The copyright date for the game is 1987, and interestingly enough one question I found going through the cards I found at least question pertained to a story that happened in '87 regarding Phillip and Nina. Indeed that answer about "unnatural attachment" was Joann, while the answer to who was spiking Kay's meds is Jill although not sure what story that occurred in. There's a lot of obscure Y&R trivia and references in it; I don't know if even folks in '87 could answer questions about Pam Warren's murder or what color was Gwen Sherman's hair.

Thanks for sharing! 80s commercials are so cheesy. How long did it take exactly for Adam's paternity to be revealed? I thought it happened in late '87. Those scenes with Jessica and Shannon make me sad considering their later awful storyline. I never knew James and Lilith were lovers, that must have been one hell of a couple. Pam Dixon didn't work as a long-term character did she? Whatever happened to the Franklins? Who was Mark?

What did people think of crazy wicked old Joyce pretending that she was dead? I believe that story was right before these synopses, and I understand it was ATWT's first back from the dead story I think. How did you guys like Peter Reckell as Brad Hollister? I remember being totally shocked at seeing him in a 1981 episode because I had no idea had done anything before joining Days in '83.

It didn't help that as the anecdote goes that Ariane Munker/Ariana Chase ran off the show after being caught up in the feuding between CZP and Jacqueline Schultz. How did people like Veleka Gray in the role of Lyra? Gray is a fascinating actress to me for all of her roles (especially her later Y&R work).

Eh, well it was a rather low-rated episode I understand to open the season premiere with. I though the show had given up on these needless two hour episodes after not having any last season. Cristina's abortion story was pretty weak same goes with the Derek/Meredith stuff. Bailey seems so pointless of a character now. How soon before the Seattle Grace staff darts off in search of Carter in Africa?

I never cared for Michael at all, always thought he was a real sanctimonious jerk and hated him and Stacey. I always though Donna could do better (see Jake and Matt). I hated Michael in the 90s when he came back, breaking up Matt and Donna for no good reason and then getting involved in the Felicia/John/Sharlene fiasco. Actually to honest in spite of his veteran status when they killed off Michael in the car crash that killed Bobby too I felt a bit smug the show had managed to kill off two birds with one stone. Unfortunately by that point the show had quit using Donna entirely except to run people over.

Yeah I think Selena basically fulfilled the role of town cop throughout the the late 80s and just about all of the 90s. After Selena left she her role was essentially replace by that bumbling Detective Webber who was on the show for at least a decade until 2008 when we had that Gil Wallace character who had potential but got discarded in favor of first Chance then Ronan.

That's interesting, I know Fay Hauser played Selena Wylie off and on over the course of what 15 years at least but never became part of the regular cast which is kind of a shame. Selena usually shared a lot of her scenes with Paul.

It was really dumb but it was sort of a "so bad its good" tale especially since Jade finally transformed into an evil bitch until Cleo turned the tables. Plus I don't think it was suppose to be taken seriously like a lot of the total crap that aired in 2008, especially the Z twins in 2009. Two casting questions I have I hope some one could answer: During the K.C. Collier tenure as HW(in between the Dobsons) did Maeve McGuire and Greg Pentecost(best known as Tony the Tuna) play a married couple on the show for a brief time before both were dropped? Or maybe it was the Tom King tenure, I don't know ATWT obviously had big problems in between the Dobsons' first and second stints. Second question I have was Damian ever temporarily recasted? I read somewhere that a person had a ATWT episode where a guy playing Damian had dark and curly hair. Then again this describes Paolo Seganti's hair in the summer of 1995 so I don't know for sure.

I can imagine Mary might have ended up the same more or less or possibly gone the way of Jennifer Brooks. As for Liz, all I can say is Katherine Chancellor. Missy Palmer probably could have been his Laura Horton.

I'm wondering how AW would have turned out if Bell had written the show for the long haul--can't you see Alice and Pat getting entangled with Lance and Lucas Prentiss while Mac watches Rachel stripping? With people comparing AMC's finale to past finales, I'd thought I'd share this:

How was Stephen Schnetzer in the role of Steven Olson? Why has the show never brought the character back, especially being Hope's brother? Same goes for her other brother Douglas. What about Tammy Taylor as Hope, the teenage/young adult actress playing her before Alfonso? It saddens me there's a whole slew of Hortons (Steven, David, Scott, Sandy for starters) that were used incorrectly and then discarded and forgotten about except in the ornaments on the Horton tree.

I believe that's Beverly Penberthy herself! Barry was much much older by that point. It's a shame ATWT didn't find a way to keep such an underrated daytime legend around. Lindsay Frost's career never took off did it? Funny just tonight I was watching a Seinfeld rerun tonight of when George and Jerry visit NBC to propose the Jerry show and meet Susan for the first time they walked past two giant promotional posters, one for Blossom and the other for Frost's(with Robert Englund) short-lived series Nightmare Cafe. I'm absolutely loving those 1993 eps they're a trip down memory lane! Are there any clips available of Beverly Penberthy playing Kirk's lover Adelaide? Does anyone know if Betsy Stewart appeared at all in 1991 played by a Tracy Sallons?

What did you guys think of Dinah in the late 80s? This was shortly before I even started watching GL and I've only seen clips and read old synopses. The traveling circus family sounds odd. Were Ross and Vanessa's histories retconned for this or had it always been known they shared a past together? Who was better, Jennifer Gatti(infamous for her later Y&R role) or Paige Turco(famous for playing April O'Neil)?

I've always wondered why the show never revisited Josh and Harley although I think they made Harley slightly crazy when they had Harley burn Reva's clothes but then again just about every woman lost their sanity over Josh didn't they?

How on earth did Reva's true identity slip completely past Vanessa when others were calling her Reva almost right in front of her? I love early Reva Its pretty clear to me why she got on fast there in 1983/84 although obviously becoming the entire show by 1986 was a too much Funny about that Reva being escorted by Mike and being introduced to Ed. I remember in a 2004 interview SOD did with Peter Simon he wished that Ed and Reva would have hooked up at some point. Interesting as we could have seen Reva Bauer but I can't see a Ed/Reva pairing happening. The funny thing about Reva's intro in November 1983 is she was talked about for a good week or two before she finally appeared. I've seen the 83 Thanksgiving episode Billy and Mindy talk about Reva, HB making Reva jokes and how Reva couldn't handle Mindy and how Alan was interested in bringing Reva to town and meeting her, all before she actually even appeared.

I haven't seen Scott lately but at least he finally let Melissa off her leash as she's been back on Days now for a year. I have to wonder where at on today's Y&R characters like Ryan and Cole would fit in. Actually I'd love it if Cole came back and got involved with Victoria again it would give her someone her own age or so to interact with and be would refreshing instead of her moping over Billy. I wonder what J. Eddie Peck is up to these days anyways.
