OMG. I can't get enough of that song, and that comeback stage is amazeballs! I don't know which I loved more -- Mullet with the pink sequined romper suit? OLD FARTS GARAGE? (Do they know what that means?) The guy in the dress? "Slow down / slow down" and everybody collapsing to the ground? K Pop -- never change. I hope this album sells well for 2PM. Dongwooooooooooooooon-ah. He was prob my bias in Beast before you posted this YT clip, but this just solidified it. Not only is he singing live for +7 minutes, he is playing the piano and wearing those glasses which make him look all kinds of manly and hot. He is more talented than I realized, and that song is beautiful. I hope Beast give him more solos or maybe a solo mini-album one day. He is at an age now where he could carry something by himself. GD is apparently dating a Japanese model called Kiko somebody and it is stirring up a lot of drama between him and his stans. Firstly she posted some IG picture drug (well, pot) stuff, and in SK that is a big no-no in general society. Then she expressed some kind of support for Japanese prime minister Abe visiting a shrine where some soldiers accused of serious war crimes are buried. Since Korea suffered under Japanese occupation during the war and are still trying to get reparations from the Japanese government for those crimes, this is a big provocation, and the netizens really went after her and GD on Instagram about it. In fact, GD left Instagram for a while last month because of it. LOL, trust me to get it wrong as usual. Anyhoo, Beyonce would never admit to getting inspiration from somewhere else. That's because she gets it all from God.

P.S.: It finally happened. I never thought I would see the day when I would say I like "Wolf." But I do. It crept up on me this week for no reason, and suddenly I can't get enough of the five-genres-in-one-song. The whole concept is pretty unique. I love the choreography and I'm even accepting of Kai's dreads. Damn.

Holy [!@#$%^&*]. That 2PM song is hilarious! Flying past that fake-ass moon just like ET. I wasn't fully familiar with 2PM before, but this new concept works great on them! I also love how 70s DISCO and Michael Jackson appears to be sweeping K Pop. First Taemin, then Jay Park, now this group. OMG, the look on the face of (Taecyeon) the guy pretending to fly a bicycle. BEAST's comeback weirdly seemed over before it began. It was a good comeback, too, but their entertainment company cut it too short IMO. Hopefully this means that they are recording and will be back with another album soon. In the meantime, I will look forward to listening to Midnight as I have never heard that song before, and I love when they do slow renditions of songs. CL and Taeyang... why do I think these two have had a fling? At least they are the same height! Her make-up is so on point. LOL, yes... And So It Begins. Speaking of on point, Siwon's eyebrow game is FLAWLESS.

Wait, so it's TWO MONTHS until the next batch of RH shows?! I refuse to watch NJ, it is awful. In the meantime, I am going to continue checking out RH of Melbourne. I am on episode 6. It's gittin GOOOOD.

So that's Taecyeon -- I have heard that name everywhere but couldn't place the face. He is a cutie, and that is a really nice story about his willingness to do his military service at the expense of his US residency. I hope one day that the two Koreas will be united under SK democratic rule so that maybe mandatory military service can become a thing of the past. In the meantime, it is great that we can benefit from his services to K Pop hotness, and this latest mini album looks like it will be a fun one. Can't wait to check it out when it officially releases. LOL, EXO would not exist without the Super Junior template. From the looks to the Chinese members! It gives me hope that EXO will progressively become more comfortable in their own skins and start enjoying the MV s and performing because right now they are exhausted and going through the motions. In TV appearances, they are guarded to the point of fear, with only Chen and sometimes Kai, Sehun and Tao, being able to let loose. That Sehun gif you posted (and which I had in my siggie -- it will likely return because Sehun looks so fly in it) was from a TV show EXO have done where they recreate MVs from K Pop songs of the 90s. I wouldn't watch the shows themselves unless you are also a fan of those 90s groups. They cover a lot of background and the SM Rookies are promoted throughout, so that is a distraction. Sehun got the song Yo! by Shinhwa and after he had warmed up a little was able to show of his sassy Qween Sehuna self. But it was still a long hour until the last 10 minutes when they showed Sehun's video. Apparently he really won over the KOrean public with his performance so there could be a lot more acting roles in his future. Acting is something he has been studying so great for him! Suho looks so good in both those shots, and I love the crazy dark hair on him! I miss it. Right now, apparently, it is Korean Thanksgiving and Suho has gone on a mini vacation with Tao and Sehun. I hope they remember to take care and make a fuss of their sweet little hyung (or "Big Momma" as they called him in Happy Camp). This popped up on my YouTube feed today, quite coincidentally. It's a Super Junior song called Swing. I really like the MV! I haven't listened to all of Mamacita yet but it's clear this group knows what it is doing and is one of the most fun in K Pop. They certainly have helped to establish SM as the #1 entertainment company in SK (along with YG). And yes, Siwon is fine at ANY age, lol. I really should get into SJ as they are closer to my age group too. It's so weird that I am stanning for those young kids in EXO, lol. Yeah, BTS's Danger is not that catchy, though I liked the choreography in the MV. The song by BTS that I really like is We Are Bulletproof. I've been listening to that one a lot: Aww GD. This is not the first time we have seen him with little kids. He seems to really click with them.

Wow, you guys really think they should cancel RHoNY? It give me life this season. I would rather they cancel BH and especially NJ before they can NY, tbh. It is so much more watchable than those two franchises right now. Although I agree that Heather, Carole and Kristen are not connecting with the audience. I enjoy Carole's wit and Heather is a goddess but it is just not enough to bring in an audience, I guess. Personally, I would make Sonja a 'friend of,' keep pitbulls Ramona and Aviva so that they can fight pitbull Jill who is CHOMPING at the bit to return. LuAnn should be made a full-time HW, Heather and Carole too if they are willing to engage and SHADE ToxicJill forever. On the fence about Kristen. I liked Alex but I don't necessarily miss her or Simon so... And Kelly and Cathy can both stay gone. Bethenny looks down on the show so I'm not sure I need that attitude "gracing" us with her presence tbh.

I just finished watching the second part of Reunion. It was glorious. Vicki's entire speech at Tamra, I have never heard Vicki so eloquent in her shade, in her dragging of anybody before. She destroyed Tamra verbally. Tamra couldn't believe it. The great thng about the speech is that, even if it was rehearsed, I believe every line of it. Vicki is happier this year. And she finally recognizes that Tamra feeds on other people's unhappiness. Hence why Tamra was trying to kiss up to Shannon -- she senses that Shannon's marriage is still not as fab as Shannon makes out now. And T is ready to exploit that in order to feel better about herself and the emptiness in her own life. I wouldn't be surprised if by next season, both Shannon and Tamra are on their way to breakups tbh. I loved RHoOC this season -- it's the little show that could. It keeps surprising me, keeps raising the standard and bringing it. Best franchise of 2014 IMO (although I know RHoA would probably win that award in a popular vote ). I also love how genuinely fond Andy seems to be of the show and this cast. I have never seen him so comfortable and at ease with a cast as I did at this Reunion tbh. He wasn't afraid to push the issue with some of the women either.

2PM's disco-ish teaser: I'm intrigued. And whoever he is, is cute! And here is another Chinese variety show featuring EXO playing random crazy games. I like Carole and Kristen but IA that maybe Aviva should have stayed, even though she didn't really do anything except at the very beginning of the season and on the final episode. When the chips are down, Aviva goes Cujo and it is rarely boring. I hate ToxicJill with a passion -- bringing her back is sending her the wrong message (i.e.: evil gets rewarded). But I admit if she came back and Bravo marketed it righr, the ratings would go up. And Aviva vs Jill? OMG, I would pay to see that. RHoNJ was awful last season (I couldn't even finish it) and this season looks DOA. If Teresa goes to the pokey, you can stick a fork in it because it will be done. Honestly, bringing MeHoLissa, Joey and the rest of Teresa's family in S3 was the death knell for the show. Even if that famewhore probably isn't the cause of this season's borefest, she still helped to drag the show to the point of no return where it is today.

Empress Lisa and Miss Eileen look flawless. Frumpy to the right, god. Obviously I dislike Kyle but realistically her figure isn't terrible. It's just that the dress is too busy, too low-cut and the upper part is too tight for her. Basically Kyle just buys whatever she thinks is trendy and will impress other people, regardless of whether it suits her or not. She is also wearing a touch too much jewellery for a summer day dress (Eileen is barely wearing anything except for earrings, and Lisa is wearing statement jewellery that fits with the formal style of her dress), and her bag is too stiff and 'evening.' I had never heard of them before the news of the accident, but this is utterly devastating, obviously. Their poor friends and families. I will spare you the details of the report I read, except to say that the extent of EunB and Rise's injuries were such that they could not be identified at first, indicating that they were thrown from the car -- hence, not wearing seatbelts. Sad day. Prayers go out to the families.

Well, EXO have been criticized for relying heavily on lip-syncing, so they must be trying out more live performances. Still, I wonder why they chose now -- when the group is completely run down after this summer's marathon of concerts, TV appearances and product promotions -- to sing live. Their voices are shredded (apart from Sehun's because, let's be real, "Eeee... Exxxx... Ohhhh" is one of two lyrics he sings in Overdose!). They are literally pushing through on Red Bull at this point and look like they are about to collapse. Suho's voice is almost gone. Poor Suho has been unwell in recent months, apparently he mentioned it in passing inn an IG post. Yes, he's still blonde, but at least he is parting his hair on the side now. I have such a MEGA crush on Kai that he could show up with pink hair (pls don't tho Kai) and I would still swoon over his burning hotness. But he looks amazing with dark hair, and so I'm even more glad he looks so handsome. lol. That Korean girl lolz. I can only imagine that Kai did some kind of pelvic thrust in her general direction and her poor heart couldn't contain itself. ETA: Sorry for talking about EXO so much lol -- I that group a lot so do tell me if I'm talking too much about them. BTW, IA with you on the Jay Park song. He looks really good and, more importantly, like he is having a lot of fun. He was so cute bopping in MJ's red jacket! He's a smooth mover, too.

They are so much more comfortable and confident on the Kelly Ripa show. They seem to really love her. Whereas I felt their performance on Letterman was nervy and because of that, they snapped into Perfunctory Robot mode. And I've seen them on clips from the SMTown and they can really bring it when they are at ease, so... OTOH, Regis watching them in his umpire outfit is I have heard of Winner! I thought it was interesting that instead of a mni Big Bang, YG and went the opposite direction and put them in suits and tuxedos. Haven't heard their songs (not enough hours in the day!) but I hear their first single scored high on the Melon charts in Korea, and their debut got a lot of buzz, including teasers like EXO's debut where they lounged around a house together. EXID I have only heard mentioned but know absolutely zero about them. A girl rapper, huh? That's interesting because most Korean girl groups seem to be in the Girl's Generation mode and sort of samey. I will check them out. I love the 2pm promo pics. I love it when groups look like they aren't forcing things and are having a lot of fun. Only two songs though -- ouch. Kikwang looks HOT with his blonde. Not sure how I feel about Dongwoo's blonde, though. I sort of prefer the pink tbh. Wouldn't mind seeing him with natural brown hair. Junho is throwing shade! But I love the dark hair and glasses. He really is so cute. Can't wait to see Yoseob's look.He is such a ball of energy, that boy.

Bright Eyes! So nice to see you on this thread. I like that GG song, too, but haven't really checked out much of their stuff. I know they are huge in Korea. And in the US -- two members,Tiffany and Jessica, grew up in LA. I hope Sehun gets more lines, too. Somebody did I compilation of all of Sehun's lines in the albums thus far, and it came to under a minute. Autotune is his friend, let's be real, but he has a "flat" sounding voice that is a good counterpart to all the high notes that D.O., Baekhyun, Chen and Luhan give out so it would be nice if they utilized him more. Still, he seems to be pretty content dancing, posing and modelling tbh. That is a cool Jay Park cover and I really want to hear the whole album now. K Pop seems to steal the same old titles which usually have a Michael Jackson starting point. Sometimes the English lyrics slay me -- they have a fixed number of them and reuse them a lot. BTW, I don't know if you have ever caught Luham's (typo, and it stays) instagram account, but he posts either "Hey man" or "yo yo yo yo." I feel like I need to fly over there and give him a basic lesson in "boo" and "dawg" just so he can change it up a bit. It's getting at critical point for me, what with the Taemin album. And now I'm listening to BTS's We Are Bulletproof over and over. I need some kind of intervention before I start collecting more groups here (SHINee, I'm looking at you).

I was surprised at how... positively I felt about Tamra after this episode. You know I hate the ho and am still anticipating her takedown this Reunion, but she was prepared for the attacks and came out fighting. She also had some valid points and pointed out Shannon's drinking which imo is a problem for CrayShay who is in denial about how deeply unhappy she is in her marriage. I also think that the takedown will eventually fail, partly because Andy will back off, partly because Heather will have Tamra's back, and partly because Vicki will get cold feet about it and end up backtracking in order to stay on Tamra's good side. Tamra is shady, but Vicki knows that she needs her as an ally. Tamra got all them hoes running scared tbh. Except possibly Cray.

So, can we agree that CrayShannon is the MVP of RHoOC this season? Without her, there would have been no conflict, no story, no nothing. In a good way, not in the Brandi way on RHoBH which was so ruthlessly shot down. I guess I appreciate her honesty in laying it all bare, to the point where she admits that women flirting with David bothers her (and David flirting right back -- there has got to be a reason why he is suddenly on a health kick and buffing up. I'd watch out for those divorce papers if I were Shannon). And the fact that she was sitting nect to Andy IMO says something. Interesting that Tamra was on Andy's right but I was surprised how well she acquitted herself. She just came back and back again after the attacks, like Cujo, barking and biting. Tamra, I don't think, is going anywhere. I am still TeamHeather&Terry even though the construction comment cannot be easily explained away. I think the Bedeors are out to get them, actually, and this Take Down the Bedeors comment is ridiculous. I cannot picture Terry saying something like that, for all his annoyance with them. More Brianna! Love her. Lizzie was a non-entity this first Reunion episode. It doesn't bode well, which is too bad as she adds a note of calm and common sense to the group.

OK, here it is! The 30-second teaser to Jay Park's So Good: Hard to decipher what the actual song will be like over 3-4 minutes, but the 1970s Michael Jackson vibe is definitely there. As is the afro. Not to give you more stuff to consider K Pop-wise (honestly!) but Super Juniors released their latest single, Mamacita, and the video is [!@#$%^&*] nuts: I kind of love it when groups don't take themselves too seriously. As you probably know, without Super Juniors, EXO would never exist. They are the template -- one huge group backed by SM, a few of them Chinese so they promoted in China for a while,and in 2009 one of them quit and sued SM Entertainment a la Kris! Basically, they are EXO without the stunning plastic surgery and dieting. I guess they are older so can call the shots now. Anyhoo, I have no desire to delve into SuJu's back catalogue of hits (they've been around for +10 years! Girl, there isn't enough time in the world for me to research all that), but they looked so fun and (how can I put it) refreshingly dorky, I had to post it. So you know how you are not feeling Taemin's Danger? Well, a rival group called BTS released at exactly the same time their own single called Danger. Here's the video. Not sure if I prefer it to Taemin's one, but the choreography by BTS is pretty fly: Basically, I am ready for BtoB, EXO and Big Bang to start releasing new stuff because I don't want to troll any more new groups and get caught up in that mess.

I'm worried too, lol. It's like there are not enough hours of the day available for K Pop as it is! I hear their sound is very eclectic from album to album, but their fans are very loyal and are nuts about them. Yeah, Kai wasn't picked for his singing. He is the face and lead dancer. With the Overdose comeback he barely remembered to lipsync, and if I wasn't such a fan of him and his dancing, I'd be pissed. I do think it just being him and Taemin on a smaller mini album helps take him more seriously as a singer. Actually, what I love most of all is his speaking voice which is second to Chanyeol's in being the best and the deepest (third if you count Kris). I'd be interested to hear their follow-up single or possible mini album to see what the whole concept is and if their other sings match up to Happiness. I hope they don't bring on a replacement. That trainee would get so much [!@#$%^&*] from fans. It would be too contentious imo. I would prefer that they just work on EXO as one group and not two subunits and leave at 11 members. I don't think any of them speak much Japanese tbh. If I were to hazard a guess -- Suho? Possibly. Still that didn't stop SM from putting Chen and Xiumin into EXO-M so... lol, Jay Park is such a rebel.

LOL, I'm sorry? I didn't mean to hook you, but I heard Ace and Pretty Boy and kept listening to them over and over. Not sure if this will prompt me to get into SHINee in the future, but like you I am listening to Taemin's album a lot. Ace is almost like my lullaby at this point. And Kai is good in Pretty Boy. People diss his rapping but he's not that bad and it works in that (a) he is pretty too and ( b ) this is his BFF's song, of course he is going to be on it. Also his dancing in the latest live performances of the single are pretty good. Happiness is a great summer single, and we can just leave it at that. Again... sorry. In other news, EXO will apparently have another comeback + album later this year?! Um, yay? They are my favourite group, but I just hope they don't overstay their welcome. I think they would have dropped an album in early 2015 under normal circumstances, but SM want them to promote in Japan next year so they've pushed the album date up. Elsewhere, apparently Beyonce in some concert sang "Love me like EXO" and K Pop fans are breathless with excitement about it. I myself am thinking "Girl, step off the K Pop train. We found them first!" Wow, that really is a full album! LOL, gotta love SK's love for the Prince of Pop. They all want to dance like him, sing like him and half of all song titles (Danger, Bad, History) are taken from his albums. Given that Ace is very MJ inspired though, I'd be interested to hear Jay Park's So Good. I can't believe there is a swear word in that track list. Usually SK are strict about that, but JP has a "bad boy" rapper rep so it must be expected of him.

Taemin is good, surprisingly so. I'm actually hoping to order the mini album on iTunes because I love Ace of Ace and Pretty Boy, but it doesn't appear to be out on iT yet. It's filmed in the same dusty warehouse that SM film all their MVs, and I can't with Taemin's nosering thing. That would be Heather. She is being edged out by Lizzie and Vicki's gigantic boobies. Really? Because I had the opposite reaction. I thought Shannon and David were totally disingenuous this episode. From Shannon pointedly drinking lemonade to the hella obvious announcement that she and David are "sleeping in the same bed" to the fakeass apology David gave. I have always had a soft spot for her, especially when Tamra tried to turn everybody against her. Shannon is authentically crazy and dramatic and emotional. But last night felt like hasty PR, the last few episodes since the dinner Party from Hell have felt fake, like she is backtracking and trying to repair her image somehow. I also think that Heather has a valid point: Shannon likes to pick up on division within groups of people and sow the seeds of that division if she can. Not saying Tamra is in the right -- I am looking forward to her downfall which is LONG ovedue and IMO STILL has not happened. But that doesn't mean that Shannon isn't a [!@#$%^&*]-stirrer either. Also, she keeps saying "How many times can we keep apologizing to the Dubrows?" By my count, last night was the first and last time. All I have ever hard is Crayon yap about how Heather forcibly threw her out of her house when it didn't quite go down like that as the recap at the beginning of the episode plainly showed. I liked the ending with the music and What Are They Up to Now? recaps. I personally think Lizzie, as entertaining as she has been, is done with the show, I could see it in her face. Tamra played it very smart at Vicki's party and was lucky not to get called out tbh. Now she is trotting out her custody battles with Simon to milk some sympathy from the audience. Twas sad to see Briana go, but at least she is living her life on her terms. ------ I can't with RHONJ. It is dullsville.
