  1. It'd make (more) sense IF Gwen's objective was to ruin Jack's life and family and make herself the one person he can truly count on. But, I don't know whether that has been made clear.
  2. Wow, my first time to see Doris Belack, Tom Berenger, Kathy Glass, Bernie Grant, Alice Hirson and Dorrie Kavanaugh on OLTL! Thanks, @Sean!
  3. Take it, Wendy!
  4. Agree. When I saw that tweet, I thought, "Well, there's a mass grave waiting to happen!".
  5. Even if the Senate doesn't convict him at the impeachment trial -- and IMO, there's a good chance they won't -- I STILL support splintering the GOP into two parties. Trump and the Patriot Party could fill the news cycles for the next four years and beyond. However, as I've said upthread, breaking up the GOP like this would only help the Democrats, as I doubt either party (the "Establishment" GOP or the new "Patriot Party") would grow much beyond their established bases. If anything, I think the Patriot Party would flounder quickly, due to a combination of lack of fundraising support and overall incompetence in running a political campaign. Many Trump supporters were elected to positions of leadership in local, state and federal government, but only because they had the GOP's considerable financial and other resources. Once they're on their own, all that goes away.
  6. So, another flop actress thinks Biden is a criminal? Whatevs!
  7. Yeah, but you know this is gonna come back to bite him (sorry, Alvin) come re-election time. "How can you trust a Senator," they'll say, "who would even lie about having a dog?".
  8. First weekend of the new Biden administration, and of course, some funky [!@#$%^&*] had to go down (in Tacoma, WA). Apparently, a Tacoma police officer, who was in pursuit of someone doing burnouts (?), ran down a bunch of pedestrians with their car, then sped on, basically committing a hit-and-run. Here's a link to an article w/ video. Warning: it's graphic. https://www.thenewstribune.com/news/local/article248726860.html Get ready, folks, 'cuz you KNOW the cries to defund/abolish the police are a-comin'.
  9. The ladies on "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" would be impressed.
  10. It's Emma Donovan. Watch.
  11. LOL!! Yeah, but Gwen's more than proven herself to be less than trustworthy. She COULD be lying even about THAT.
  12. I think that's one reason why I never cottoned to JvD as Clint. Well, that, and the fact that he will always be Ross Marler to me.
  13. Exactly. And why in God's name should the Democrats even LISTEN to the Republicans on how to proceed with the impeachment trial? It seems like even the Democrats are forgetting that they control the House and Senate now. Their gavels, their rules. Sure, the GOP could vote not to convict Trump, but if the Democrats were wise, they would stick that in their back pockets for the next elections.
  14. Please keep us updated, @amybrickwallace!! And I'm keeping good thoughts for your cousin, too, @Soapsuds!!
  15. And the Democrats, of course, will heed the advice and accede to the GOP, instead of just dusting them off their shoulders and moving on. I know I've said this in the past, but I really miss the Clintons' take-no-prisoners approach to government. They seemed like the only liberals who knew how to fight as dirty as conservatives.
  16. Knowing Ron, he'll probably tie her (and Jack) to some random character from BITD, like Megan Hathaway or Ivy Jannings.
  17. "My wife. I think I'll keep her." That, along with "I'm Cheryl -- Fly me!," has to be one of the most misogynistic ad campaigns ever.
  18. Frankly, I've always suspected JK of being a "lipstick lesbian."
  19. I wish people would remember that, instead of reactivating all the same, stupid battles (left vs. right, far-right vs. right, far-left vs. left, media vs. everyone). It hasn't been a week into the new administration, but already, I'm weary.
  20. I'm taking this one directly from my own Twitter feed, because, well, the enemy is here and he must be stopped:
  21. Yeah, Harper, the Riverfront Knifer, would have seen to it that neither Gwen nor her mom lived.
  22. "But," say my friends on the far-left, "ICE is still in business, and the kids are still in their cages." As if ICE and the cages were supposed to disappear like COVID-19 magic when Biden took the oath. (Personally, I see nothing wrong with placing even our own kids in cages. But, I'm a bastard who hates kids.)
  23. Exactly. I understand the needs for unity and compromise, but let's not forget who has control OR who put us in this precarious position. Achieving unity doesn't mean letting the GOP still have its' way.
  24. This new director's cut of "Reality Bites" is very dark. https://nypost.com/2021/01/21/woman-who-allegedly-stole-pelosis-laptop-blames-ex-for-charges/?utm_campaign=SocialFlow&utm_medium=SocialFlow&utm_source=NYPTwitter Meanwhile, I'm looking at all the Bernie memes and I'm thinking, "We didn't learn a damn thing." Oh, well. Might as well get ready to beat back the Bernie cult. Again.
