I couldn’t believe how much I liked Gizelle this season when I’ve hated her since season 1. Being forced to be friends with everyone and not being able to ice people out with Robyn did wonders for her. I hope the show realizes this and leaves Robyn where she is.

The thing is with the Newman story like the previous Ashley story, JG proved he can do good soap when he tries. A complete lack of follow up on your previous week’s final leading stories is absolutely terrible soap. And honestly I’m already bored with the Newmans following the excitement of the story but it was always better when it was focused on Sharon anyway.

I don’t think Mansi is unpopular as much as Kristina the character sucks. But I don’t go on soap Twitter so I’m speaking from my own biases. Are you seeing online discourse with Mansi’s portrayal?

Today was SO BORING. How do you have ZERO follow up to the Damian story after last week and the cliffhanger? Literally everything today was skippable.

How long exactly is fake Rafe supposed to stick around? When Rafe gets out, what crazy loophole are they going to use to not send EJ to prison? Did EJ really do all of this just to get his job back? Belle is going to look even dumber than she already does for sleeping with her sister’s former husband/rapist. Happy to not see Doug III or his wooden portrayer. Crazy how fast Body and Soul was wrapped up and we still have 2 months of Ron. So now Kristen’s mother is just another brought back from the dead to be a baddie character. The RC special. Days does so many prolonged kidnappings in rooms without bathrooms or even buckets. No one ever comments on how smelly the kidnapped person is who is in the same clothes for weeks on end. Nothing about their bad breath.

Today was actually pretty enjoyable. Enjoyed Nina/Carly being on the same side. Lord Ava almost kidnapped Avery, thank god Ric was there with Liz. And ooo that kiss. I like that Ric knows Liz is still a hard no but it doesn’t stop him from still being there no matter what. I do wonder if we move forward with Ric and Ava, how does that change Ric’s devotion to Liz and how does Ava respond to that. I desperately want Ava to get custody of Avery. It’s never made sense to me how Sonny and Carly managed to have custody this long of her daughter when Sonny is even worse. Kristina let her crazy show in front of Liz. I hope she ruins the custody case for Sonny. Carly and Tracy coming to an understanding was nice as well. Jason being forced to pretend he’s Sasha’s baby daddy is dumb as hell.

This is exactly where I’m at on both.

On a show where Maurice Bernard has barely remembered his lines for 20 years, I refuse to call Jordan the worst actor on the show outside of Oscar lol. I’m sure someone will mention Maurice was good 25 years ago so it’s okay.

Yesss you touched on the other portion perfectly as well. Ric and Lucky even have percent adversarial chemistry. It’s two men who have both never gotten over Liz and they just so happen to come back to town at the same damn time. I can’t get enough. Also I don’t remember if I mentioned that I’m continuing to love Jordan and Isaiah. It’s pretty organic but it might even be a little too slow at this point. But they both sell it so well.

I love the way she speaks as Selina. I hadn’t been exposed to Selina until recently and instantly she made me interested.

@Taoboi The last two days of the week, the Damian story really heats up! Thoroughly enjoyed it. So far I’ve enjoyed the new sets so I’m curious what Diane’s Abbott mansion refresher will look like.

I love when Quad reminds me why I don’t like her at all. Quad needs to do some healing.

A Carly and Nina team up to take down Drew has me very excited. Liz with Ric and Lucky the other day was obviously a highlight for me. The way RH has chemistry with both of her former leading men, in the same damn scene at the same time needs to be studied @Taoboi. Ric always being there for Liz will forever give me life. So now they’ve confirmed Gio is BLQ’s and Dante’s kid. They didn’t even cast someone with similar features to either of their parents or grandparents. Count me in for a Dillon return.

Spending the last 15 minutes of the reunion redeeming Brynn was certainly a choice and the wrong choice. She was still literally lying about things at the reunion.

Drew is aggressively awful. I was cheering for Carly.

I just realized the Newmans had another major story that they didn’t involve Abby in at all. She really should be at Abby Carlton at this point.

I think what will be different is Gretchen will have Allies this time that are also sick of Tamra. In the past the ladies mostly stood by and supported Tamra’s cruisades against Gretchen. And Slade really did suck. I could not agree more. She is so just there and not humorous at all. I wouldn’t miss her at all and her being gone wouldn’t mess with the group dynamics at all.

I’m SO glad you mentioned this. At one point I was like did GH build two boxing gyms? I totally missed Brad in the background.

Oh wow. Will they be keeping both actors?

I am SO sick of Victor on the front burner.

1/30 Another great episode. I don’t remember the last time I enjoyed the show this much. Would have to be Ashley’s storyline, and then the show got AWFUL. Now THAT was a cliffhanger. And on a Thursday!

Atlanta has never looked more RICH. I’m excited for this. I hope it succeeds.

RHONY Brynn may have had one of the worst reunion performances I’ve ever seen. She truly tried her best to be the biggest victim but her castmates weren’t letting her at all, it was great. Sai still thinks she’s owed an apology despite spending a season implying that Pavit was flying to Vietnam to cheat. She took zero accountability for that being why he said that.
