  1. Especially when it wasn't that long ago that these same jackholes gave Colin Kaepernick and others [!@#$%^&*] for kneeling in front of it. Apparently, you can beat someone almost to death with the flag, but you better not kneel in front of it or set it on fire, lest you want to be considered anti-American.
  2. Many on the right just don't understand the emotional and physical tolls that this pandemic has taken on the rest of this country, and the world. They can't (or they refuse to) see past their own inconveniences to realize that their selfishness is placing others' lives at risk. God and the ACLU forgive me, but I truly wish we could prosecute and incarcerate every single individual out there who refuses to do the bare minimum and put on a damn mask. To hell with your feeling your liberties are being encroached upon! Neither I nor any of my loved ones should have to die so you feel a little more free.
  3. Wow, I know people who lived in NYC before 9/11 knew all along what kind of monster Rudy was; but to go from being the "hero mayor" of that tragedy to this.... Life is a funny thing, girl.
  4. I know Jay Sekulow won't touch him, which could be saying something. Also, I've heard Alan Dershowitz's name floating about again. Of course, Dershowitz once got Claus von Bulow off the hook -- but, then again, Claus was a more sympathetic client. ;)
  5. Of course he would feel that way. After all, they backed him up at his FIRST impeachment trial.
  6. Same.
  7. He eats only organic food and the MAGAts still let him into their club??
  8. That's b/c DAYS is gonna bring Shawn Sr. back...w/ Peter Reckell in the part.
  9. I'm not surprised he would feel "gutted" by the PGA's decision. It's one thing to ban HIM, but to ban his BRAND? To men like Donald Trump, his brand is everything.
  10. Somebody stole AOC's shoes? What was this? An insurrection, or a Patti Labelle concert?
  11. Amen!!
  12. Hallmark: When you care enough to ask for your damn money back. https://www.kansascity.com/news/politics-government/article248424220.html
  13. Exactly. I could be mistaken, but I swear I heard Trump say recently, "They're not gonna get this WH!". Now, to me, that sounds like a threat -- and when you make threats, IMO, you've crossed the line from just speaking against the government. IMO, in that instance, you forfeit your right to speak freely.
  14. I just have to say, I'm tired of all these individuals (including my own damn mother) who worry that all this banning and deplatforming encroaches upon freedom of speech. People really do not understand how the First Amendment works anymore, do they?
  15. Why pardon yourself if you think you haven't done anything wrong?
  16. Exactly!
  17. Still care to "Free Melania," folks?
  18. The fact that a WOC (and HBCU grad) was elevated to Acting Chief in the wake of this tragedy is what I call poetic justice.
  19. I would say so. It's one thing to believe the crap you're espousing; we could (almost) dismiss you as a crank and then move along. But, if you're craven enough just to pander to your audience's ignorance and prejudice, because getting them riled up ultimately equals more money in your wallet, you might as well have no conscience or soul.
  20. Well, it's like what we keep saying: words have consequences. People on the right and far-right can cry "free speech!" all they want, but there's a difference between expressing a political opinion and openly fomenting an insurrection. He's proven himself unable to keep his followers from acting on their most violent impulses. Ergo, he needed to be banned and deplatformed. If only to possibly keep another, even more devastating act from happening. Sad...but true.
  21. Please, oh please, oh PLEASE let them announce that they're closing Trump Tower. At the very least, let them announce they're taking Trump's name off the building. TT was/is his baby. To lose it would REALLY make him suffer. I didn't. What happened?
  22. Not that I'm suggesting they're closet liberals, but I doubt most of Fox News' "personalities" believe half of what they say on-air. They're just throwing more meat to their viewer base and collecting another paycheck in the process.
