Reading your post, I think Heather is making the right decision, too. For her business, also, of which she is not just the face but the CEO. She has gotten the bitch edit this season and is not always coming across in a flattering light, so I'm sure she and her advisors realized that this would be a good time to step back. Heather is one of those rare HWs where her business was there before RHoNY, it is her full-time job and it is her priority over the show. Having said that... I think she didn't come out smelling of roses in this week's episode. As usual, DF, so concise and the shade is so perfectly thrown! RHoNY is one of those few franchises where you can often see both sides of any issue or squabble. As a female, I can understand Heather's concerns about bringing home strange men and not knowing who the hell they are or what their motives might be. OTOH Heather milked this drama, poured herself a glass and churned the rest into butter. Let me put it this way. If Carole brought home a one night stand, do you think there would be all this whooping and hollering? No of course there wouldn't. It really illustrates the divide between the OG's and the 'new' girls. Aviva was always the most vocal in accusing Ramona, Sonja and Luann of being classless and trashy. Just because Aviva was the loudest and craziest (and had a vile, repellant father) doesn't mean that Heather, Carole and Kristen did not disagree with her original premise. They have always looked down on the OGs and considered themselves above the "reality show is my job" fray. LuAnn finally realized it She thought she was one with the Heather, Kristen, Carole posse; now she's starting to wonder if they are just friends with her so that they can catch her out when she's being a little drunk and naughty and point fingers at her and snigger. In a way, it is a form of Mean Girlism although Heather probably hand-on-heart does not see it that way. As Dorinda says, she's here to teach and impart her wisdom on everyone. Ugh. Not her finest VT moment. Carole OTOH... oh boy. I used to love Carole so much, but now it's so clear how slippery she is, running between different sides, playing one person against the other. She did it with Bethenny & Kristen and with Heather & LuAnn in this week's episode. I absolutely believe LuAnn when she said Carole came to smooth things over and stay on her good side. I think it's very interesting that when [!@#$%^&*] blows up when Bethenny is not around, Carole is her only relay of what is going on. Pinot-mona was being shady about dropping LuAnn in it with NakedManGate. LuAnn OTOH decimated everyone with her "Don't be, like, uncool" speech, in dark shades and flashing that AMAZING body. She's not here to be judged about what she, a grown adult, does with her life. I also appreciated that she called out everybody upfront. But now that she's accused Carole of being shifty, I see in the previews that Carole is out for blood now. Dorinda is looking for screentime with this ridiculous 'fight' with Heather. C'mon now. Why is she eroding my goodwill for her?? Kristen thanks she is so gangster with Bethenny but the fact is she just wants to be acknowledged by the HBIC. And she got caught out on badmouthing Bethenny to the PRESS. [!@#$%^&*] dumb as a box of rocks. P.S.: Sorry for this long-ass post. I know your eyes must have glazed over when you zipped over this.

Bye. Although I hear Vanity Fair gave SNSD's Party song of the summer status on its website. Um. OK. Junho is always doing his thing. And yes I saw about the Beast comeback. Hope it slays! In other comeback news, remember Super Junior? Sexy Siwon? Mamacita? They have a new song out. It's called Devil: It sounds fun and they obviously put some money in the mv. But it ended kind of abruptly for me lol And her is TVXQ's Spellbound. It came out in 2014 but I wasn't listening to kpop then. Still, I thought I would post it because I really like the song and the mv. The long-haired female backup dancer is so fun to watch, she should actually become part of the group. I would agree with many of you guys and say that RHoA was the show that really galvanized a lot of talk around here. And that this last season was lacklustre compared with the previous one and that cooled everybody's momentum a little bit. Also it is summer and I guess people are outside more and watching the shows less. I certainly have been busy and have been catching up with OC and NY in recent days. RHoNY: Bethenny is the lynchpin of this entire show and if Andy Cohen cannot entice her to continue next season, I have to wonder if it will continue. Her reactions in Turks & Caicos have been stellar because she is manic, as Ramona says, and carries you along with her quickfire reactions. Ramonja are ofc [!@#$%^&*] nuts but in a way they are damned if they do, damned if they don't. Heather, Carole and their posse egg them along to be their most extreme just for their own amusement, so they can point a figure and laugh at how drunk they are, how slutty they are. Although Ramona trying to wedge that patio door shut in her Hawaiian Tropic banana bikini and stripper heels [ © Bethenny ] was so amazing, I pray somebody has done a gif of that so it is preserved forever. Dorinda is kinda nuts and looking for a fight when she drinks but there was a moment in her fight with Heather where Heather turned extremely condescending and patronizing, and I get why some of the women are fed up with her holier than thou attitude. Watching her lapdogs Carole and Kristen pull their "Ew ermahgurd so tacky" faces of disdain really summed up what kind of mean girls they are masquerading as the voices of reason on this show. Although it looks like Carole is already laying the groundwork for jumping ship so she can be Bethenny's new BFF and extricate herself from her best friends should the producers decide to dump the 'new' girls next season. Ugh. Looks like Kristen is not so smart and trying to act gangster with Bethenny in the previews. Girl whatever. Bethenny is hardly worried about you bringing down her empire, you dolt. On a superficial level, Bethenny, Carole and Kristen have the asses of 18 year old supermodels. Does Yoga give you an ass like that? If so, I need to drop my "Yoga is just pretentious stretching" attitude and hop on the Namaste train. Ugh PLEASE no more Meghan. If I were Bravo she would be the first I would cut. She's awful. Lol! I agree about cutting Alexis and Gretchen though. I haven't missed them a second.

So BtoB wins Album of the Year for you, huh? I understand your logic -- SHINee had some great songs but also songs you don't really care about, while BtoB is consistently solid all the way through. Although when SHINee gets a song right, imo they get it REALLY right. Kind of like EXO for me -- Exodus is not perfect and not as good as XOXO imo, but I listen again and again to a couple of songs (What If, My Answer, Call Me Baby) and they are perfection for me. Lady Luck otoh I don't care if I never hear again. And I hope BtoB get some more music show and chart wins under their belt. Right now it seems to be Attack of the Girl Groups with all the Girl's Day, Miss A's and SNSD's having their comebacks. I'm still not as enamoured with kpop girl groups as with the boy bands tbh. In Scandal News, Tao has definitively (well as definitively as possible since SM still won't officially acknowledge it) cut ties with EXO, releasing a new album next week and unfriending all the EXO guys on social media. Baekhyun was the last to unfriend him. The rapid timing suggests that a Chinese entertainment company was likely waiting in the wings to snap him up because goodness, that was quick. Scandal #2 involves my beloved Song Mino of Winner. As you may know, Mino is currently participating in Show Me the Money, a TV rapping contest. He says he is doing this to prove to YG and the fans that he has what it takes, and the street cred etc. I personally figured he already had it after his solo song and the collaboration with Epik High but whatever. Seems like YG has pitted Winner against iKON and blatantly favours the latter group, especially Bobby, iKON's Face and Lead Rapper who has been featured in a bunch of other collaborations. So maybe Mino feels pressure as the Face of Winner to match up to Bobby. Anyhoo, all this to say that on one of the shows, he rapped out some mess about wanting to be some woman's gynecologist or something and the Korean gynecologocal association got involved and Mino had to apologize. I guess Big Bang are touring? Meanwhile IKON are nowhere to be seen and Winner are grounded. I don't even know what is up but Boss Man YG needs to get off the crack pipe and start figuring out some kind of strategy for his company. You know things are bad for YG when its biggest rival SM -- which is hopeless in managing its artists, losing all its major Chinese stars (and some Korean ones) in steady succession -- is still releasing back-to-back comebacks and its (remaining) artists are scoring high in sales and wins. In fact, SM has a new boy band it is getting ready to debut later this year, as yet unnamed, but they sure are leaking their dance practice videos and interview segments. Probably because they know IKON is going to be tough competition, and probably because they can see that YG is dropping the ball. Why are you being such a stubborn old bitch? RHoOC: After last week's emotional meltdown, this episode felt more sad/cathartic. Vicki, for all her faults, continues to be utterly real in her emotions and reactions. 10 seasons in, and she remains one of the most watchable people on this franchise, if not THE most watchable. Not sure how I feel about roping in her brother and having the medium conjure up her mom next week, though. David and Shannon Bedor's marriage continues to tremble like a tiny little palm tree in 100 mph hurricane winds. When David had to shut the door on the cameras just to give himself some breathing time, I actually felt for him for the first time. It can't be easy to do penance so publicly. Though Shannon talking about her fears and mistrust of him is heart-wrenching, right down to her not wanting to go to the restaurants where he might have taken his affair. I really feel this marriage is going to implode at any second, if it hasn't already. Heather was so real last week reacting to Vicki's heartbreak and calling Terry about it. I much prefer this Heather to the one constantly itemizing her ridiculous spending of that ridiculous house she is having built. Didn't really care about Tamra's story, though I see Ryan hitting his mom up for "help" to move back to the OC now that the granddaughter has been born and Tamra is momentarily a soft touch. Saving the worst for last: Meghan. This shark-eyed opportunist. She must be the most unlikeable newbie of any RH franchise. I can't with her endless self-promotion, this week at the expense of her husband's ex-wife and children. Talking about Vicki to teenage Hayley while that poor kid's own mother appears headed for terminal illness was the most horrendous thing. That fake-ass bitch sniffling and whining about Vicki's devastation and how it made her (Meghan's) inconsequential ass feel SO SAD because she was seeing what Hayley was going to experience in a few months... what the !@#$%^&*], you insensitive cow? That poor teenager was literally battling tears while we cut to Meghan's smug VT about how she is the only one Hayley can communicate with -- unlike Hayley's own mom -- because Meghan knows about stuff like Twitter and SNS? Really?? I can't with this smug ho's piss-poor attempts to pretend she is some kind of saint. I am so ready for someone to serve her up her just desserts. Shannon, it's all on you now.

OMG I love Odd Eye so damn much. That song is close to perfect and I love the live version. Key rocking the English and the eyepatch (nice touch considering the song title) and being super alien fabulous with his blue eyes. Taemin moving like a cat and FINALLY they gave that poor maknae some decent hair. Jonghyun and Onew slaying those high notes. Gosh I really love Onew's voice particularly. But you know what? Visual Minho holds his own in the vocal department because his deep voice is a nice contrast to all the high notes from the other guys. Also, on a superficial note, his torso and hands are exquisite! Taemin shading BigBexo is EVERYTHING. And I am looking forward to the repackage. Wow BtoB. Way to surprise me! They were under pressure last year and being written off but it looks like they went into the recording studio and decided to step it up! I'm really thrilled for them that they got a #1 spot and that it wasn't all the major bands stealing everybody's thunder. I like My Friend's Girlfriend too. And can I say that those photos are the best I have ever seen them. Did we already post this 2PM track My House? It came out in mid-June.

I haven't seen the episode yet but judging from the past few, I can only concur. Meghan has been angling for a spot on RHoOC ever since she managed to finagle an engagement ring out of Jim Edmonds (a name I'm supposed to be familiar with but am not). She's trying to play the midwestern charm, but she comes across as so shark-eyed and opportunistic and HARD. Even the stepdaughter she trotted out for "happy family" purposes was giving her the stank-eye. IMO she is the worst new HW which is saying something because, hello, Kristen on NY. But at least Kristen comes across as a basically kind human being sometimes. This Meghan person is an ice robot and thoroughly unlikeable. I can only imagine her husband married her ass because she'd look young, blonde and pretty on his arm and he's not getting any younger himself, but the looks he shoots her suggest that they'll be lucky if their marriage makes it through the next 18 months. In fact, he looks like he is regretting his decision to get hitched with this trader-upper by the day. At least with the car wreck that is David & Shannon's marriage, you can sense that there was once love there. Not so with Barbie & Baseball.

Wow. Nene leaving is a blow to the RHoA franchise. I think it will still pull in viewers on a par with the other franchises, but Nene was loved and loathed, and when you have a polarized audience like that, you tend to have an invested audience and people do watch. I have been watching RHoA all the way up to S5 (or is it S6? Pillow Party season) very recently, and while it is clear Nene was beyond checked out in later seasons, especially at reunions, she still brought energy to the show. She had a great turn of phrase and even completely hypocritical was basically the big personality of RHoA. I know people will say Kenya does too but Kenya's shenanigans exhaust me. She works so hard to stir the pot and cause some drama, but sometimes it backfires. Like her face-off with Phaedra and Apollo. Apollo is a thug and Phaedra is so corrupt and shady, but when you look like you are messing with a marriage, even if it's just for laughs, it's time to step back and reassess. Pillow Party will never be Kenya's fault (imo) as she was horribly wronged and none of the other HWs had her back, which was horrendous. However, instances where she appeared to be flirting with Apollo just to show up Phaedra (followed by VTs where she kept mentioning how unattractive Phaedra was) made her look so bad. I think that's why I still cannot warm to Kenya and why I don't think she will be able to replace Nene in the shade stakes on this show. (Sorry if that is an unpopular opinion. Phaedra and Apollo were so gross with her on Reunion though. "Dirty toenails" ugh. Keep it classy, felon). I am about one episode behind you guys on RHoNY and OC -- I had an exam this week. But I just had to share how much I ADORE Dorinda. I can't get enough of her realness and her... humanity I guess? When she talks with Ramona, it sounds like a friend talking with a friend. She sounds like a real human being and not necessarily somebody trying to appear a certain way on TV *cough*HeatherCarole*cough* Carole is so shady. I used to love this woman but I find nothing likeable about this smug people-user who is already throwing her supposed chums Kristen and Heather under the bus so that she can score points with Bethenny. Let's face it, Bethenny is kind of the person these ladies are trying to impress, even while they hate how little she thinks about them or wants to spend time with them. On the OC, I cannot stand that fake Meghann chick. If her clearly-over-it husband doesn't divorce her within two years, I will be shocked. He obviously picked out a younger model to replace his previous wife, and she obviously made a beeline for his wealthy ass. Ultimate trophy wife wannabe who has clearly been gunning for a spot on RH since the moment she got engaged to Mr. Baseball. Jeana is sorely missed and it was SO GREAT to see her at Vicki's party, especially the side-eye she gave Tamra when Tamra ignored her and went straight for Shannon. Tamra should be outright scared of Jeana -- this woman knows where the bodies are buried. I don't know whether to applaud Shannon for letting it all hang out regarding her marriage or whether to hate her for the way she is using it as a SL this season. The 'apology' and forgiveness David asked of his daughters made me cringe and should have been done behind closed doors. At the same time, Shannon's misery and hurt at being betrayed is so real. Heather is annoying with the money spending and porte cochère business. But I'm surprised DaytimeFan you dislike her. I know you liked the Dubrows once upon a time (I still like Terry btw). Also on WWHL the other day Heather came across a little better.

RH cleaning house I see. Claudia is no loss to ATL tho I didn't mind her. She just didn't feel 'right' in the core group. As for Brandi, perhaps it's for the best. She was making the show toxic and letting the show become toxic to her. Maybe as a friend of she can return to the Brandi we knew in Season 2. There but not eating the show alive. I'm sure BH will find some drama to occupy their time. They'd do well to bring back Camille and TayShanna as HWs and Adrienne as another friend of. Is Yolanda really gone?? I kind of hope not...

Oooooo. That's tomorrow! And they look mighty fine in those teasers! My sweet Dongwoonie has a mini solo album yay! He deserves it. He is really talented and seems to love composing as much as singing. The EXO-BB face off is a clusterfuck. Accusations of rigging at various music shows. I don't know. I'm sort of over it. I personally don't think either Love Me Right or Bang Bang Bang warrant this kind of shenanigans. Both are forgettable imo. Call Me Baby had a catchier hook and EXO's back catalogue has far superior songs. Same with Big Bang. P.s.: Your avatar and siggie are awesome. Queen Steffy is BACK! I just wish it wasn't all about Liam's tired ass.

Chances are Kim will convince Bravo/Andy to let her stay because she will say that her sobriety is tied up with the show, and when she is off the show or the show is on break, that's when she falls off the wagon. Kim can emotionally manipulate using her addiction with the best of em and I would have no doubt that she would employ that as a negotiating tactic. The sad part is that I think deep down she believes it. She believes that without the show she would fall down a dark well. And that without the fame, she is nothing. When I think of that speech at the start of Reunion when she insisted she was still on the wagon and HOW DARE anybody say different and y'all better be VERY CAREFUL with your words and what you are saying LEGALLY because I have the goods on you and will let the whole world know, Lisa Rinna. I do enjoy Andy for the most part but he gave her such a free pass throughout Reunion. It's so difficult to know how to handle someone like Kim because if you push, you don't want to be accused of pushing her off the wagon -- again, that emotionally manipulative game where Kim hides behind her past addiction (so that no-one can call her out) without ever facing up to her current battles with prescriptive drugs and alcohol. And I have to wonder if Kim's biggest addiction is to the fame she once had as a kid and longs to claw back again. P.S.: I am catching up on NY and loving it so damn much! I was uncertain about Bethenny returning but omg where have you been the past few years?! She takes the show to another level. I love her. I love the balance amongst the women. Dorinda is a gem and her realness grounds the show. Ramona readjusting to a new, more realistic acceptance of her life is also a grounding factor. The Countess makes me live. Sonja's denial is actually a good SL this season. Heather and Carole are disappointing me but that in of itself is bringing some tension to the show. All in all, I love the sweep of these women's lives, how we see the parties and social life and the Manhattan feel and it is so fabulous. I also like how multi-faceted they are. There are no perfect 'good guys' or 'bad guys.' It all depends on the situation and context.

I feel you. EXO may be my bias group but I need to miss them a little bit more because it feels like last cb just ended. It's... too much. Too much drama, too much overexposure. They need a small break and should really release in July and August because that is when there are few good releases and I am scratching around for new stuff to listen to. This EXO repackage + cb feels like it has been rushed. Rushed because of Tao's unexpected departure (EXO are still standing y'all!) and rushed because Big Bang are releasing two tracks a month right until the end of this year. Basically BB and EXO will be going head to head on the music shows next week and the week after, so get ready for lots of deep bowing that goes on for 10 minutes at a time. I will PAY to see GD and TOP bowing to anybody let alone EXO but let's see. Meanwhile, Shinee keep winning the music shows. Looks like fans are determined to squeeze as many wins for Shinee as they can before next Wednesday's EXO cb drops. I heard that Junho has some kind of INSANE popularity in Japan. Sales of his stuff, even in Korean, regularly hit the #1 and #2 spots during the year. Taeyang's hair looks awful and it makes his face look ugly as !@#$%^&*]. He literally looks like a moose. What happened to the hotness of Rise??? Ouch to KARA flop. I don't know who they are but I think they lost a few members last year and then replaced them with a couple of newbies and it was all kind of messy. I think Kpop may have too many boy and girl bands tbh and perhaps KARA just do not stand out enough. That sales figure is kind of wounding though.

Beast and BtoB have albums out? Ah, in Japan. But I would never have known other than from you! They really slip in under the radar. CL's Dr. Pepper song is excrement! But I'm not surprised considering that she has aligned herself with that douche Diplo. In other CL news, she got a haircut: I like that she changed up her image a little bit although I wish she had kept her hair long but gone black instead! And only one week after SHINee have their comeback, EXO release a few teaser pics of their cb, next Wednesday June 3rd! I feel like they never went away tbh. The concept seems to be (American) football but with baseball hats and soccer shorts. And here is Mnet's promo for their cb stage: I'm not sure what to make of this. This is a lot like SNSD's Oh! concept -- the boy's version. I also think these guys are too slight and dancerly to carry off all that heavy athletic padding. If they start dancing in football uniforms I swear this song will be the next Wolf 2.0. OTOH, the concept is clearly just a metaphor for "Exo: bruised and battered. But still One (well, 9 now)."

Well, Shinee have had their first comeback stage where they performed View and Love Sick. I am slightly underwhelmed by the choreo to VIew tbh but that's just because Shinee are SO talented at performance that they could do wonders with something more challenging. Yeah I would love if they did Odd Eye! I am surprised by the song choice because it is quite lowkey in some ways, and I would have preferred something with a great hook and in-your-face choreo. Having said that, I am so so SO glad they went with the teaser concept in this MV. The storyline itself feels a bit "Celebrate Sasaengs -- as long as you are beautiful and white" but it is odd enough to be interesting and Thailand looks amazing. This looks like a cinematic mv. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL at the reaction to Minho's bare chest. Those gifs are classic.

I love the concept. LOVE the concept. They are like young high school kids on vacation in Thailand and being kidnapped by crazy white-girl sasaengs! Seriously, I love the styling and the vibe of all these trailers. SM really knows how to produce cinematic, mysterious, sexy, haunting trailers. It's their MVs which let them down. I don't know if it is a full-length album, but they are calling it an album (and not a mini album). Keep an eye on SHINee's official site, I guess -- they are dropping teasers and teaser pics all this week ahead of the album's May 18th release date (which will probably be next Sunday evening your time as they tend to drop at midnight KST).

Well, it's not official in that neither Tao nor SM have released statements confirming whether he is in or out. But Tao is no longer in SK, he was in China until a few days ago apparently. And he no longer refers to himself as part of EXO on his SNS sites. It makes me sad because I don't think he necessarily wanted to leave, but his father forced his hand. It also makes me sad because EXO keeps losing members and that must hurt morale within the group. Sehun alone must be devastated as they were BFFs. I just listened to Excuse Me Miss and I love it. Taht is some RnB groove there. How I would have loved to see Shinee perform this song -- their choreography is usually a standout. That TY speech is hilarious and I love the love other idols have for other groups too. You can really feel the support SHINee is getting from others. BTW -- guess what drops next week? SHINee's new album ODD!! Here is the first cryptic teaser for it. It sounds very retro. This should be good -- fans have been waiting 18 months for a Korean release from SHINee. I see you like Minho lol. They all seem so tight with each other tbh.

WOW! I was away on vacation the last few weeks. And then everything happened! Tao left EXO (sob! Apparently he is in the US right now where he is going to study at get some treatment for his injuries). I feel burned out from all the people leaving EXO tbh. All I know is that I love them, this is my bias group, I love the Exodus album(What If is still my favourite song) and long may they reign because they are still a phenomenon. Bastarz are awesome and their vampire mv made me lmao. Out of the two releases from Big Bang so far, I find the Loser mv by far the better one. It was like a mini movie and TOP's part in it almost made me tear up. However, as jams go, Bae Bae is the catchier song. Some of it feels very GD tho, almost too GD, too Pretentious GD Trying to Be Ironic and Arty. IA with you Cheap that Taeyang's and TOP's parts are the standouts. Though Taeyang needs to burn that horse's hair wig he was sporting, and TOP squirting white liquid at that girl? What are you smoking TOP?? His Instagram is also um, unique, shall we say. LOL. Seungri looks so hot with the blonde hair and I honestly NEVER thought about him that way. Casper... hmmmm. OK, his body is hot but like AllMyDays I am unable to connect to him atm. I'm not sure why. It looks like a comeback is planned for them this year because Tony Testa (the choreographer who did Overdose for EXO) posted on IG that he was with them working, and that usually means a fancy new routine for a fancy new song and mv!
