DAYS: Behind the Scenes, Articles/Photos
The priest was bringing out the dormant devil from inside of her. I forget the exact explanation, but I guess when a person has been possessed, there's still a dormant demon dwelling deep inside. Or some such nonsense. Anyhow, they toyed with the idea of Marlena being repossessed for about two episodes, complete with Marlena having a nightmare of being repossessed in her hospital room, her eyes glowing yellow, vomiting pea soup across the room at John, flying out of her bed (literally!) and strangling John as she continued levitating in the air. Crazy stuff.

Alex and Simon now live Down Under, but I sure would welcome Jill's skanky ass back to NYC. I love to hate her... and I like her family. It's a divide in my household: I think Ford Focus is as fault; hubby blames Cynthia. Cynthia is definitely taking her anger about Peter out on the girls, but Dodge Omni is still in the wrong. I'm amazed this girl has lasted four seasons, and was even brought back full-time after being demoted, a la LuAnn.

So glad to have the Beverly Hills bitches back! (Oops, no offense, Cynthia!) Lisa V wins for best new tag line!! Rinna and Eileen tie for 2nd. Kyle's is too wordy. Funny that only one of the new ladies was included in the opening, yet was not featured in the show at all. I actually think the five ladies with lots of friends and supporting characters (all the former housewives popping in, plus Faye!) would be enough. Two new blonde ladies, one with a scary face, will hopefully not be another Joyce/Carlton. They really struck gold with the soap veterans joining last year. They mix in so well with Lisa V and Kyle. Say what you will about Kyle, but she and Vanderpump are the tentpole characters of this franchise and I love it when they're getting along. YoLemony.... The whole thing is sad with her and David. Not surprised, but thought it would happen a couple years later. As for the birthday dinner, I also thought it was a little too "oh woe is me" to make all the effort to come, but purposely wear no makeup.

I like the idea of casting around the potential cliques, but that's when you get into dangerous territory of the show getting too dark. The show finally got some buzz this season, but the subject matter itself is dark (and at this point, all talked out). Tamra is like a cockroach that you just can't kill. I thought we'd get a juicy downfall last season, but that petered out quickly. Shannon, whom I really enjoyed her first season, needs to take out whatever is still stuck up her fanny.

It also said Melissa Gorga may NOT return while Jacqueline WILL return. Hmm.... I suppose a familiar face will be nice (or whatever incarnation her face now looks like), and we'll see the fractured friendship of Teresa and Jacqueline repaired?

Yeah but Marlo is honest about her criminal/sketchy past. Faye, on the other hand, isn't. She also thought it was cute to capitalize on her friend's death with a tawdry tell all so.... Welcome home, Faye! You've been missed

I don't suppose The Reunion is included with the Season Nine DVD? (Which reminds me, weren't there multiple reunion specials of Dallas throughout the 90's?) PopTV stopped airing Dynasty a few weeks ago when they brought on Dawson's Creek, but they assure it via Twitter that it will be returning. They keep mum when I ask about Melrose Place though...

The "Teresa Checks In" three-parter was a nice lil update on the favorite family of New Jersey (cuz that title does NOT belong to the Manzos). Even though Teresa is guilty as sin, you can't help but feel sorry for her and her four "daugherters." And yes, Melissa gets zero empathy from me, too. She'll say anything for camera time. I'm not sure what we'll have to look forward to once Teresa gets out of the slammer. We'll have Teresa, Melissa (unfortunately), Rosie would probably get more airtime than straight sis Kathy, Jacqueline has no reason to return, and Caroline doesn't want to return. Would they raid Dunkin' Donuts for their latest new castmembers?

Bye Kristen! She's lucky she lasted two seasons. At least with these talks of Kristen and Heather not returning "next season," it gives us hope that there will be a next season.

Once again, the term "friend" is used loosely, since her only friend is in rehab and off the show. Meanwhile, WHEN are our beloved Beverly Hills bitches returning? I can't wait to see these glossy glam ladies again! On a similar topic, which Real Housewives do you find to be the most consistently entertaining? Despite their weak season 4, I think Beverly Hills is the most consistently entertaining of them all. I always look forward to them returning, and they almost always have this high-glam production value that is a step above the others. Atlanta still has great moments, but I feel like the original spark of the series dimmed after season 4.

Agreed. Meghan, Porsha, even NYC's Kristen. When they compare their castmembers to crazy drunk aunts or old bitter mothers, you know the gap is too huge.

I would record the Manzo show and speed right through it. Never watched a second of it. Apparently, all the usual housewives and friends (Melissa & Joe, Kathy, Rosie, Jacqueline) popped up in one episode but I didn't see it. I would consider OC's recent storyline (focusing on Brook's does-he or doesn't-he cancer plot) just a bad storyline. Kind of like BH's focus on bringing down the fabulous Queen Vanderpump. I don't think it's gotten to the dark place NJ got, where an overhaul and refocus was needed. Meghan just needs to go because she's useless, dumb, and has no chemistry with the other ladies.

I'm about seven or eight episodes into season 6, and I find myself actually enjoying this season more than season 5. I'm a sucker for an over-the-top doppelganger storyline, and the Krystle/Rita plot is pure camp! The Colbys' inclusion for the most part aren't so bad... other than Emma Samms as Fallon. Good Lord, her constant, "Why can't I remember?!?" cries are obnoxious. And it's kind of jarring, how Pamela Sue Martin's hair was generally straight and flat, while Samms' is a giant poof of curls on her head. I love watching Heather Locklear getting older and slowly morphing into what eventually became Amanda Woodward of 4616 Melrose Place Michael of Moldavia has been a weinie twit since day one.

Smart move. The only thing Cindy could offer is a 10 second blip about her fight with Sonja over her their brunch get-together. Alex was always doing those video blog things. Too bad they couldn't work something out. Watching the old clips, poor Alex took four seasons to finally get her hair looking right.

I really enjoyed the 100th episode special of NYC. Too bad they didn't air it on a Tuesday night, or after OC, but I'll take it. Interesting how all the ladies of the original cast were introduced to Bravo through Jill Zarin (except Alex, which LuAnn humorously noted that was Bravo's fault doing), yet sadly she declined to be interviewed for what could've been another epic behind-the-scenes tale of secret records, stampeding the offices, and whatnot. Sweet to see Bethenny break down (yet again) and thank Bravo/Andy for changing her life and making her career aspirations come true.

Yaaaaaass!! Miss Lisa Rinna in the OC! God, she was made for these shows. I'm surprised they didn't promote it, as they did when Yolanda and Brandi crossed over to NYC. Meghan is just going too far. And what flimsy resources to consult: a jilted ex on a random blog. The nerve of her to actually contact her, through a random text is just WEIRD. Okay, Tamra, let's just run around like a maniac over hearsay. Did y'all watch Ramona and Tamra on WWHL as they handed out some of their Real Housewives Awards? Haha, cute stuff. Ramona got MVP, much deserved. At first I thought it was interesting that NYC and OC had a good turnout, but then I remembered those were the two shows airing at the time of the voting, so it makes sense. Lisa Rinna's glass-throwing table rant earned her a coveted glass shoe trophy, though

If Bravo had their say, I could see them using NeNe to save a floundering series, such as New York or New Jersey. But Beverly Hills? Not needed.

Oh, how I look forward to hearing of all the latest pretend business ventures Sheree has been up to the past 3 years. And I'm sure there's issues with her latest contractor du jour, preventing the library or gymnasium or bidet from being constructed at Neverland.

I'm 2 episodes behind on OC, but I'm in agreement about Shannon. I came into this season loving her the most, and now I dread her scenes because they're uncomfortable to watch. Although I appreciate the "real" aspect of this (especially in contrast with so many set up, scripted, and rehearsed other moments on these shows), it's a little too real and not entertaining. I fully expect the marriage to crumble, and it's a shame the kids are brought into this to act up in front of the cameras.

I thought it was funny how all along, LuAnn was saying she didn't know the guy she hooked up with was married. And then later whispered to whomever next to her that, "I thought he was separating from his wife." Ha!
