Since I don’t pay attention to tennis news, this just dawned on me, where are the line judges? Is it A.I. that’s calling the outs/faults?

First the quarters at Wimbledon and now the semis at the US Open - Felix made a lot of progress this year. Hopefully next year he will make it to a final. He’s only 21 and has a ton of room to grow. He played a great tournament. I feel like he’s going to be the better player than Shapo when their career ends.

Can’t wait for this final. Hopefully this is the beginning of a long rivalry. Congrats to both young ladies.

A woman vs a girl right now. This could be over quick. Yikes.

For tonight, why are the matches at 7pm and 8:15pm? Why have them play at the same time (assuming the first match doesn’t end in 75 minutes)?

Emma was born in Toronto, so we’re gonna claim her too. 🤣 A finals with her and Leylah would be amazing.

I went to wash the dishes for 5 mins, came back and the match is done? What? Okay. I’ll take it. FAA and LAF makes it to their first GS semis!! What a great day for Canadians.

Oh my god, it’s 5-5 in the tiebreak and Leylah hits the forehand winner that hit the net to get to a match point. 😮 My heart was pounding!! Throughout periods of the match, she looked so tired but she was able to pull it together to finish off the match. So happy for her. What a fantastic match to watch.

The match ended at 2:15am EST?! 😧 Crazy. You can’t start a match after 10pm. Something has to be done about that. Unfortunately, injuries is going to be part of Bianca’s career. The talent is there but she just can’t stay healthy for a long time.

Since 2019, Canada has had an official far-right party, The People’s Party of Canada. All of the idiocy you see in the States is creeping up here more and more. Trudeau made a huge mistake by calling an election, thinking he’ll get a majority - that’s definitely not going to happen, and he might even lose the election. Nobody wanted a federal election and now it may backfire on him.

FAA makes it to his second straight GS QF. Hope he makes the next step and wins in that round. Haha I totally forgot it was Kerber who was the sore loser against Bianca a couple years ago because Bianca had to take injury timeouts during the two matches. I believe one was in the finals where Bianca won her first big non-GS tournament.

Leylah!! What a great match to watch. That second set was phenomenal. So many fantastic shots between both players. This teenager has fight! Down against Naomi, down against Kerber, and just fighting the last two sets in both matches. She just took down two champions in back to back matches to reach her first grandslam QF. 💪

I also like GH having a large cast. It feels like a huge community, something that the other shows no longer have. It’s always nice to see minor characters pop up every once in a while. There’s supporting characters too. At times, like right now, you’ll see characters like Scotty/Obrecht get a lot of screen time. The cast interactions a great. And the best thing is no story dominates for a long time. Valentini has done a great job budgeting the show with such a big cast and maintaining medium and large sets.

FAA! Glad he didn’t choke that 2 set lead away. Great night for Canadians. I love watching night matches at the US Open - best crowd in tennis (like that girl who chugged the beer, twice 😂 🍻).

🇨🇦Leylah Fernandez!!🇨🇦 First time watching her play (started watching the 3rd set) and she played so well - she hits winners, has a good serve, and some good drop shots. Now FAA needs to pull through tonight.

Esme just got a lot more interesting after those scenes with Ryan. If she’s his daughter, who’s her mother? Ryan wanted her to leave, so was he just annoyed with some girl asking all these questions, or did he not want Esme to interfere. Or is she just a stan of Ryan’s? Hmmmm…. 🤔
