I think it was meant to be a five-year prison sentence, so he should have been released from prison in 2017. But, I gather, I doubt anyone cares that deeply for Matt Hunter (especially with Patrick Drake off-canvas, and I doubt Jason Cook would reprise the role). As for Cook, his last few roles (the last dated 2023) were in television movies (some for the same Jesus Network that Cameron Mathison works for).

Ding-ding. By the time Matt and Maxie were truly paired, Jen Lilley was in the role, and they had married so she could not testify against him in court for the murder of Lisa Niles. Honestly, Matt should be out of prison and back on canvas (even as a recur-guest).

Jeresa Featherstone is an amazing costume designer, and she usually rocks the looks of the female cast members, but she continues to miss the mark with the male. Keith D. Robinson is constantly in oversized, ill-fitting clothing, and Alex Alegria is constantly in the opposite: too small, ill-fitting clothing. Tamara Tunie (Anita) and Trisha Mann Grant (Dana) are amazing together; they work well as opposing sides.
