I like that they're doing Sprina at a very slow pace (it's classic soap that I love) and that they've brought in someone to meddle with them. And I like that it was an outsider to the PC teen group, and not someone they've grown up with like Emma. The actress playing Esme is pretty good too and I hope she sticks around. Trina/Spencer/Esme is the best thing on soaps right now.

Canada wins gold in Women's soccer! The game went into a shootout and it was pretty intense. Sweden's up 2-1 in the shootout, and they had a chance to win it with their 5th kicker but she misses. Canada scores to tie it. Sweden then misses again. Then Canada wins the gold on their 6th kicker. Amazing.

She got the hype and praise (all deserved) because she’s one of the best American Olympians. That’s what happens when you’re a huge star. And when you’re a huge star, you have the most pressure. Who’s calling her sociopath? Social media? Shouldn’t take them seriously So far all of Canada’s medals have been women. Swimming is one of the events I follow the most at the Olympics so it’s great to see the female swimmers doing so well.

If BTS decided not to release any songs this summer, Olivia’s Good 4 U would be #1 for 10 straight weeks now.

Ratings for the week July 5-9, 2021

20-20-20 - the golden age for men’s tennis. We will never see this again. What an achievement for Novak to join this historic group.

Shapo missed a big opportunity in the first set. He could’ve had set point, but missed on a open court. Then in the second set when it was 5-5, he missed on an easy volley. One of the things I wish for Shapo is that he needs to learn to not get down on himself too much, or yell negatively too much. Hopefully as he gets older he’ll be able to control this better. Oh well, it’s awesome he got this far. Proud of the two Canadian boys this tournament.

Ratings for the week June 28 - July 2, 2021

I didn’t see the match but there’s nothing really to say. He’s still able to make it to the quarters just shows how, at an old age and his body breaking down, he’s still pretty decent.

Disappointed FAA lost but it was definitely a great step in the right direction for him. Happy for Shapo but it’s going to take Novak playing at his worst for Shapo to win. No matter what happens this was a huge tournament for Canadian tennis. 🇨🇦
