 and wearing a cardigan. I am going to wait until Beast release a dance practice video on YouTube befor I judge the dancing because I have a feeling those moves were pretty complicated and fly. Like, it looks out of place in the MV, but in live performances on the music shows, it may be needed. And yes, their vocals are lovely. Apparently Beast fans (called Beauties!) specifically asked the members for an album of ballads last summer at various fansigns, so Beast decided to honor that promise and this comeback/new album will be ballads-heavy. I think that's a really nice way to show their appreciation to their core fans actually.

Beast's comeback ballad, 12.30. As usual with K Pop love songs, I never understand wtf is going on. I get that she's dead. I get that Beast want to turn back time to before 12.30 am. What I don't get is how she died. Did Beast's leader shove her and she died then? Did she drink poison? Lawwwwd, K Pop, let's not glamorise suicide any more than it already is in Korea (which has the highest suicide rate in Asia!). Random dance bit in the middle but I like dance dubsteps so I'm not complaining. Everybody looks pretty hot,especially Yoseob (who wasn't featured as much here), Junhyung, Killer Leader, Dongwoon and the pretty one. I don't find Hyunseung attractive but he does dance well.
