BTG: November 2025 Discussion Thread
date: Wednesday, November 19, 2025 | Ron Carlivati, Jazmen Darnell Brown | Michael V. Pomarico Not Dana letting Vernon know that she is aware of his presence at the Bowman. No bueno. She cannot handle keeping things to herself for a period of time. Spoilt bitch, no offence, but I cannot stand you. You are getting everything you deserve. I like that Ted is not willing to take sides in Eva's battle with her sister. That is smart. As much of a problem as I have had with Martin since day one, I appreciate him seeing Eva as she is: his sister. So refreshing. Not Anita overhearing Dana and Vernon's conversation. How unfortunate. I love how happy Martin is for Eva. That is what a sibling does! And speak on it: the spoilt bitch needs to shut her trap before someone (Eva) shuts it for her. Aw, how cute is it that Andre and Dani are re-exchanging vows? Just a shame it will not last when Dani goes back to Bill and Andre goes to Ashley. And he said the four-letter word! Eva and Martin's banter is so cute; I love that she offered to talk to Samantha, whom she formed a bond with at one point in time doing her hair. And her face when the spoilt bitch made her presence known is how I feel whenever she shows up, opens her mouth, and acts like she is God's gift to the DMV. "Well, not anymore," get her, Eva. GET HER! Yesssssss. Anita has a vivid imagination? Ooh-la-wee! Anita, let us in on it. Please. Why do I feel like Dana is not talking to Ted about Peaches but about what Vernon is [supposedly] doing with Sharon? Hmm. Wow... I am surprised. It IS about Peaches. Colour me surprised. Ooh! I am so happy that Martin overheard the spoilt bitch wish Dana had "gotten rid" of Eva. Let her have it, sir! DO IT! Notes: Right when I thought I would catch a break after writer2 yesterday, today we are stuck with the writer. At least, like Danielle Paige yesterday, we have one of this soap's best scriptwriters (Brown) writing. I am sorry, but this soap's take on half-siblings or even step-siblings is very off-putting, as if they are less than full-blooded siblings, when in reality they are as special and important. The food at Uptown definitely rivals Orphey Gene's; it does look absolutely delicious and comforting. Sean Freeman (Andre) showed up today with the emotional pull. I knew he had it in him, and it is beautiful to see at the hands of Brown's scripted words.

Bradley Bell doing everything in his power to avoid using the word "rape" is disgusting. And despite this, Crew Morrow and Lisa Yamada are doing good work. Both deserve better than this bullshït excuse of a "soap".

I'm honestly surprised Nikki and Victor have not divorced yet... maybe their brief opening of the marriage did something for them. 🤣

Y&R: November 2025 Discussion Thread
I agree; I just wish we'd actually gotten a chance to see a modern Jack/Nikki pairing. It would have been my dream come true, especially since we got Ashley/Victor.

She is 29... she's inching closer, and we know how important age is on soaps. 🤣

date: Tuesday, November 18, 2025 | Jamey Giddens, Danielle Paige | Steven Williford Samantha, accept the fact you were in the wrong and do not deserve your digital devices. Do not like it? Go upstairs. Read a book. Do some knitting. Bradley and Martin's "we get it" to Tyrell was hilarious and absolutely a parent's thing to do. Loving a bit of history of both the Duprees (via Eva) and the Hawthrones (via Izaiah). So cute. Poor June. I am sure she did not purposefully mean to mess up; we have all been there working in customer service. Shake it off and keep on keeping on! Not twice a week for Vernon's cobbler order... Sharon must be using that as payment for their meetings. I appreciate that Ted still cares about the Duprees despite the end of his marriage to Nicole. Not Dana using Peaches' crisis as a way of taking Ted's attention away from a co-worker. Girl, do not be so obvious. Bradley is a man after my own heart with a simply divine chocolate milkshake. That is the way to go. Dana really needs to dial it back. Money will not buy her everything she wants and she will realise it soon enough. And I doubt Shanice is scared off by her idle threats, either. "With all due respect, Ms Thomas, this isn't a shopping mall." Oh, Dr Wilkes just owned Dana's arrogant ass. I love it. Wigs and personas? Okay now, Shanice ate with that read. I like that June assured Bradley that she will not replace him or Martin in the twins' lives. And that blood does not make a parent. Words never rang more true. Jessica reading Samantha was amazing. Dana would want to involve Ted. Her obsession is crossing beyond dangerous boundaries. Not Dana catching Vernon leaving Sharon's room at the country club. That is not good. Not good at all! Notes: Ugh. Not another breakdown from writer2. This week was going so well. Thankfully, Paige is an outstanding scriptwriter (one of this soap's best), and her words today are excellent. The food at Orphey Gene's does look bomb, so I do not blame any of the characters for uptalking it. I would eat there daily if I could. And gain hundreds of pounds, too. David Lami Friebe (Izaiah) continues to make me sick watching him, but he is nice to listen to. I still really like having June as the central person hub at Orphey Gene's. That familiar face you see when you walk in and have scenes. Dana wanting a second opinion means we could have an incoming doctor, right...?

I agree. She said, "I do," and then decided, "I don't." I wish Nikki Abbott had been a longer duration. I wholly prefer Nikki with Jack than I ever have with Victor, and today's episode proved that. And I never minded Ashley with Victor.

Seeing Peter Bergman (Jack) and Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) act opposite each other really makes me mad that their short-lived reunion in 2012 was just that... short-lived. I've always loved the Jack/Nikki pairing.

But that's not weird... nail polish is allowed in prisons via commissary. Same with general makeup, haircuts, and hair colouring products.

It absolutely was; the narrative was there, and they followed it promptly. Maybe that's back when women had babies at young ages?!?!?

I mean, it is called the Dr Tom Horton Free Clinic, so it was kind of... a given he'd be talked about predominately? No?

date: Monday, November 17, 2025 | Sara A. Bibel, Cheryl L. Davis | Phideaux Xavier The banter between Bill, Caroline, and Tomas is nice to see... but Caroline is slapping it on thick about the concern for the con artist child bride. I know they have become friends (at least on Caroline's part) but damn. Not the con artist child bride eyeing her next sexual conquest... and here comes the spoilt, entitled bitch wanting information. These two belong together. They really do. So, Anita entrusted Dana with mailing out the invites to Winterfest? Oh, this is going to be messy house-down boots. I know it. I love that Mona is not letting up on her hatred of Dana on behalf of Laura; that is someone you want in your corner. So loyal and undying. I think it is cute that Andre is professing all of this to Dani, but she is going to run the moment Bill's situation is made known to her. Mater-D? That is not how you pronounce that word. Of course she would not know how to pronounce it... that job is beneath her. Welp... Jacob just dropped the bomb about Naomi seeing the text message about the birth control prescription to Bill. Let's see how this goes down! The con artist child bride really thinks she can sink her teeth into Izaiah... but I do not see him wanting anything from her, especially if he knows Bill in the way we are meant to believe he does. Of course Bill would jump to the immediate conclusion that Jacob cheated on Naomi. Not all men are cheaters. Looks like the con is crumbling under the Parkers... and I love it. Notes: I swear, the less green production model that coincided with the arrival of Tracey Thomson is a much-welcomed change of visual. It was carrying into Days of Our Lives' 50th anniversary territory at times, and now, it is so much more satisfying to watch. I appreciate the continued changing dynamics between characters as time has gone on; seeing Hayley and Katherine interact was not on my bingo card. David Lami Friebe (Izaiah) continues to bobble his head, and his mannerisms are just... not working for me. Good actor, bad habits/tics. The redesign of the "outside of Fairmont Crest" hotel room to be more L.A.-like over how it was during Joey and Vanessa's Puerto Rico trip. No one does love scenes like Beyond the Gates. NO ONE. The camera work in today's episode by Xavier is outstanding. So many great angles.- B&B: November 2025 Discussion Thread
