So, today I watched the 1991 series that aired on NBC (sub-titled The Revival), and it is not half bad. But I can also see why NBC did not give it a second season.

It was steamy as frick.

The pure look of excitement turning to disappointment on Andre's face is heartbreaking... come on, Andre, convince the woman you are meant to be with that she should not be calling this off. Take her to France, Italy, anywhere and everywhere! Dani is coming off way too insecure, all because Ashley is everything Dani wishes she could be at times. Who said Andre was 100% yours, Dani? Because it is very clear: he is not, especially if he is entertaining Ashley. I appreciate how loyal Caroline is to Bill and the child bride, even to a fault. I wonder if she still will be once she finds out the child bride is likely lying about being pregnant. Dani, why TF you lying to yourself? You would take Bill back in a heartbeat if he came to you and said, "Baby, I am sorry!" But ankle-free tree trunks? Now that is funny as frick! Oh, so Shanice is ending it with Derek already? He must not be that worth it now, is he? Ashley needs to stop listening to everyone else and listen to herself for once. Awe, Ashley is Andre's safe place? I love that. Eat that, Danielle. But more time? Honey, Derek and you never once kissed with passion like that! Happy to see Ashley and Naomi hanging out some more; we love when girlfriends visit each other's homes. Very natural. Oh Lordy, what is the child bride about to do? Go grab some Halloween blood? Derek, you have zero reason to say anything. Notes: Lynn Martin is growing on me as a scriptwriter. Is that the Jackson 5 playing at Orphey Gene's? It sounds like a young Michael Jackson. Someone is screaming for help, and not a single person runs over? Seems semi-realistic, as most would be on their phones recording someone having some kind of apparent meltdown in a public place.

I hate this decision. I really do; how long until it splits? Does this mean GH is going to Disney+, because it currently is not available there?

Surprised GH surged. But it's good seeing Y&R continuing; audiences must be enjoying the soap. Visually, it is gorgeous, but story-wise, it does make me want a bit more.

I just think it's bringing in someone who is capable of handling the role, and he is someone who can and does. Nothing more, despite everyone wanting to read more into it (and the same with Phelps). Demos and ratings are up, and that's what the suits care about. Unless those slip, Griffith is not going anywhere.

Kevin Hamburger has been there a while and has been receiving onscreen credit as a supervising producer for quite some time now (since May-ish).

So happy to continually see Jon Lindstrom (Joey) shine!! It is about time he got some good material in daytime, especially since he was not as Kevin on General Hospital. I see the chemistry testing between Daphnée Duplaix (Nicole) and Robert Christopher Riley (Carlton), and while I do not hate it, I also hate what the character side of it could ultimately bring.

I agree and if he did return to daytime, it would be to Y&R first and foremost.

The whole reunion, from Friday to today, really got me in my immediate feels. I know; for me, it's very old-school, and I have appreciated that they have not made it a main staple with this soap, and hope they do not moving forward.

The chanting for Barbara is beyond beautiful; she deserved those flowers! I totally forgot Naomi did not know about Dani and Andre, and I love her calling out Chelsea about it (who is rocking an Anita Williams shirt). Samantha, roll your eyes out of that head of yours, and learn your place. Bradley, good on you for not letting Deadbeat get away with it this evening. Entertainment Tonight feature?! That is amazing. Brilliant. Classic. Most-scorned Dupree woman of the evening? Nicole takes the claim!! Ha! Dana, you are making a scene. I am sure Eva will be able to get in under the name 'Richardson, Ted'. Guarantee. But if it were up to Ms Katherine, I doubt she would go anywhere. Uh-oh, Nicole is going full-on "Hold Up", isn't she? She going after Becky with the good hair? Shanice going for her autograph and selling herself for it. Jim Price continuing on that touring idea; good on Anita for suggesting both Sharon and Tracy go on it, though. Nothing like some delicious-looking French fries with a glass of red, right? And good on Eva for standing her ground, but Nicole is not having it. Good on Bradley for coming back for Anita. That is wonderful. Madison is really cute about her love of Anita... and I like that the latter has given her seal of approval. The anvils dropping regarding Samantha and Tyrell's history of how their mother dropped them for the system (June?). I love that Anita had her moment alone with Barbara and the symbolism of everything. Notes: Whoever was in charge of curating the images for the slideshow and putting them together deserves a raise. That was really emotional for me, and I loved seeing real-life images! It was such a beautiful, touching tribute. I hope these slow, dramatic fades into commercials are not permanent. I do not like them. I have said it before, and I will say it again: I need the music from this concert on a streaming platform. It is so good and better than most of what is out today. Kudos to production for the work in today's episode; the symbolism in the final scene? Whew.... a standout!
