I didn't like the album either. I only liked three songs: Easy on Me, Can I Get It, Oh My God. She said this in the interview with Vogue: And she still takes measures to avoid ramping up her fame. She avoided writing a certain kind of song for the next album, for instance. “There isn’t a bombastic ‘Hello,’ ” she tells me at one point. “But I don’t want another song like that. That song catapulted me in fame to another level that I don’t want to happen again. I’m not saying I’ve got ‘Hello’s in my pocket. I was just conscious that I didn’t want my story on this album to sound like that.” I love songs like: Someone Like You, Rolling in The Deep, Set Fire to The Rain, Turning Tables, Hello, Water Under The Bridge, Send My Love (To Your New Lover), When We Were Young. Those songs had very good melodies and production - they are tier 1 and tier 2 songs for me. The three songs that I liked on this new album are not tier 1 or tier 2 songs.

  3. It’s amazing how a song that fans heard 9 years ago, a song that wasn’t a single, became such a fan favourite and became the quintessential Taylor Swift song. And after all those years, it’s now #1. When I heard Taylor was re-recording her albums, I hoped Love Story and All Too Well could somehow potentially reach #1. When Love Story didn’t get that much promotion (maybe because it was already a single?), I thought ATW wasn’t going to get that much attention either, at least not enough to reach #1. I’m glad I was wrong and I’m so happy ATW got the promotion and recognition it truly deserves. Taylor did that for us, her fans, because she knows how much the song means to us. Definitely so thankful to her. 😭😂 ATW is Taylor’s 8th #1 as an artist/writer, and 2nd #1 as a producer.
  4. So close to beating Drake! Fantastic numbers for the re-release of Red, especially getting 61% in pure album sales (369,000 of the 605,000 units).
  5. That's sad to hear. She was one of those writers who barely gets talked about, but she's worked in daytime for such a long time. RIP Elizabeth.

  7. I think the song is my favourite so far out of the new vault songs we haven't heard before.
  8. Agreed. She was really good this week and I like her new hairstyle. I’m enjoying this family drama. The show was actually watchable this week. Only three replies so far? 😂
  9. Now that was a shocker! 😲 Never expected to see Eileen on the main show. Glad I no one spoiled that here. LOL 😉
  10. Love seeing all the promotion for All Too Well which I believe is her best song - the lyrics, the vivid imagery, the emotional storytelling, the production of the music. It was always an album favorite of fans, and it usually made the top 5 whenever you see lists of her best songs. For years fans have been wanting to hear the 10 minute version ever since it was rumoured that this existed. This is just another example of Taylor being so incredibly generous to her fans. We also got a short film and a SNL performance. The 5 minute version is still my favourite because of the production. The 10 minute version has more of a softness to it, with less drums and less electric guitar but I still love it. It makes it different instead of just being a copy of the 5 minute version with added lyrics. I love the outro! What a perfect ending. I watched Sadie Sink on Stranger Things but this made me notice her. She’s a pretty good actress. Glad to see Taylor continuing to explore directing and getting more experience. I can definitely see her making a feature film one day. Can’t wait to see what Taylor has in store for the next re-release. I predict it’s going to be 1989.

  13. EJ practicing the eyebrow lift funny. DF has been so good as EJ. I like that there’s some humour to him. If Tony gets the role of Tony, he should paraphrase a line from Tropic Thunder and be like, “I’m the dude, playing another dude, who pretended to be another dude…..and that dude was me.” 😂 MarDevil raising people from the dead if the first interesting thing in Possession 2.0.
  14. I like this casting move. Krista was one of my huge crushes as a teen. I hope she still looks good. I haven’t seen her in anything in so long.

  16. I really liked this theme wedding. Congrats to them both. Chad is one lucky guy.
  17. Same here. Marlena was possessed on a Monday and John finds out on a Friday. Who's writing this? Brad Bell? LOL Johnny's movie being the beginning of Possession 2.0 is a great idea. Have bad things happen on set. Maybe someone is killed, or a couple of people. Turn it into a little bit of a murder mystery. Maybe the mystery backer of the film is Stefano (he's still alive on the show, right? He wasn't killed off?), which would be a red herring - we only see the body but never his voice and we only see his henchmen talk to him. And you know what would've been the perfect time to reveal the devil as the killer/mystery backer? The Olympic cliffhanger. Then you use those two weeks to promote that the devil is back in Salem.

Can wait to see how they incorporate Keaton/Affleck's Batman and Supergirl. Sucks that the release date is November 2022.
  19. I didn't like it. It was basically..... Devil: "Let me in, Marlena!" Marlena: "Fiiiiine." LOL There was no build up or suspense to it. And I agree with you that there's no emotional weight or gothic feel to the storyline. Yeah, I don't get why Marlena isn't telling John about the devil if she's aware of what's happening.

The last real Batman movie was in 2012, but I get what you're saying. LOL I could watch a new Batman movie every couple of years. Everything about this new movie looks good. Most excited to see Paul Dano's Riddler.
  22. Hey @Dan! Thanks! Staff chats??....Oh you mean our Desperate Housewives/Grey's Anatomy live watching chat, with a little bit of staff discussion sprinkled in. @Errol was always the one trying to get us back on track, but we just wanted to discuss the shows. LOL Those chats were really fun. Thanks for the kind words, everyone!
  23. I loved the 94-95 Possession storyline so much, and I knew this current one wasn't going to be as good but I hoped that it would be entertaining.......and it's not. It's really bad. First, I hated that there was no build up to this storyline. The devil, as Doug, just reveals himself to Marlena during a session? That's it? That's how we learn the devil is back? Marlena levitating was such a big moment in 1994, but here we just see Marlena levitate in a normal Wednesday episode? What? If the devil was returning, something should've happened to Marlena months ago. There should've been a storyline prior to this that makes Marlena's soul venerable, and also something that invites the Devil back to Salem. Another terrible thing is the music cues. I hate that one cue that's always playing. It's like really fast violins or cello or one those type of string instruments playing. I also dislike the devil talking to Marlena through these devices. The emoji Satan was absurd. It wasn't even funny. I was so hyped about Possession 2.0.
