Way to go, Pennsylvania! Still a bit nervous about Nevada though. And I’m glad to see so many election deniers lose. Hopefully we can add Kari Lake and Boebert to that list.

Looks like Disney's "payola" effort to get Lift Me Up to #1 didn't work. LMU got 48.1 million in radio audience, compared to Anti-Hero getting 37.6 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 17%). Usually on radio, songs build up week to week. Also, I wonder if Disney influenced Billboard to start using the new tracking method (that now gives more points to radio) on Monday October 31 (in the middle of the tracking week too!), because the new method was suppose to start in December. Anti-Hero becomes Taylor's first multi-week #1 since Look What You Made Me Do in 2017. Very surprised Midnight Rain did that well in the second week. It doesn't have the "at the beginning of the album" boost, and it didn't get any promotion, and it's not a top favourite among fans, from what I've seen. LOL But it's doing well on streaming. Weird.

LOL Yeah, that is pretty ridiculous and awesome. I'm happy Taylor became the first to get all 10 spots. This is her 3rd number 1 as a producer. She also has the record for most #2's (7 songs) that never went to #1. Here's a rundown of what she achieved on the hot 100, from Billboard's article: - she becomes the first artist to claim the survey’s entire top 10 in a single frame. - she now boasts the most top 10s among women in the chart’s history, with 40 (surpassing Madonna’s 38). Among all acts, she trails only Drake (59 top 10s). - she ties Ariana Grande for the most No. 1 entrances (5) among women. - Swift is the first artist to have debuted atop the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 simultaneously as many as four times. With the rule change coming in November, I wonder how it's going to affect future album bombs. Will it make it harder to dominate the chart like this?

The set launches with 1.578 million equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending Oct. 27, according to Luminate. The last album to tally a larger week was the debut frame of Adele’s 25, when it bowed with 3.482 million units (Dec. 12, 2015-dated chart). This is Taylor's best week EVER, in units, and 4th best ever in pure albums. What a huge achievement in the streaming era and post-bundle era. Getting over 1 million in pure albums is not suppose to happen, it doesn't matter how many variants there are. That vinyls number of 575,000 is insane. The numbers are shocking because there was no massive lead single, and there wasn't a lot of promotion. All she basically did was slowly release the title tracks, and did one TV interview. There was no other TV interviews, no magazine/print interviews, no radio interviews. If she was able to get these numbers, I wonder how big it would've been if she did a ton of promo. 16 years into her career and on her 10th original album, and she's still doing incredible numbers. With making 6 albums in 3 years, there is no doubt she is the hardest working music superstar, and there's no signs of slowing down.

Episode 1.8: "Say it." "Her children.....ARE BASTAAAARDS!!! And she is a whore." Me: 🤣.....to.... 😮 Dude got his face sliced in half! LOL Superb music for King Viserys entrance and walk to the throne. He truly loved Rhaenyra and had to be there for his daughter one last time. What a scene! Episode 1.9: "You desire not to be free but to make a window in the wall of your prison." This scene between Rhaenys and Alicent was so good! That line by Rhaenys is one of the best from the season. And then the dragon scene at the end. This episode made me like Rhaenys. Episode 1.10: Can they please stop with birthing scenes???? This was the most gruesome of all, and I had do periodically look away. What was the point of Rhaenyra losing the baby? I hope we get a Rhaenyra/Alicent showdown scene next season. They are my two favourite characters on the show. Incest question...... Earlier in the season, why did they make it seem like Rhaenyra and Daemon getting together was taboo, yet Viserys/Alicent's son and daughter married each other. I figure incest marriage is mainly for strategy, but I don't see the point of Aegon/Haelena. Why was Aegon/Haelena pairing okay?

Wow! Getting James Gunn is huge. But it's only for 4 years, at least. Can't wait to see what they're plan will be.

I love Dear Reader too! I hope people take to heart the message of the song. "Find another guiding light..." was the perfect way to put it. She's going to have her best first week EVER, however, that's in units. After four days, the album already crossed 1 million in pure sales, but I don't think I've seen the exact number yet. So, Midnights might still have a chance to beat 1989 in pure sales.

Midnights is projected to have 8-10 songs in the top 10. The record is 9 set by Drake from his Certified Lover Boy album. Let's see if Taylor can make history as she's already doing on the Billboard 200.
