  1. Can you elaborate, from a legal standpoint?
  2. Any chance the defence could win an appeal based on the Maxine Waters comments?
  3. All three counts!! Yes!!
  4. Please be guilty.....or else America will burn down tonight. 😬
  5. First week numbers are in and they're pretty good - I think 1989 will get the biggest sales out of all the re-records. I'm glad she keep the re-records as close as possible to the originals. Her voice has improved over the years which makes songs like "Change" and "The Way I Loved You" and "Forever and Always" so much better. I love all the vault songs with "Don't You" and "Mr. Perfectly Fine" being my favourites. What a blessing in disguise that she doesn't own the masters for her first 6 albums because now we're getting the re-records and new-old songs.
  6. Chloe Zhao also won the Directors Guild Award. "Chicago 7" and "Nomadland" are the two horses ahead, coming down the stretch, in the Best Picture race.
  7. Y&R: - James Harmon Brown last listed as Script Writer on February 18 Looks like Susan Banks took his spot on the SW team.
  8. I thought Frances McDormand was the sure shot in Best Actress but Viola just won the SAG. After the SAGs, I think Chadwick and Daniel Kaluuya are the only sure shots now. Best Actress and Supporting Actress are up in the air. So it looks like Best Picture will be between Nomadland and Trial of the Chicago 7, at least they're in the lead right now. Meh. People complain about everything. The Trial of Chicago 7 has an AMAZING cast.
  9. I'm not sure about Best Actor and Supporting Actor too. I think Best Actress is the only one that's a sure shot right now. We'll see what happens at the SAGs.
  10. Nomadland takes the lead in the Best Picture race by winning the Producers Guild award.
  11. I liked it a lot better than Whedon's version, such as: Cyborg's story, less awkward Flash, Steppenwolf and Darkseid, the final battle scenes. I'll post more later. Zack talks about what he had in mind for the next two JL movies: Zack Snyder Explains That Enigmatic Justice League Ending
  12. Glenn from The Walking Dead! Nice! Happy for Steven Yeun too. He was one of my favourites from the show. The DGA/Oscars not being in-sync streak continues.
  13. So proud of her!! She wrote Fearless when she was 17-18 years old, wrote 1989 when she was 23-24 years old, wrote folklore when she was 30, and all three albums are so different from each other. What an artist! A legend at the age of 31!! I didn't think she was going to win AOTY when Dua won Best Vocal Album because only two times since 1995 has an album won AOTY without winning Best Album in its respected genre field.
  14. There's a great chance these aren't the final 5. The DGAs and Oscars haven't match nominations since 2010.
  15. Directors Guild Nominations: Lee Isaac Chung - Minari Emerald Fennell - Promising Young Woman David Fincher - Mank Aaron Sorkin - The Trial of the Chicago 7 Chloé Zhao - Nomadland
  16. Producers Guild nominations: Borat Subsequent Moviefilm Judas and the Black Messiah Ma Rainey's Black Bottom Mank Minari Nomadland One Night In Miami... Promising Young Woman Sound Of Metal he Trial of the Chicago 7
  17. Susan Banks?! LOL I hope somehow she puts "mean, mean, mean" in a script. 🤣
  18. Congrats, Naomi! We finally have the next female superstar in Women’s tennis....heck, in tennis overall. There’s no one really on the men’s side that’s going to dominate after the big three retires.
  19. I thought for sure Blinding Lights would go back to #1 for Super Bowl week. Up is now the second song to get blocked by Drivers License.
  20. F the 43 Republicans and an extra FU to Mitch McConnell. I want Trump in jail or in a casket.
  21. 6 unreleased songs!!

  23. Drivers License has its first block! If it weren't for DL, 34+35 would've gone to #1. It got the remix-push-to-#1 with the addition of Dojo Cat and Megan - Ariana, Dojo, and Megan all had #1s last year. DL is expected to stay at #1 until the Super Bowl week where Blinding Lights has a good chance to regain the top spot.
  24. It's the 24th song to do this - WAP was the last song to do it. I wish Billboard released the points with their reports. Olivia Rodrigo's 'Drivers License' Is One of the Most Dominant No. 1s of Last 30 Years "With Olivia Rodrigo's "Drivers License" racing onto the Billboard Hot 100 (dated Jan. 23, 2021) at No. 1, the out-of-the-box pop powerhouse easily laps every potential challenger, arriving with well over twice as many Hot 100 chart points as its closest competitor, the current No. 2 "Mood" by 24kgoldn featuring iann dior. "License" is the 24th song that can claim to be at least twice as popular as any other song on the chart that week."
  25. Welcome back to the rest of the world, America! 😄 What great and historic day!
